My family has been to Elite and came home excited about it. I finally went today with two friends, and we had a lovely experience. They enjoyed their coffees, and I enjoyed an earl grey tea. We also ordered chocolate croissants and had them heated. Everything was delicious! In addition to typical coffee shop pastries, they have a case full or specialty cakes and assorted treats like baklava. They also have a case of cold beverages. Seating is comfortable on sofas around tables. Elite is special, and we will return. It's good to see a local small business and talk with the owner. Parking is free and service is friendly and efficient.

First time here to enjoy the tea. The owner is Kurdish and his wife bakes all the yummy pastries. I couldn't resist a croissant which he warmed up. He said the Kurdish tea is stronger than black tea in terms of caffeine. I got an iced green tea. Joined my friends. Btw I ate the croissant so quickly that forgot to photograph it. It was a gorgeous 80 degrees outside so if you want a cold beverage you can ask.

If you want excellent coffee and sweets with a clean and quiet atmosphere, Elite is for you. The variety of drinks offered here will have something for everyone, plus giving you the opportunity to try something new. I got the Kurdish coffee with soy milk. I could ask for it to be made sweeter or less sweet than normal, but I chose to get it as-is. The tahini brought a wonderfully rich yet light nut flavor to the drink. I also got a slice of the pistachio ricotta cake, which was also delightful. The owners make everything themselves and plan to change some of the desserts seasonally. They also plan to add Italian coffee to their line up of Turkish, Kurdish and Spanish offerings. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I honestly love this space . I normally have to travel to the DMV for a Spanish coffee and I was over the moon about it being available here and it was soooo good!!! The gentleman who helped serve was very kind and informative of what all they offered. This is a very quiet gem . Please visit them ! It's worth it!

A wonderful experience all around. The space was spotless and inviting, and the coffee was clearly made with care--especially the fresh beans and variety of drinks we tried. We couldn't resist taking home a couple of desserts, and the brownie was a standout. It's easy to see how much pride and passion the owner puts into this place. Definitely worth choosing over a chain café.

Once again, coffees were perfect. We had Spanish Latte and Kurdish Coffee each tailored to our specification. The owner is very personable. He is opened today, Xmas Day. Plenty of parking. Soft italian music playing.

This place is amazing. The menu has many good options for drinks. There are so many pastries and baked goods that are freshly made. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The inside is cozy and relaxing. It's a hidden gem you need to try!

The Rhythm Room is located in the heart of Peninsula Town Center which means finding parking was a bit of a challenge. My friend parked in a parking garage that was fairly close but I had to circle the block a few times and happened to find parking on the street almost 2 blocks away. Before we walked in, security checked our bags and were patting down the guys, which I thought was interesting seeing as though this was more of a restaurant than a bar/club environment but I guess you can't be too sure. We made reservations for 7pm and our table was ready as soon as we arrived. Our server was very nice and greeted us right away. We both ordered the Island Breeze cocktail and it was alright, it tasted more like juice than anything else. For appetizers, we decided on the Mac & Cheese Bites, Buffalo Crab Dip and the Salmon Bites. The food was served fairly quickly but the Mac & Cheese Bites were a bit dry and the Salmon Bites weren't very flavorful. The Buffalo Crab Dip was my favorite and had actually had an abundance of crab, which we enjoyed. We were hoping there would be a live band but was told there wasn't a band on Saturdays, which we thought would've been a nice touch since there's one on Fridays. Eventually, a DJ did show up so that helped create a vibe but it did start getting packed as the evening went on so we decided to leave. Overall, The Rhythm Room was pretty decent. It was a bit of an older crowd when we went but we had a good time nonetheless. If you live in Hampton or want to try out a new spot with a decent vibe, definitely check them out.

The photo shows "pan-seared" scallops with a ... risotto-like substance. Heh. $50. Uh huh. Scallops: No sear. Super chewy. Hard to even cut. Risotto was like mushy oatmeal stuff and zero seasoning or flavor. Maybe something was wrong in the kitchen, I dunno. Ack. We both ordered this and left most of it. Also a bottle of wine (white) that had to be chilled in front of us for a while before the server could/would pour it. Hm. $110 for that. Note: the *service* was excellent! It is never a waiter's "fault" when the food is awful. We tipped the excellent waiter accordingly, BTW. Just sharing our experience at this place on this particular night. Hope it helps. Be aware. Maybe it's "iffy."

There's a small selection of can drinks including alcoholic ones, tea, soda, water. I liked that they stock Sly Clyde's cider from Hampton. Not sure sharp objects and alcohol is the best idea but everyone seemed to be behaving responsibly. We were escorted to some bays that had two lanes next to each other and then separated by a fence before two more open lanes. We were given a safety brief at the lanes with people in two other lanes and some instructions on how to throw. Don't pass axes by hand, put them in the return box. Different styles of how to throw. Thankfully we had the full bay to ourselves since so one was in the open bay next to us. We played for 75 min which was a comfortable amount of time. They also have a knife throwing option which we didn't select. There's some seating available near the throwing area for non players. Each bay has a standing bar with two backless metal seats. I was able to throw comfortably with a walking boot on for a sprained ankle. I appreciated that since I didn't even think of that before reserving a space. I was nervous at first but managed to do ok with the over head two hand throw. The bay attendant didn't check on us after bringing our pretzel bites and so it didn't seem necessary to tip for service. We were able to get an additional score cards on the way to the snack area and that is where you close out your tab for your outing. The kiosk offers a tip option so maybe they share with the attendants. I talked with a friend who had been there previously and she said the booth attendant asked for a tip when she went and that was off putting. That wasn't our experience though. Overall we spent just over $100 for our date night. While there is snacky food available, it's not the type of place you are going for dinner and fun. Get a meal before or after somewhere else.
