Also the portion size for $20 was super small. Also the appetizer platter was not that great either. This is our third time eating here and we have not been disappointed. We ate here on the evening of August 26th 2025 . We had a hit of a time crunch to be at a nearby theater so we were there when they opened for the evening. The service was very good and the decorations are eclectic but well appointed. The appetizer of Fried Shrimp won ton was delicious and the sauce was light but tasty. We both ordered one of the fried rice meals with my wife choosing the pineapple Chicken combo and I had the Beef fried rice with lemongrass. My only issue was the beef rice was a bit dry and I could have used a little soy with my meal. read more

A fantastic place if you want to get Thai food for dinner or lunch. I've been for both lunch and dinner and both experiences were great. For dinner, we got a variety to try with a friend who was a stranger to Thai food. She got the fried rice and loved it. My go-to dish is red curry with pork, which I ordered hot the first time (was not hot enough for me) and Thai hot the second time (nice amount of spice). If you enjoy spicy food and still being able to taste all the different flavors, Thai hot might be the right choice for you. Both times, our server was friendly, fast and attentive, and the restaurant was very clean. Around lunchtime it can be quite quiet. I got the mango sticky rice to go and it traveled well, which is good for when you prefer time between dinner and dessert. I look forward to coming back. read more

If you're looking for a good Thai restaurant in Williamsburg with excellent food, white table cloths, and a relaxed atmosphere, Aticha is the place to go. Aticha has a good size and well curated menu that offers traditional dishes with many choices as well as some specialty entrees. You can request spice to the level of your liking. Portions are of a good size, and many of guests took home some of their good. We enjoyed ours so much and weren't rushed to leave, so we finished every bite! During this visit, we enjoyed the steamed dumplings appetizer, which comes with four delicate and flavorful dumplings and their house soy with garlic sauce. We also enjoyed the fried rice with chicken. We added extra vegetables for $3 because we love vegetables. We also had the Red Curry with Pork and the Chicken Garlic Carrots and Broccoli dishes. All were excellent. For beverages, we each enjoyed a glass of wine. The Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc was especially refreshing. We finished dinner with the Mango and Rice dessert, which we did get to go. It was beautifully prepared and very tasty! Prices were higher than less formal Thai restaurants, and we felt the meal and dining experience were worth the extra cost. It's easy to see why Aticha is a 2024 Best of Coastal Virginia winner. The ambiance and service from start to finish was professional, inviting, and perfect for a low key date night, or a fun girls night. The Thai Iced Tea is amazing. There's no cheating with the fresh ingredients that are used. We had the steamed dumpling for an appetizer. It was tender, flavorful, and fresh. The garlic soy sauce was a perfect tangy compliment to the dumpling. I had the chicken pad Thai, and my partner had the Pad See Ew. My pad Thai was cooked perfectly. The noodles were tender but not overcooked, and same for the chicken. My partner got their meal Thai hot and it was on par with the level of spice described in the menu. His chicken was perfectly marinated and cooked. We did not order wine but the selection was pretty good and mid shelf. We can't wait to come back! read more

What a great find in Williamsburg. The place is in a town center with lots of other retailers and restaurants. We were there on Sunday evening and it's wasn't crowded at all. The staff was super friendly and seemed like it was a family. The server was so nice. We had the app combo and everything tasted great. My wife had the spicy fried shrimp. They were huge and fried very well. The sauce that came with them took the meal over the top. I had a basil and duck special with eggplant. This was a huge breaded and lightly fried duck breast over a super flavorful vegetable and sauce. It was excellent. We will definitely be back there. read more

I find Aticha's food and service to be consistently very good. I had the Massamun curry with extra crispy tofu and my companion had the Pad See Ew both were excellent. Second time ordering takeaway food here. My first time I ordered Pad Thai medium spicy which didn't taste at all spicy. This time I ordered another Pad Thai with Thai Hot which only tasted a smidgen spicier than medium. Having been to Thailand myself, I was expecting the Pad Thai to be spicier. The Pad Thai is good, but it is not what I am expecting. Appetizer + entree will cost you around $30 which in my opinion is a little much. Nothing about the food screams $30. In the end, I am in search of a different Thai restaurant in Williamsburg area that will spice their food and is worth the price. Don't think I'll be a back to Aticha :( read more

I can't say enough good things! I try to stay gluten free (not celiac) and they do such a good job accommodating this. Anything on their menu that is not fried can be made GF. My favorite way to order is calling and it's so nice to talk to a real person, rather than navigating takeout apps and fees. While they are a little on the pricier side, everything is such good quality, I don't mind paying a little bit more for some great food and good sized portions. read more

The waiter was knowledgeable, to what I was asking. The only complaint was a loud waitress/manager going on about her vacation, I learned more about this woman in the hour that we where there, than I cared to know. Food was average but some items were good . First of all, the service was actually pretty good . They weee closing at 10 pm and we went about 9, but they didn't hurry us out . Lots of space to sit inside and liked the ambience. To start with we had Thai tea and it was very very average. Not much creamy and it was t sweet. The starters were good - spring rolls and tofu one. Chicken satay was average . For main dish - we did drunken noodle and it was awesomeeeee. Thai red curry too was superb . Thai rice was ok . Once again the chicken cilantro item was very average . I visited Aticha Thai Cuisine Sunday evening for a family dinner; we were a party of five and were seated right away. The dining areas are relatively small, but they make excellent use of the space and we didn't feel cramped, even though the restaurant was pretty busy. The space has some floral/plant decorations and a few Thailand-inspired pieces, but the decor is otherwise pretty minimalist. Our server was very attentive, and assisted our party with determining what spice level we should order for each dish. I ordered Thai Tea to drink and Pad Thai with chicken for my entree. My other family members ordered either chicken fried rice or pineapple fried rice (with chicken added). Everyone enjoyed their food and we had no complaints. The pad Thai was flavorful, and just a little spicy, which is what I asked for. The Thai iced tea was pretty average but still refreshing. A group of us (7) went to lunch today. They were very accommodating with the last minute addition. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly server, and seated immediately. The lunch specials sounded very appealing in the way that the server described the menu items. I had the chicken cashew dish and it was very delicious. The service was friendly and quick, the portions perfectly sized. When we asked for separate checks, there were no complaints or grumbling. Thai food can be hit or miss but this Gem did NOT MISS the mark!!! They nailed it! Basil fried rice with shrimp Egg rolls I can not recall the other dish but it was tasty. No food was left for leftovers. Staff was nice and I now know they use Skippy peanut butter to make their peanut sauce. read more

The thai tea and spring rolls was our saving grace because the pad see ew left nothing to write home about. Maybe it was us to blame, maybe not? You decide. We ordered a beef pad see ew to split between my husband and I. We asked whether they use chinese or regular broccoli - they said regular broccoli - to which we said no thank you, can you replace that with onions please. They said sure, no prob! We were served our Thai tea's first - good, not too sweet. Spring rolls came next - fresh and crunchy! Great presentation as well. Then came our main dish and it just wasnt good. The beef was rubbery, not seared properly - it was giving boiled/steamed beef texture. The egg was also very over powering in the dish. We have had pad see ew many times and have never had the egg taste so bad? It's hard to explain but the whole dish just smelled like eggs. The brocoli may have made a difference but again - I dont agree that american brocoli should be used in this dish. read more

Got some Thai food to go following a full day at Busch Gardens. We got the Tom Yum Gai soup with chicken, Pad Thai with tofu, and House Fried Rice with beef. The soup was so flavorful and was the best part of the meal. There was nothing special about the Pad Thai, and was actually kind of bland tasting. As for the House Fried Rice, it was pretty good. One of the best Thai restaurants I've ever visited. Only snapped a pic of the amazing fresh rolls, but we also got Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. Everything was fresh and vibrant.
