First time here and enjoyed a cold brew coffee! I got it with caramel but there are multiple flavors of syrup and even sugar free options! The barista was kind enough to add whipped cream to mine. The place has seating inside but lots more outside, as well as a stage area and even a mulch area for people to bring chairs if you wanted! Would go back to try more drinks and even some of the food! read more

The bike trail riding culture in Williamsburg is huge and kind of under the radar. It never occurred to me that there would be restaurants Serve g this group. But the vibe is so Williamsburg! Woodsy outdoor seating, breakfast, coffee, to go snacks, and alcohol. The staff are terrific in helping you navigate the menu and are eager to make your experience great. I wish there were more places like this in Williamsburg. So if your on a bike ride stop in, if your exploring Williamsburg take the extra few minutes to drive here and relax while absorbing all that truly is Williamsburg! read more

Took refuge here when I got caught in the rain on a bike ride. Nice warm sandwich and chai, prices are good and the sandwich had super fresh ingredients, the bread was especially great. Overall really cool place too, definitely coming back to explore as the store inside looked pretty cute as did the outdoor areas. read more

Dog friendly and lots of breakfast sandwich options. Great outdoor space to enjoy coffee and snacks! Unfortunately not a lot of gluten free options (only pre packaged items like chips/snacks) and the parking lot can get pretty tight if it's busy. Menu/offerings are very hard to find online - Wish they were more accessible! read more

A quaint little establishment right off the Virginia Capital Trail near Jamestown. They have local art for sale, as well as all kinds of snacks and some pastries. They have a large refrigerator with beer from many local breweries. My husband took way too long making up his mind. I had one of the best vanilla lattes ever. Yum. We enjoyed our treats outside on the wraparound porch. There were some heaters out front, which felt amazing on a chilly day. Worth the stop!! read more

This place is so neat! Great location for a stop while walking the trails. The vibes here are quite cool. The art all around is fun to look at and the shop inside is neat to browse too! I got a SF vanilla latte and it was really tasty. The barista was very friendly and attentive. A number of baked goods looked delicious, but my toddler settled on a large sugar cookie, to which she reluctantly shared a bite with me that was delicious. Wish I came during warmer weather because I've heard incredible things about their live music nights. What a gem, worth the stop. read more

Very cute place to hangout especially since it's along the bike trail. An awesome 2-man live band played Saturday afternoon. Only bad thing was the sandwiches were tiny and not much inside them for $12, pricey for what you get. We were still hungry. read more

This little gem has been in existence since 2017... why am I just now hearing about it? I was on my way to the Williamsburg Community Chapel, a bit early and hungry. Out of nowhere Spoke & Art loomed on the south side of Route 5. Cool! I pull into the dedicated lot, park easily, and enter the building. Lots of options here; many of them are foodstuffs. The menu is a bit scant, but I ordered the Mediterranean Pasta Salad (Elbow Pasta, cucumber, sun-dried tomatoes, kalamata olives with a balsamic viagarette [sic], topped with feta, $4) from the menu. On the counter was a display case of cookies & brownies. Gimme a brownie! And water to drink. I went into the dining room and snagged a 4-top and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. After some 20-30 minutes, I returned to the order counter and inquired about my meal. The predictable response: "It will be out shortly." So I return to my 4-top, sit, and wait. And wait. I again returned to the order counter. The hostess was super-apologetic, and offered me a second Mediterranean Pasta Salad for free. I like. I returned to my table, and perhaps five minutes later another employee brings my meal on an aluminum tray. I devoured the MPS first. So good! I had to force myself not to eat the second MPS. After enjoying my Salad, I started on the Brownie. Good, but it didn't knock my socks off. There is an outdoor patio, and live music most evenings. I hope to review that when the weather cools. And throughout the store, works of art are for sale. And they have bike rentals for people like me who have not been on two wheels for years! And Thursdays! Afternoon Tea each Thursday featuring fresh baked Scones and Macarons and homemade Clotted Cream topped off with Strawberry Jam. I can't wait to return! I had not seen S&A before because Rt. 5 is not my usual path to Williamsburg. I believe I will alter my route and include S&A in my future trips to Williamsburg. read more

Lovely venue right on VA Capitol Trail. Nice outside seating with plenty of seats in shade. Love the turkey & Brie Sammy, chicken curry Sammy Well worth the stop if hitting trail. Also parking in back. Weekends may offer an acoustic artist. Eclectic decor that mostly cycling oriented. Some green space for families to stretch out. read more

A tremendous find on our adventures in Jamestown. This appears to be a hodge-podge of coffee house, lunch spot, gift shop, performance space, and bike shop. We dropped in for coffee only -- which was delicious! -- and couldn't resist the slab of brownie we spotted! Our lack of resistance was well worth it, too. We saw families grabbing snacks, kids getting post-school treats, walkers refueling, and essentially all manner of customers. The staff are friendly and helpful, too. We're looking forward to returning to see an event here, or have lunch. Phenomenal spot! (And the Union Jacks outside aren't Jamestown kitsch. Apparently the place is owned by a Brit!) read more

Delight "rest stop" on the Capital Trail in Williamsburg. They have hot food, cold snacks and beverages. About 10miles into our bike ride this was an excellent reprieve. There are many bike racks and lots of outdoor seating. The staff was helpful, welcoming and genuinely friendly. I had a delicious mango popsicle. What a treat. I look forward to resting here again on my next ride. read more

Spoke + Art Provisions is like an oasis for those who are enjoying the Virginia Capital Trail! Due to its location, they offer bike rentals and a clean and well-maintained restroom that's opened 24/7, for those who are enjoying the trails. Their menu offers various sammies on crusty baguettes, wraps, salads, soups, cookies and brownies, and various drinks, such as lattes, coffee, and tea and featuring local beer, wine, and ciders. I have to check their Afternoon Tea that they offer on Thursdays, as it sounds lovely! They have plenty of seating for al fresco dining on their patio. A little pricy and a limited menu, but a great place to stop if you are walking or biking the trail. Sandwiches are very good, the chicken wrap was almost more than i could eat. Wide variety of cold drinks. Very good cookies. Indoor seating with a/c, outdoor seating for fresh air. read more

Fantastic! I ordered the Cabrese Sammie. It uses Brie instead of mozzarella. The bread is crusty, tasty and the right thickness. Wonderful quirky place right on the Capital Bike Trail/Route 5.. There's always a good chance of random music breaking out, too. Creative cold salads and delicious made-to-order sandwiches. Wide range of drinks and snacks. Steve, the owner, is a Yorkshireman who knows how to create a welcoming, relaxed, lightly bohemian place that when you walk in feels like you're pulling on a favorite pair of old faded jeans. He even hosted a dawn tea party the day of King Charles coronation. If your just visiting Williamsburg, this is a place you'll tell your friends about when you get home. read more

While riding the VCT on my bike, I approached this super cool shop/store and couldn't wait to hit it up on my ride back to my vehicle. The taste of my Leek and Parmesan pastry was amazing!! And my mocha latte on ice was super yummy! The wait staff was so friendly, helpful and attentive to customers approaching checkout. I enjoyed the bicycle art decor inside and outside and the settings. Plus the selection of beer was incredible, so I grabbed a few of them to take back to my hotel room. I loved stopping here after riding on the trail. It's a perfect spot to enjoy lunch, a mimosa, and a chai latte. They actually have 3 versions of chai. My turkey and Brie sandwich was perfect and the hummus plate was delightfully larger than we expected. I will definitely return here everytime I visit Williamsburg! read more

Wonderful unique casual restaurant catering to cyclists on the Capitol trail or casual riders, drive ups or neighborhood folk. Outside seating covered or picnic tables around a modest stage. Great sandwich's, deserts, and my favorite light fare, a humus plate with veggies.and pita. Nicely stocked refrigerator with wine, beer and other assorted beverages. Live music Saturdays and Sunday's, rents out bikes and has a fix it station. Great place to sit outside and relax in a quiet atmosphere with a wooded backdrop, view of the bike trail with great food with optional indoor AC options. What a beautiful location and friendly staff! I got a turkey and provolone and added some of the yummy raspberry mayo. There was a super sweet young girl working the cash register. My only complaint is that the red pepper soup tasted like it was straight out of a can. The setting is gorgeous, friendly staff, and yummy sandwiches. read more

Staff is always friendly. Wish they had a little bit more variety in sandwiches, and soups, but over all what they do offer is always consistently good! We go there a lot! My parents also love the vibe here and it's the first place they want to go to whenever they visit, and it's always the last place they eat at before heading back home. read more

I got the honey vanilla latte with oat milk. It was very smooth and not too sweet. It also wasn't scalding hot so I was able to start drinking it right away. They also have a "for here" option, where give you glass or ceramic cups/plates to use while there. In addition to the peaceful atmosphere, the furniture was comfortable and the staff was so friendly. She chatted with me about when they opened and the events that are sometimes held there (today was a thrifting pop up).

So much to love about this new discovery besides the fact that it's NOT a Starbucks lol and for those that know me, you know I love and love to support and discover tucked away indie coffee places (see my reviews!). This place is also a roastery and sells their own bean blends. I don't know the history behind the shop and name but was told it is chemistry themed and owned by W&M alum - yassssss! I stopped by twice while in town and staying just down the street. Had a hot Rose Macaron latte and the next day had the Lemon Bar. Both were DELICIOUS. NOT OVERLY SWEET BUT WITH SUBTLE FLAVORS AND BOLD ESPRESSO TASTE. NOTTTTTT WIMPY WEAK. Both days I had the OG Bacon Egg Cheese sando on an ET bagel that was a decent accompaniment to my seasonal lattes which were clearly the stars of the show. I was there during the week - once mid afternoon, the other day late morning and it was not crowded at all both days. The seating area is HUGE. 2 separate adjacent rooms - walk through the front ordering area and you'll find a large, super cozy and inviting "living room" type space with comfy couches, armchairs, dining tables with chairs and even cubes for studying. Dark and moody vibes. SUPER COZY, RELAXING AND KEPT VERY CLEAN AND TIDY. The other seating area has a bunch of tables and chairs, lots of windows, brighter and more conducive for gathering. I took and posted a bunch of pics and some vids so check them out. So glad to have discovered this coffee spot and gem! Will definitely be back when I visit Williamsburg again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
