    Tofu Teriyaki Bowl
    Cherie O.

Pick up after ordering from mobile app but front counter employee didn't realize to expedite our meals as we had arrived earlier than expected, waiting fifteen minutes until it was ready. The food consisted of mad spicy chicken and noodles which was spicy enough for my hubby who typically has to liberally use his own personal supply of hot spices. I took a taste of his, one was plenty for me as i prefer my Tofu, brown rice and veggies which were cabbage. His chicken looked like pork, so well prepared along with the seasoned noodles. Mine was bland though I did add the separate teriyaki sauce. Small clean dining space so the restaurant is suitable for take out but waiting as other meals were being made was why I rated it 4 stars. Also a stark contrast between my bland vs. his way spicy one. It's conveniently so l think we will order from Teriyaki Madness again.

First time ordering from here and was very pleasantly surprised. Download the app and ordered online - a very easy process allowing for order customization. I arrived earlier than expected, which caused a minor issue as the counter person was not aware he had to send the order to the cooks, which left me sitting for an extra fifteen minutes. Training issue, which shouldn't happen again. I was very pleased with the amount of spice in my bowl...didn't have to add extra hot sauces (which I often do). Wife enjoyed the tofu - too healthy for me! Convenient location, clean interior, reasonably priced.

Ever since Teriyaki Madness opened, it's become our go-to stir fry/Asian food takeaway place. I usually get the spicy teriyaki chicken with fried rice and veggies while my husband gets the same, only non-spicy. The chicken smells and tastes like it was cooked on a grill or over a fire. The spicy chicken has a little bit of spice and I would be interested to see if there is a spicier option. The rice is usually very good too, where you get the individual grains. During our last visit, we must have gotten a bad batch of rice because it was mush, but we don't think that's the norm. Usually, when we order online, the food is ready in about 15 minutes. It's impressive they are this well-oiled so soon after opening (about a month ago). The inside looks clean and is small, so if you're going to order here, get it to go.

Waited 35 min for the worst chicken and rice dishes. It stinks because I was so looking forward to this. Got home my order was wrong I was suppose to not have vegetables just white rice. . This has to be the worst cuts of chicken ever fat in every bite. My wife couldn't even eat her orange chicken. Don't waist you time and money here

When my husdband and I ordered, we were not expecting to pay $50 for our meals, but, once we got our food, it was worth every penny. We got medium bowl combos...mine was the Steak Teriyaki (spicy) with yakisoba noodles and veggies (pictured) and his was Chicken Teriyaki with veggies and fried rice (I forgot to take a pic if his). With the combo came a side (we chose egg rolls) and a drink. Plus we ordered a 4 piece crab rangoon. They have small, medium, and large bowls. Our medium bowls had enough food for us to get two meals out of them. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious! We will be returning!

Still, too tired to search other restaurants, I went ahead and ordered Gal Bi, out of gazillion different dishes. My thought was how hard is it to screw up Gal Bi. It's such a very simple, easy to make K dish. Nope, I was wrong! No flavor, it's super oily, and because they are not specialized K restaurants, they didnt have bibimbap sauce to alleviate its bland flavors. I only had 2 little ribs and asked to box up the rest. I lost my appetite completely. Yup! That's the size for a $20 dish! Stupid me! I should have walked away once I read the menu.

Before we moved to Williamsburg, we visited the area for vacations, and Thai Tara is alway the first place we go for dinner and the final meal before leaving. Whether you crave the freshest Sushi/Sashimi or you prefer authentic Thai street food, you will find it here. We have traveled to Bangkok many times, and from first hand experience can say without exaggerating that the Chicken Sate or Fresh Rolls are as authentic as you might find at the street markets in BKK. The Tom Kha and Tom Yum soups are a treat. The extensive selection of warm Thai dishes like Pad Thai and Penang Curry are outstanding. We often include a hand roll or a selection of Sashimi from the Sushi bar in our orders. Never has the sushi bar prepared anything less than perfect. And if you want a real treat, finish your meal with a Mango Sticky Rice. Although small in size, it's surely is a dessert of the gods. An extensive bar is also on hand at Thai Tara for your favorite hand mixed cocktail, umbrella drink or beer, including Thailand's own Singha, a refreshing lager. Plan to arrive early because this cozy (but not small) place gets very busy, especially on weekends. Parking can be tight. But even in the busiest evenings, service is always prompt, attentive, and with a Thai smile.

For the most part, it's street parking where we found a very good spot and restaurants and stores galore. Let's see how this spot turned out for us. Inside, the decor is very nice. They have a few tables inside and plenty in the outside patio. It's basically a spot that's takeout but if want to dine-in, that's totally fine. And they serve Kung Fu Tea, one of our favorite guilty pleasures that unfortunately closed near us months ago. After a few minutes, we ordered at the counter. Along with a large Strawberry Milk slush, I selected a 5 piece tender combo with a side of crinkle fries. First off, the slush was pretty good. At 50% sugar with boba pearls, it hit the sweet spot very well. It felt like old times when we used to order KFT often. But, the chicken combo itself was underwhelmimg. The food came out hot and ready, but the tenders were tough to break apart either by biting into it or with your hands if you dipped in any of their sauces. Sophia ordered a chicken sandwich and wasn't impressed, saying eating a Chick-Fil-A sandwich is better. That says a lot. I did take some home to eat for leftovers, but like earlier, could've been better. Not to put any bad press on the business, but it was disappointing. Again, it's basically a takeout spot and one for KFT admirers like us. We will come back only for that reason the next time we're around.

Two persons only seemed understaffed for near full menu service and bar. No bus person, kitchen help, runner, or dish washer seen. Menu Asian fusion for lack of better term. Ordered scallion pancakes and spicy spring rolls. Service slow.... After ordering. Pancakes are one of my favorite snacks. Order portion size was large for appetizer. Scallion pancakes should be chewy with a flakey crust, savory with an onion punch from the scallions. These were chewy with no flakiness at all. Sort of like a flour tortilla with onion in the mix. The dip was like extra salty soy sauce spiked with raw ginger, strong and almost inedible. Then about five minutes later spring rolls arrived. Piping hot then down hill. First impression,, over cooked and greasy. Did not appear to have been drained. two small puddles of oil in dish below rolls. Sort of cross between lumpia and cha gio with appeal of neither. Noodles and meat wrapped together and fried. Favors muddled and greasy. Dipping sauce not much either. As a person who has sat through many food handlers permit classes. I witnessed a no-no with the waitress. Concerning.... It appears that disjointed service front to back needs improvement.
