    86. Honey Chicken This item is very plain.

This item is very plain and dry. Barely any sauce or flavor. I was expecting sticky, sweet honey sauce glazed naked chicken tidbits, maybe with some veggies. Did not realize it was basically just breaded like sweet and sour chicken which I dislike. But okay, never mind that. Decided to stay open minded upon realizing what the dish actually is/how it looks. When I bit into it, I just tasted bread. The breaded part makes up the entire dish, very little chicken inside the breading. I rate this a 2/10 because it's lacking flavor and CHICKEN even though it's called "honey CHICKEN". That's what $12.00 gets you, I guess. I should've just went to chipotle for all this trouble. Also I had the fried scallops which are also breaded and dry, but cost $7.00. 4/10, not as bad as the chicken, certainly still not great. I would've loved to taste more flavor and instead of this "fried everything".

the order was ready upon picking up but the 'fried rice' was just yellow rice and the food was awful besides the crab rations. Panda Express is WAY better. Will not order again.

Was in the area for work just decided to order from somewhere for a quick bite. Honestly was pretty disappointed when I opened up the bag and saw this. The pieces are so big, and some have extra fat on them. It wouldn't hurt to chop the pieces in half or more. The best part was prolly the white rice soaking up the juices. Only ate about half before throwing away. I'll make sure to not pick up from here if I'm ever in the area again.

    10. Szechuan Shrimp

The food was fresh and ready in minutes. For a take out only Chinese restaurant this one is the best in Williamsburg. Not greasy like other places. I got the Szechuan shrimp combo and requested extra spice. The spice level was perfect and the price of $14 for the combo with the wonton soup was great.

It has a pretty unique selection of dishes not commonly offered in most Chinese takeout places. I consider their offerings more authentic. The serving sizes are huge and can be eaten family style with friends and family! There is a distinct aftertaste that is similar across the dishes we ordered. I'm assuming it's from the oil or base they use in their dishes. But it's not enough to deter me from trying their other food items! Will definitely be coming back! :)

They only appeared to touch the frying pan for barely a minute. They had a steamed, flimsy texture, and I was going for that nice crust, which separates a pan-fried dumpling from a steamed dumpling. My server was very good but the kitchen was very slow tonight, it took almost another twenty-five minutes to get the entree out after the appetizer, and the restaurant was only moderately busy at best. The table next to me also had to wait for every course. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. Even the dumplings that were under fried had good flavor. *Please be aware, which came as a shock to me, that the restaurants on that particular street are subject to a 12%to 13% percent sales tax, which was really off putting. I would still go back to Peter Chang's but probably another location because of the tax and the slow kitchen.

The buffet is fine, but the real reason to go here is the Mongolian grill station. If you've never…read morehad that, definitely give it a try! Grab a bowl, fill it with whatever you want from the noodles, veggies, and meats. Then slide around to the mix-your-own sauce section, and scoop whatever combo of flavors you might want (use more than you think, don't skimp!). Hand it off to the grillmaster, they'll cook it all up real quickly, and off you go with screaming hot and fresh saute. We're partial to lots of garlic and ginger water, a little bit of Mongolian sauce, and the spicy herb, but all up to you! For the rest of the buffet, I mean, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet in a smallish town. A lot depends on how busy it happens to be, and how quickly the food in the chafing pans is turning over. If it's slow and stuff sits, meh. If it's busier and/or you pick from the items that are fresher, pretty decent. Seriously though, the Mongolian grill section alone is worth the price of admission.

This was fresh, plentiful and clean. There is a Mongolian grill, (which means you put all the fresh vegetables, meats and sauces into a bowl and they grill them up for you), a huge Chinese "typical" buffet with so many rice choices and if that's not enough a sushi chef serving up sushi. There was no way to try it all. The best part....The price was only $14.99 for lunch. Unbelievable!! This is going to be my go to spot if only for the Mongolian station alone. Do not run from this fabulous buffet. FYI... drinks are not included.
