Kung Fu Tea delivers consistency every time!! I've had boba drinks from this chain in many different cities and it almost always tastes the the same! Call me a boba snob, but the boba (tapioca balls) have to be cooked a certain way that keeps them soft and slightly chewy. This boba shop has had purple yam flavor (which I love) and as an extra bonus they have fried chicken! The chicken is decent too! Service is always friendly and fast! It's located at the New Town shopping center, so there is plenty of parking and other shops and restaurants to visit nearby. I love Kung Fu Tea! read more

I was so excited to see a bubble tea shop open up in the area. I was hoping I would have a new place to frequent, but I can't say that I was impressed by the bubble tea offered here. I had a taro Milk Tea and it didn't hit the mark. The flavor seemed off to me, not reminiscent of the typical Taro flavor that I get elsewhere. I ordered the tkk wings, which is 4 small chicken wings, to try. I was reading good reviews about the chicken so I wanted a small portion. They tasted good and were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. They had great flavor and the sauces that you can pick up along the side wall are a welcome addition. What I didn't realize was that ordering these wings would set me back 30 minutes so that they could be made fresh (not my biggest concern since I was taking them to go, and driving another 20 minutes home). I was expecting to be in and out and wasn't informed when I ordered that the wait would be 30+ minutes. That little tidbit of info would have been appreciated. Overall, the place is nice, I don't think I'd try the bubble tea again. The chicken tasted good, but perhaps try ordering ahead next time unless you have lots of time to spare. read more

The food is good there, but their service was horrible! I usually get good food and service from their other locations, but not this one. We went there, and saw that the chicken in the case looked old, so I asked if they had something new coming out. One server acted like she didn't understand me and the other one just said no. In about 1 minute later, they pulled out a huge tray of some fresh wings, and I said I wanted those. She said I could not have them bc they were someone else's order. They told me that I had to wait, then they put out those same wings in the case, and finally served me my order from there. I didn't understand why they would lie twice. Once when they said they did not have anything fresh cooking then said it was for someone else. It seems like that they just Wanted to get rid of the old stuff to me first. Honestly, this is one of my favorite places to go for a nice pick-me-up drink or some quality chicken. It does get really busy because it's so popular, so I understand the other reviews. That being said, I've never had that bad of an experience, maybe a bit long of a wait but not worse than Chick-fil-a before Sunday lol. This time I came in during a slower period in the afternoon Saturday, and everything was perfect. Too bad I ate the sandwich before I got a good picture! Highly recommend. Pro Tip: Check the online menu before coming in if it's during busy hours. There's so much to choose from, it gets hectic for the staff and customers behind you when it takes too long! The selection of drinks is classic and great. Girls in front are polite and efficient. What I love the most is the authentic flavor, which is fragrant and not too sweet. They also have the milk cap add-on that is slightly salty and very rich (highly recommend). Overall, the milk tea is exactly what I used to have in my hometown. This is going to be more of a review for the TKK Fried Chicken- since this location has both KFT/TKK. The KFT is good- I mean, as a chain, they're super consistent and have never failed me. 5/5 for the bubble tea. TKK, however, was a general disappointment. Fairly high price point- $7 for the most basic fried chicken sandwich, $8 if you want lettuce and tomatoes. So I was hoping that this would be more on the end of a higher-quality chicken sandwich, considering that well-established places like Roaming Rooster or Wooboi are $9/sandwich. A higher-quality chicken sandwich, however, is what it is not. The basic one has got the same fixings as Popeyes- fried chicken, two pickles, and some sauce. The chicken itself is spicy, as is the breading, a plus, I guess. But it's not even as if the breast meat is super thick and substantial- it's just fairly average, meh. Nothing particularly outstanding, it was good, but not *that* good. Save yourself some money and go get Popeyes for half the price- I really was very, very unimpressed. Perhaps I was hoping they would offer more Taiwanese-style items, like popcorn chicken with basil, but nothing of the type was to be seen. Expensive and disappointing at best. read more

This food is crazy good! The spicy chicken sandwich was a great combo of heat and then sweet with the sauce. I highly suggest getting the original Kung Fu Tea that can come as a combo. Super disappointed that business hours were not honored. Their YELP and website and APP all state 9 pm but we arrived about 848 pm and doors were locked and employees inside did not acknowledge us. I am aware it was close to closing but it wasn't closing time yet. Delicious, clean, reasonably priced, and did I mention delicious? They are finally open!! As an avid Kung Fu Tea fan I've been not so patiently waiting for a local location and even better, they have Taiwanese chicken! Per usual Kung Fu Tea the drinks are delicious and with the various toppings and customizations there are countless flavor options to satisfy them taste buds. The chicken is out of this world! Sides are super yummy, especially the fried cheese curds. Plus I can't recommend the honey garlic sauce enough, it goes on everything, you could seriously drink that stuff. And then the service. Everyone there takes quality seriously, in the midst of a pandemic they are doing a fantastic job keeping everything clean and making sure customers are taken care of. Went in for the first time tonight and was so happy I did. I ordered a honey tea for myself, Thai tea with bubbles for my daughter, and Thai tea no bubbles for my husband. Everything was so good. I don't normally like boba but I really liked the Thai tea with boba. I'm absolutely going back to try more flavors. I do wish they had mango tea but maybe they will in the future. The tea is good. If you like Boba I recommend going. I am disappointed with staff help. First time I went I had never been and asked for guidance. I received little explanation and help from someone who was not happy to be at work. The next time I went I forgot to pull up my app to receive points after I paid. I asked the friendly girl behind the counter that I forgot and could I still get the points. She said no. I just finished paying! The third time I went I pulled up my app and the app does not register with the scanner. I was asked is my app registered I said yes I believe so my name pulls up on the app. Then I ask if it is not registered then how do I register it? The friendly girl says I don't know and again I do not receive points. The staff needs some extra customer service training. Not wanting to go back again. We do have other options in town. read more

Loved this place since it opened but this location is the worst KFT I have been to. On many occasions, my drink is missing toppings. So there is some lack of reading or attention to detail on orders. Then a certain worker 'D' says unnecessary comments about my choice in drink with a certain topping. Then they will say 0 sugar doesn't happen, but other locations do it with no problem. I've been to other Kung Fu Tea's before, but for some reason, this branch in particular does not make the Taro Milk Tea correctly. We asked them to remake it thinking they got our order wrong, but they gave us the exact same weird tasting tea. It doesn't taste like Taro at all. Manager was not very nice either. Could have at least refunded or given us a different tea since this one wasn't close to Taro. In fact, it wasn't even purple. I won't be coming back here again. read more
