From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and outstanding customer service. Although she was the only employee working, she handled everything with professionalism, efficiency, and grace. There were already three families enjoying their ice cream when we arrived, and while we were there, she served our family along with three additional families--all while scooping ice cream, operating the cash register, and keeping things running smoothly. I asked if she was always scheduled to work alone, and she mentioned that another employee was supposed to arrive at 3:00 p.m. By the time we left around 4:20 p.m., she was still managing the entire shop by herself without ever losing her positive attitude or composure. Courtney deserves recognition for her incredible work ethic, professionalism, and dedication. In a time when great customer service can be hard to find, she set an outstanding example. Thank you, Courtney, for making our visit such a wonderful experience. The Big Scoop is fortunate to have someone like you representing their business!

My husband and I also thought the ice cream was very good. The young man behind the counter was knowledgeable about the place. We came in mid June so not many flowers were blooming. I could imagine it must be beautiful when all is in bloom. There was inside and outside seating. We were surprised to find corn hole and ping pong outside. We all enjoyed this break from the loud screaming kids of the waterpark. Totally recommend this for yummy dessert and some low cost fun.

It used to be a house that was converted into the ice cream shop. Now onto the important stuff...the ice cream! Lots of good flavors and I throughly enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie dough flavor and my dining companion enjoyed their vanilla shake. Service was efficient and kind. Each table was adorned with flowers arrangements that you could buy and they also have a make your own bouquet table set-up inside. Visitors to the area should definitely visit here to find a gift to remind them of their trip. Located inside the store is Bubba's Ice Cream. They offer many flavors and one non-dairy option which is a sorbet. Their milkshakes also are in demand. When we visited, they had three staff scooping, and the line moved quickly. This is a popular spot, as they have a BOGO coupon in the visitors' magazine. The General Store had Fife and Drum performers playing from 7-9 pm entertaining guests in the comfortable porch. This is a fun place to visit, shop, and enjoy some ice cream.

As I typically will say in any CW property it's the staff and interpreters that make difference. The staff time after time are so friendly, especially to the children who are excited to look over the sweet treats. Of course my family will be back.
