Spicy Salmon Roll Spicy Tuna Roll

I ordered the vegetable Ramen. I asked for it to be spicy, but it wasn't very spicy at all. Although it tasted flavorful, i could've just used more spice. The sushi was really good. Fresh fish and flavorful. My order was ready very quickly and the inside was pretty cool. I will probably try this again.

I am not sure why this place isn't crowded! It's a beautiful and fun looking restaurant and always spotless. Ramen Time is amazing and needs to be crowded. The service is attentive and prompt. The food comes out hot and fresh. The flavor, texture and moisture level of the fried rice and mei fun is perfect. The Mei Fun has a light flavor but delicious. The Udon noodles are perfectly cooked and FULL of flavor. I don't have pictures but for appetizers we had the chicken karrage, takoyaki and scallion pancakes which were all amazing. You must try this place is you haven't!

As we walked into the restaurant we noticed it's not too busy. It's a low lit, quiet place. Seemed peaceful. We were seated with no wait. Our server came and took our drink order and we also placed our order. Food came out in about 10-15 minutes. It was served hot and fresh. I got the combination fried mei fun with chicken, pork, and shrimp. It had a good flavor, but I wish I would've got something with more of a kick. I would've asked for some siracha or some type of hot sauce, but we didn't see our waitress for a while. I'd try it again, but I do hope the server is more attentive next time.

From experience, good ramen can be hard to find. Ramen Time checked the boxes we had. The ramen has a complex flavor, doesn't skimp out and is fairly priced. The tonkatsu ramen had a nice pork flavor and had all of the components you'd want in it. As a fan of spicy foods, I preferred the hell ramen. The spice was not overwhelming at all and gave it just a bit of heat that made it taste more exciting than the tonkatsu. As for the steamed dumplings, the steamer basket it came in was cute, but they weren't our favorite, so we plan to try a different appetizer next time. The restaurant itself was clean and quiet with friendly, quick service. Highly recommend.

A good place to get a good meal in the Williamsburg, Virginia area This restaurant is located on the west side of SR-60 and just to the north of the intersection of SR 60 and Richmond Road. This Japanese restaurant is easily accessible, right off the road in a stand-alone building. There is a dedicated parking lot that provides easy access to the establishment. Inside is a cozy interior adorned with Japanese-themed decor, creating a serene atmosphere. The seating arrangement is designed to accommodate various group sizes, ensuring comfort whether you're dining solo or with companions. There is a sushi bar in the center of the room as you enter with the hostess and checkout counter located right next to it. The menu has a good and diverse selection of ramen bowls, sushi, and sake. Notably, the vegetable ramen is vegan-friendly and comes in generous portions. They offer both takeout and delivery options. Their online ordering system is user-friendly, allowing customers to conveniently place orders for pickup or delivery. I ordered takeout as they were one of the few locations on a holiday. The restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly. Our order was ready on time. Overall, this is a good choice for anyone wanting a good Japanese meal.

Finally, a good ramen place! I've been having a hard time finding a place with good ramen since I left Japan, and I found this place on TikTok, and decided to swing by on my way back to VA Beach from Charlottesville. The noodles are good, not up to par with Japan, as they let you choose the hardness of the noodles, but the broth was as good as I remember from ramen in Japan. The accompaniments (meat, egg, etc) were really good as well. The server was very nice as well, and decently attentive. I did go at a time when it wasn't so busy, so maybe that did make a difference. Anyways, at least for my first time here, amazing! Will come back for sure!

Newly renovated, so clean and appealing. Service was okay...not overly prompt, and had to flag down waitress. Ramen itself was...adequate. Basic bone broth lacking the depth of flavor a good ramen broth should have. I had the hell ramen, which basically had some hot oil floating on top of regular broth. Oyster appetizers were probably the best thing, five nice, plump fresh oysters breaded and fried, served steaming from the fryer. Unfortunately, ramen bowls arrived about 30 seconds after the appetizer was delivered, so no time to appreciate it. On a non-food note, in the ladies room 2 out of 3 stalls were lacking toilet paper. Early into lunchtime (just about 12:15), so shows lack of attention to detail. Overall, good but not great. Did not try any other options, but saw several patrons with rolls and steamed dumplings. For me, price just isn't justified. Lunch for 2 was over $50; for a bowl of noodles that was lackluster, that's a little steep. Probably not going to return.

I order from here fairly often and the hell ramen is by far my favorite. It's the perfect amount of spice for me. The other ramen options are just a little less flavorful than I normally prefer. The taro milk tea was also delicious and refreshing! The inside is so cutely decorated it's always fun dining here. Never had a problem with the service, always friendly.

Came here with a co worker and wanted to try this place since I was working in williamburg area. I ordered fried squid which was excellent. The pork bao bun was okay, and the spicy miso ramen was good. Service was quick and fast and love the ambiance. Such a cute place

TLDR: Best single bowl of ramen I've ever had. "Service charge" is bs, I will not tip again if I return. Okay so I've seen some bad reviews but to my surprise some people are being critical on the flavor. I had the Hell Ramen and I'm going to do my best to walk you through the complexity of flavors that await you should you choose the same path. My wife and I place our order. We were actually planning a completely different restaurant, but this is a guilty pleasure we both enjoy. She chooses the vegetable ramen (she's a dietitian and gives me hell about pork all the time) while I go for the Hell ramen. We begin to talk about the weekend and wonder where time has gone, after all our youngest is turning 4. We enjoy a hot sake together... Just like that, our ramen is out on the table. Less than 5 minutes from order to delivery. Now I know somebody has to have turned the speed up in this matrix we're living in. Red pill or blue pill... doesn't matter I'm jumping into this bowl. The first flavor I'm treated with is the earthy taste of the wood ear mushrooms. Incredibly powerful aroma. The next thing I focus on is the spice, my personal scale gives it a 6/10 or just less than that of a raw jalapeño. The great thing about the spice level is that it's actually perfect, it won't stop you but it has enough bite to let you know it's there. I notice the egg... when it comes to these marinated eggs I can't help myself. 2 bites... I'm devastated, it was the best egg I've ever tasted. There was a hint of sweetness that accompanied the rich flavor of the egg. I need to chill, surely there's something in this bowl that will relax just a bit. I go for the corn and green onions, little did I know this corn must have been just shucked because it's possibly the freshest and crispiest companion in the bowl. I suppose it sort've worked as a palate cleanse... never mind incredibly sweet and the green onion aroma had me reeling. How have I not tried the pork?? I remedy this quickly but HOLY $H!T that's good! Typically the chashu is a good meat but it can be on the blander side of the bowl but not here. It's clear at this restaurant they have to be extra on every level possible. This cut has a richer flavor and honestly I think this might have come from the bacon region. My wife has the vegetable ramen, she says it's good but I know she's missed out. The only complaint I have is this service charge. I was ready to tip for 30% on this meal but I have an issue with someone mandating my generosity in the form of money. They should at least let people know about this up front.

I ordered the spicy Akai sushi lunch combo. The sushi had decent flavors, but was minced fish rather than whole fish. I wasn't impressed.

Make sure to scroll all the way down on your selections to see all the options/toppings. FOOD: ~Poke Bowls: I got the 2 protein option and my husband got the 3 protein option with rice. The salmon and tuna was solid (they were cubed), and the spicy tuna was the chopped and dressed type. The flavor and texture of the spicy tuna was good. ~Toppings: they have a bunch of different options for toppings where you can choose as many as you want, with only a few of them having a surcharge. ~~the ones we got were cucumber, edamame, green onion, ginger, crab salad (shredded kani), seaweed salad, garlic crisp, roasted seaweed, and fried onions. Everything was good ~Sauce (you can choose up to 2): got the standard sriracha mayo which was tasty ~Shrimp Shumai (3.5/5): standard - note they were deep fried ~Shrimp Tempura (4/5): solid - very crispy and good sized shrimp ~Thai Tea (3.8/5) with boba (2/5): thai tea had good flavor and just creamy enough. The boba was not good though. Overall, this place was good and better than I expected.

The atmosphere: It's a small restaurant best suited for small groups, though there are a few tables that can accommodate larger parties. You order at the cashier and they bring the food to your table. There's also a self-serve drink station, and they provide free water cups that you can refill. The food: We started with the takoyaki and chicken karaage. The takoyaki was good, but fairly standard. The chicken karaage portion was generous, and the pieces were large. The coating was lighter than what I'm used to, which kept the chicken juicy, but it did make it a bit oily. I also wished there was more seasoning in the chicken or batter since I ended up relying on the spicy mayo sauce quite a bit. For my entree, I ordered the pork katsu with rice and tonkotsu sauce. It was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. I also would've preferred a slaw instead of just a few pieces of lettuce. Portions overall were big, and the dishes are definitely shareable. The service: Service was touch-and-go, very much a fast-casual setup.
