Typical Bruster's experience with a board chock full of chocolate flavors. I chose death by chocolate. I was floored by what a single scoop in a cup looked like-very overflowing. My youngest pointed to a flavor she saw a picture of that wasn't on the board but they did have it (birthday cake). My oldest had strawberry and gave it two thumbs up. Appreciated the later hours so we could get ice cream after a late dinner. The location is in a plaza so there is separate parking here but you could also park in the plaza lot if needed. Service was super friendly and quick. read more

Great location. Quick service and amazing delicious ice cream. Will definitely be returning to try other flavors. They have a big variety on their menu and they were friendly. read more

Nothing ends a summer day like some amazing ice cream and this did not disappoint. Staff is friendly but it did take a while for everyone in our party (5people) to get their orders. Everything was made well and delicious though!! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area (we are here on vacation) read more

We love Bruster's! Our favorite time to go is on Thursday. If you bring your own banana, you get 1/2 off on a banana split. The best part is that you get to pick 3 flavors of ice cream (for each scoop). Customer service is always friendly and I am always excited to to order ube flavor... it's actually quite yummy and comparable to many ube flavored desserts I had growing up. We will keep coming back here!! read more

This Bruster's is phenomenal. The ice cream is always fresh. If you don't like the cream you got, they will let you get something else without charge. They can be slow at times, but the people that work there are really nice. They have a drive thru which is so nice when it's rainy or cold. There are plenty of outside benches and tables to sit at. read more

I ordered a custom ice cream cake 3 days in advance. I expected it to look like the picture on there website. First, 'Congratulations' was spelled wrong, then there were no sprinkles on the cake, just a line of frosting dots around the edge. Unimpressed. read more

My favorite Ice Cream place. Great flavors, friendly service, location is perfect with good parking, drive thru or order at window. Quiet, clean area read more

Bigger and better sundaes!! We stopped here and got some ice cream, but it was no ordinary ice cream. This place makes the most amazing sundaes. My daughter had never tried a banana split before and always asks to get one. Well, she got her chance here! Three huge scoops of ice cream flavors of your choice and all the toppings. Throw on a huge serving of whipped cream and a cherry and this girl was in heaven. I had the turtle sundae, a much more reasonable size, but full of amazing ice cream, fudge, caramel and nuts. They even gave us a free pup cup for our dog. She loved it. It was her first taste of ice cream. read more

We and my golf team of 15 people pulled up 20 minutes before closing and we saw the workers devastated and praying to God. They handled it like trained professionals and the milkshakes were amazing. Very well managed place and would definitely go again next time we visit. read more

Great selection of Ice Cream. Love the way they put containers on cones to keep dripping on you. Service was great

Great homemade ice cream with an amazing flavor selection! Portions are big so be ready for some brain freeze! I had a "Blast" which is similar to a blizzard but way better tasting because the ice cream was fresh. Worth the visit and would certainly go back when we come back! read more

Decent ice cream but what's up with the "decent prices" comments?!? It's very difficult to find any item less than $6 and most of them are closer to $9 for one item! The service is nice and friendly, and my banana split was really good, but it's hard to believe that anybody can charge eight bucks for a milkshake, which is what they are charging and the reason why I didn't go that route. If money is no object, I certainly would recommend this place. read more

So yummy! Such a good selection of ice cream! Almost overwhelming! Ended up going with the butter Pecan, coffee cake streusel, and cotton candy regular cone ( 3 scoops of choice! ) and it was HUGE, I couldn't believe it was considered a regular size. The butter pecans was full of nuts and was so sweet and good. We will be back for sure! The ice cream quality was great!! Staff was very nice :) read more

Staff is friendly. Ice cream is delicious. Highly recommended the black raspberry and the UBE shake.

The service is great and so is the ice cream! and they will pack you a mixed pint of ice cream and with a smile no less!

Excellent, always consistent and good. If you want homemade ice cream this place is it. The staff were nice. The location perfect, plenty of parking since it's in a mini mall type location. We sat on the benches and enjoyed. I had the sugar free ice cream which was delicious. My husband had the death by chocolate that was incredible. Clean area and they were quick. read more

Great place to stop for ice cream with kids after taking the ferry! There are benches behind the shop to enjoy your treat.

Always enjoy their milkshakes. Living so close to them has been dangerous! They are a little pricey but absolutely worth it.

Vegan offerings right now are chocolate, mint chocolate, and cookies and cream with Oreo. All made with oat milk. It was pretty good - we got one of each but I would totally mix the cookies and cream with the mint chocolate chip next time. read more

The flavors here are really great! Everything that I tried was very good. I wish the vanilla cherry was actually a almond cherry ice cream and that would be amazing! But the vanilla cherry had a ton of cherries in it! My kids got the waffle cone which could feed about 3 people!! Even the "one scoop" cup was more than I could handle. read more

This has been our go to spot for ice cream, not for the service but for solely ICE CREAM. We have tried many establishments in the area and Bruster's really beats them all for its taste HOWEVER their customer service/efficiency needs massive improvement. The students who work there are soooo slow. Not once we had to wait less than 25 minutes in the line. No one is efficient and fast. They're like a lunch of sloths! Not sure if they haven't received adequate training or if they're told to take their time but I see my kids and many other kids getting pretty impatient for waiting that long! Please work on your efficiency so we can make more visits and leave bigger tips! read more

Visiting Williamsburg and saw the great Yelp reviews, which brought us to try this yummy ice cream shop. Reminds me of an old DQ, but the ice cream is made there! I wanted to try a banana split or the apple/Carmel dumpling, but didn't want to get something so big. I settled on the Carmel apple with shortbread cookies in it- 2 scoops was plenty. My bf loved the death by chocolate- 3 scoops. The little Yorkie got a freebie pup treat, too! read more

Great ice cream. Large selection and it's not the same ol Hershey that most places are scooping out. Fresh crispy waffle cones.

Met up with my sister and her kids to grab some ice cream and hang out for a few. We got a variety of things in our group from ice cream cones to milkshakes and everyone was happy with what they got. I appreciated the flavor variety they had. I got a small cone with a scoop of butter pecan and coffee ice cream and it was delicious. So many times ice cream all tastes the same and it's just coinely sweet but this one I was able to taste each distinct flavor and absolutely loved it. The prices are super reasonable as well. This will not be my last visit as there are several other flavors I would love to try. read more

Excellent icecream selections that change almost daily. Regretfully the new flavors often sell out too quickly. Icecream is high quality and delicious. Attracts good crowds in the summer and I like their hours that expand in summer. Has cones, sundaes etc. but we prefer to buy handpicked cartons to take home and order online to avoid standing in line on popular evenings. Word of caution, staff don't always keep the online flavors up to date so be prepared for a second choice - more frequent in the summer. But the young staff are always pleasant, hard working and deserve a tip. read more

Very busy so service was somewhat slow. Friendly staff. A bit pricey. On Thursday bring a banana and get banana split for half price, regular price $7.95. Ice cream was ok but certainly not the best I have had previously. Not close to business area of Williamsburg. About a 15 minute drive from Aldi location. Probably will not go there again. read more

Their product is excellent. Their hired help need much better training in the respect and communication dept. . Almost every time we visit or get a DoorDash order from there it's a problem. Out of a flavor? What are my other choices? " Oh I don't know " they say. This time they claimed they only had 2 flavors in stock. OH REALLY! What the yahoo??!! It's an ice cream, sorbet , smoothie specialty store. The menu shows many many flavors. It's extensive. My only problem is how exasperating it is to try to communicate with disrespectful, rude employees who act like you're intruding into their space. Whew! I hope they do better. My blood pressure is off the charts! Thankee. read more

Gerg is an a-hole and missed it by a mile. Went to Brusters first time tonight where I was greeted by a very peppy and respectful young man- Danny. He was extremely helpful to my ice cream sampling frenzy. He put up with us a full 2 minutes when in steps Breanna- what I would be doing a great disservice if I didn't say she's the ice cream version of a somalier ! We sampled many one of a kind flavors as well as old favorites. I chose two amazing flavors in my SMALL CONE (it's HUGE) and am currently savoring whole pecans, ribbons of caramel, graham cracker and silky whole fat hand churned ice cream! Hoooowiiiiee! This place is the best! Go home GERG. read more

My fiancé and I decided to check out Bruster's because they offer a pup cup of ice cream for free with any purchase! We were absolutely impressed with the ice cream selection offered at this location. We decided to share a two scoop cup of chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate ice cream. This was plenty for us! I paid about $4 for the two scoops of ice cream, which is a great deal. My pup was also very happy to be included for dessert! The pup cup includes vanilla ice cream (this is made for dogs-I made sure to check with the staff) and a milk bone. My fiancé and I really enjoy going to Bruster's because we have not found a place that offers treats to dogs as well! You will not be disappointed with the taste or service at this location. Take your puppies here for one of their FREE PUP CUPS! We love stopping by Bruster's on the way home from walking Colonial Williamsburg to get our puppies one of their pet-friendly ice cream cups. I assume they are free because we never get charged for them. I believe you have to at least order a cup for yourself. It comes with one scoop and a milk bone on top. Our dogs go crazy over them. We introduced our new puppy to it for the first time this visit and she started eating the cardboard it was so good. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They helped us choose which 2 flavors we wanted to try. We got a double scoop of cookie dough and chocolate. Tasted great! We will always stop by when we are in the area. read more
