    Chicken w/ Cashew nuts

The hot and sour soup here is legit. It has a great viscosity to it, and packs a decent kick. I liked the variety of ingredients in it, and it was a great way to start off my meal. The crisp topping that came with it tasted a tad stale. I got the beef chow fun. The beef was nice and tender, but that's pretty much where the good stuff ends. The noodles were one big soft, soggy mess. It almost breaks apart when I lift it up with chopsticks and comes up in chunks. It also has snow peas and celery in it... Which is different. Also got the chicken w/ cashews. The chicken is battered... And soggy. It was kind of an off putting texture. The Veggies were nice and crisp. Not much else I can say about it. I don't think I'd come back here again, unless I was in the mood for hot & sour soup. Food doesn't seem promising at all.

The food here is very bland and unflavorful. We spent almost $50 on food for my family, since we were craving Chinese and this place had such high reviews for a takeout place. We ordered crab Rangoon, spring rolls, Orange chicken, general tso chicken, pork fried rice, and their beef pan-fried noodles. The Rangoon was fried so hard it cut the roof of my mouth, and the filling was very bland. The spring rolls tasted old. The orange chicken had zero orange flavor, too much honey, and the chunks of orange peel were very hard to chew. The general tso was not spicy at all, and the saice was very bland. The beef pan-fried noodles were very chewy and felt like styrofoam in your mouth, and was all vegetables with maybe four or five strips of beef. The only good thing was their pork fried rice. That was delicious, so we kind of had to ration out our portions since everything else sucked. I don't know why these reviews are so high. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because their portion sizes are large, especially their pieces of chicken.

    Really nice prices

Decent take out. Portions are huge. We only had one night left in Williamsburg and had to leave lots of leftovers. Very friendly staff.

I enjoyed eating at Peter Chang. Not to be confused with PF Chang's (totally different places). The…read morerestaurant is no frills, straightforward service with a simple interior. It has a pretty unique selection of dishes not commonly offered in most Chinese takeout places. I consider their offerings more authentic. The serving sizes are huge and can be eaten family style with friends and family! There is a distinct aftertaste that is similar across the dishes we ordered. I'm assuming it's from the oil or base they use in their dishes. But it's not enough to deter me from trying their other food items! Will definitely be coming back! :)

Peter Chang (Williamsburg)…read more GOOD: mixed meat Mei fun was excellent. Service was good and friendly. Prices are reasonable (but*) BAD: The pork fried dumplings needed a longer fry. They only appeared to touch the frying pan for barely a minute. They had a steamed, flimsy texture, and I was going for that nice crust, which separates a pan-fried dumpling from a steamed dumpling. My server was very good but the kitchen was very slow tonight, it took almost another twenty-five minutes to get the entree out after the appetizer, and the restaurant was only moderately busy at best. The table next to me also had to wait for every course. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. Even the dumplings that were under fried had good flavor. *Please be aware, which came as a shock to me, that the restaurants on that particular street are subject to a 12%to 13% percent sales tax, which was really off putting. I would still go back to Peter Chang's but probably another location because of the tax and the slow kitchen.

The buffet is fine, but the real reason to go here is the Mongolian grill station. If you've never…read morehad that, definitely give it a try! Grab a bowl, fill it with whatever you want from the noodles, veggies, and meats. Then slide around to the mix-your-own sauce section, and scoop whatever combo of flavors you might want (use more than you think, don't skimp!). Hand it off to the grillmaster, they'll cook it all up real quickly, and off you go with screaming hot and fresh saute. We're partial to lots of garlic and ginger water, a little bit of Mongolian sauce, and the spicy herb, but all up to you! For the rest of the buffet, I mean, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet in a smallish town. A lot depends on how busy it happens to be, and how quickly the food in the chafing pans is turning over. If it's slow and stuff sits, meh. If it's busier and/or you pick from the items that are fresher, pretty decent. Seriously though, the Mongolian grill section alone is worth the price of admission.

This was fresh, plentiful and clean. There is a Mongolian grill, (which means you put all the fresh vegetables, meats and sauces into a bowl and they grill them up for you), a huge Chinese "typical" buffet with so many rice choices and if that's not enough a sushi chef serving up sushi. There was no way to try it all. The best part....The price was only $14.99 for lunch. Unbelievable!! This is going to be my go to spot if only for the Mongolian station alone. Do not run from this fabulous buffet. FYI... drinks are not included.

We ordered the house fried rice (tons of meat!), fried dumplings, crab Rangoon, fried shrimp appetizer, spicy general tsos combination, egg drop soup, roast pork chow fun, and the donuts for our family. I have only ever had consistent excellence in Chinese at one place in PA. Oh well, here I am ona very hot Friday and I just couldn't work up the energy to think of cooking something let alone actually turning the stove on. I thought why not give this place another go? One day I will learn. Once again this is a review of delivery, I did not eat in. The food arrived barely warm, so I know that it was cooked right away, just not picked up promptly. Also, the order was wrong, they gave me a regular egg roll instead.if the spring roll. The General Tsonchicken was these MASSIVE chunks of chicken in a not spicy sauce. Sigh Maybe one day I can find decent Chinese for that craving. This isn't it.
