Got there when they first opened. The man behind the register was still setting up was very polite and said he'd be with me shortly. Got a dozen donuts to go to take back to the family at the condo. Wonderful selection and very fresh My family has been to the Hershey location before. They caught this location in a strip mall while picking up the previous nights dinner Bonus for how cool the Williamsburg logo was with the duck donut logo ! read more

Not a fan of this style of donuts. Although many people do enjoy cake style donuts for me they are too heavy and dense. I prefer a light and airy style. They are on the pricey side and I can think of several other places that have much better donuts so I cannot recommend and will not be going back. read more

Donuts were warm and freshly made. There is nothing pre-made or in cases. You order and they make it. Best to order online. My order took 25 minutes from time of order to be ready. Lots of different choices. Cons--naturally donuts weren't warm when I made it home, but they were delicious!! read more

This was a phenomenal place! The area is so nice and so are the staff. You walk into a welcoming environment and for a visitor that makes all the difference. Donuts are hot, but they are just cake donuts made from a batter mix when you arrive. There is a lot of variety but be prepared to wait if you haven't ordered online in advance. I prefer a raised donut over a cake donut so I will not return. read more

Warm donuts, are life. At Duck, they make their donuts fresh to order. You can watch them get made, come off the line, and get designed. I did my first batch earlier this week (Colonial), forgot to grab a pic, and enjoyed so much I had to come back (Obx originals today). Perfect density and fantastic flavor. They're about $2-2.25 a donut with a dozen prices around $20.50 and well worth it. Staff was great as well! read more

First time at this Duck Donuts as we just moved to the neighborhood! Stopped in before the snow storm that was coming to grab a 1/2 dozen. You can get all different types of glazes and add-ons to your donuts. All very fun! Friendly staff and they made our donuts in about 5 minutes. They are delicious and oh so yummy. Came here to this location during a visit. They now have chocolate donuts in addition to the yellow ones, which is great for you chocoholics. First time coming to a Duck Donuts and oh my gosh, my diet was a total epic failure for the day and days to come especially now I learned of other Duck Donuts locations (yeah, you know I searched online) near where I live. Whoever came up with the concept of fresh baked donuts and then giving the customers the choice to top it and drizzle it, is a true GENIUS!!! I ordered a half a dozen of donuts which the kids and I created our own. You can also choose the variations that are listed or create your own. It's the same pricing and you can have as many toppings and drizzling you want. First, every donut base is a vanilla donut. Yes, they bake it fresh and you can see it on the conveyor belt. Then, you select your toppings and then drizzles goes on last. Our only problem is that we want literally everything! After placing our order and paid, we waited aside to the donuts to be prepared in front or our eyes, which was prepped fairly quick. Soon, we sat and enjoyed our afternoon treat. It was so delicious!!! I will never look at a donut the same again. Move over Dunkin' Donut! read more

I arrived not knowing they didn't do donuts with filling. I see why, the hype is all around customizing your toppings and frosting but the filling is the best part to me. No jelly, chocolate, or Bavarian cream? I gave it a shot anyway, 6 donuts. Their dough is too cake like - and it's all vanilla! These are hands down the best donuts I have ever had! I can't believe it took me so long to see what they hype was all about! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to take a gander at their offerings. The staff members were very friendly and let us take our time picking out which ones we wanted. We went with a half dozen and choose maple bacon, chocolate cake topped, s'mores, and salted caramel. They were all freshly made and the toppings were put on once we ordered them. We were so excited myself and my husband both ate on hot in the car. They were all amazing but my favorites were the maple bacon (of course) and the salted caramel. Not only were the toppings delicious but the donut base was a perfect cake donut. I haven't had many cake donuts but I definitely prefer them to yeast. The taste was so much better! I'll definitely be back to get another half dozen soon! read more

I'm not sure why you guys put DoorDash orders last, if you receive and or except a ticket why not make it as it comes? The reason I mention this is because I accepted an order and arrived before it was expected to be finished. No problem. Patiently I waited until I started seeing walk-ins come way after me and was served and left and still I waited for the six donuts. The customers that order delivery are still customers just like walk-in customers. You should make the tickets as they come and take care of all of your customers equally. Not make the drivers and customers waiting for their food because of what? What is the issue with DoorDash it's extra income and we are delighted to deliver the food however, 10% of the merchants (you) treat us poorly and with zero respect as if we are not partners which we are. We are all in this together so why treat us differently? Besides, it's still your customer whether they are a walk in or ordering online, it's still money in your register. But this is all management and the owners fault. Do better, your staff is amazing but they can't even get to the point of greeting a customer because they are overwhelmed. This is not the case for every restaurant so there is really no excuse. The owners or manager's should have been there to help and if that was management then these people are being tortured to make a living. read more

All the previous times were all excellent with the food and beverages ordered. Let's see if this visit continues the good luck. We were immediately greeted by the staff and promptly seated. To my surprise, they completely remodeled the restaurant. Going from 9 tables to close to 30 and looking gorgeous from head to toe. For the entire hour we were there, it was a sight that I can't forget. Congrats to Tipsy Beans for this :) Enough gloating about the interior. Let's discuss the food. My beverage was a large iced Mud Turtle latte and my meal was a meat lovers omelet with mushrooms added (for only 25 cents extra). Everything was excellent. The latte wasn't too sweet which was very good for me. And their tall glass (which is new for remodeling) was really cool. The omelet was cooked perfectly with the protein and veggies all coming together. A home run all around. Thank you Tipsy Beans for making us feel at home. Top notch service to go with a wonderful meal to start the morning. We'll be back again soon :)

Since we were already in the parking lot, we made the easy decision to go in. As we walked in, I noticed that the place had been expanded. We stood at the podium, and we were greeted by a greeter who seemed disinterested and lukewarm. Not what I'm accustomed to when I visit. I gave him my information, and he informed me that there was a 20-minute wait. I suggested that we could sit on the other side of the bar, but he said that they were closing that side because they were closing soon (in two hours). I noticed that they had tall tops, and I wanted one. He said that he could make that happen. While he was huffing and puffing and cleaning some tables, which were all standard height, he finally told me that my table was ready and it was a regular table. I was surprised because I had been told earlier that he could make it happen when it came to the table I requested. The greeter then told me that the side with the high tops was closed, so I had waited 30 minutes for a table. I could have sat at the bar, but Maurice wanted to go home at 6 p.m. sharp, and he had no recollection of what he had said. I was disappointed with the service and the lack of attention to detail. I hope that Tipsy Beans finds a new person to greet and seat customers. Maurice was not the right person for the job.

It looked to have a good vibe, but once we walked in, we realized it was a coffee shop that served food. You have to get in line grab a menu and place your order. Any coffee, water or juice juices are delivered on the right side of the bar and the food is delivered on the left side of the bar. And what I mean delivered that's where you have to go to pick it up. The food is served on Small paper plates so you will lose some of your food as you try to cut or move it.. I ordered the breakfast platter which was scrambled eggs, choice of meat, potatoes, and toaste. My partner had the cheese omelette with sourdough toast. There was nothing special or extraordinary about the food. With the small paper plates that they use food easily fell onto the table top. They don't offer water in a cup, but rather you can buy a bottle of water. If you didn't realize that after you ordered, you have to go back and get in line so that you purchase your water. (We assumed they had water/cups to use). We left felling unsatisfied.

When we pulled up to the speaker, instead of the usual cheery greeting ("Welcome to Starbucks! What can I get started for you today?" or other such pleasantry), we were greeted with a very flat, "Can I help you?" I told her we were here for a pickup, and she replied, "Pull around." This is the rhetoric I expect to encounter at the burger joint with the dancing clown, not Starbucks. When we pulled to the window, we were met with the unsmiling countenance of a blonde girl wearing a tie-dyed pastel sweatshirt (no name tag) and makeup with sparklies in it who merely held out the drink. When I took it, she instantly withdrew as I tried to ask about the other drink. Apparently, she was helping the person at the speaker as it took her a while to get back to me. When she stuck her head out the window again, she asked what I said. I told her that we had another drink and she handed us a couple of straws and napkins. "I know," she said and walked away. A few minutes later, she came back and held out the second drink for me to take. "Thank you," she said, again in a flat voice. I'd like to think she was having an "off" day and wasn't on her game.

The experience was not near as wild as that of a moonshine tasting in Gatlinburg and not quite as bougie as a wine tasting in the Napa Valley. Mead tasting sits in the neutral middle. Our taste master did a phenomenal job explaining what mead is and how it is used in winemaking and it was not only an interesting new adventure it was very educational. The place is set up three fold. One area as a store, one for tasting and another "bar area". It is decorated in all bee and honeycomb themed art and gives an artisanal vibe. We walked out with some honey but not as much as I would have liked due to the attitude of the little bully.
