Peter Changs is a surprise waiting for you in Williamsburg. The staff are exceptionally attentive and will gladly help you make the best dining choices. This isn't your run of the mill prepackaged Chinese restaurant, they make authentic Chinese and dishes that break your perception of what American Chinese restaurants can be. I had the crispy pork skin, fish and cilantro soup, and the Szechuan hot pot. All of it was amazing. The restaurant it self isn't anything fancy but the food makes up for it. Do yourself a favor and give it a try

While staying in Williamsburg recently I came here to try this location, since I've tried all the others where I've stayed in the past. The menu here is probably one of the more complete menus I've seen at a Peter Chang location, with all the typical items at his restaurants, as well as many more items. The place is pretty large inside and when I got there on a Sunday soon after they opened for the day, I was the first customer and the only one for a few mins, then the customers came and soon the parking lot was full. Service was friendly and fast. The food tasted pretty good. It wasn't exactly what I wished for, but it was still a LOT better than any American style Chinese restaurant. The heat level was decent as well, though I didn't sweat as much as I typically do when eating at Peter Changs. Overall, definitely decent... I'd come back, I'd just try a different set of entrées next time.

We wanted to try Peter Chang because we heard that the Fried Rice but we didn't just stop at ordering the fried rice we ordered crispy pork belly Dan Dan noodles and the beef with garlic sauce. Our waiter was super friendly but the food was super clean and reminded be of an upscale Panda Express the building itself was wide and spacious overall the best bite was the soup dumplings honestly I don't think my taste buds are used to authentic.

Lunch menu available M-F 11am-3pm only

Today was the WORST service ever!!! Our food was cold when it arrived on the table and it took 40 minutes and they weren't even very busy!! She kept forgetting items like the crispy noodles appetizer, eggrolls and rice. We had to ask each time for items. We are NEVER going back again!!!

Came here based off the reviews looking for some good Chinese food in the area. Ambiance is casual and laid back. Waiter was very friendly. Their takeout menus are used for ordering when dining in. I came in for a late dinner and reviewing the menu I saw something off the lunch menu that I wanted. They are ok with you ordering off the lunch menu for dinner. While the food was ok, I feel it lacked seasoning. The General Taos chicken barely had any kick to it. All in all it was an ok place for a quick meal.

Pork Belly

Very good chicken fried rice. The flavor was spot on, the rice was fresh with just the right amount of diced onions. That was my favorite dish. The pork belly was good. Mapo Tofu was pretty spicy. Delicious! The restaurant was immaculate too. Bathrooms were spotless.

So much delicious food

We had a party of 13 they let us put two of the big round tables together and we ordered a bunch of food and ate family style. It was a wonderful experience. All the food was amazing. Will definitely do this again.

Got delivery, Orange chicken, veggie lomein and general Tso chicken. Lomein was a tad dry but the food all came quickly and was super hot.

If there's a competition for the best Thai restaurant on the peninsula, they would be in the top 5…read more It has a great atmosphere and decor with traditional Thai vibes. The place is clean, and there's plenty of parking. The beef curry is rich with spicy flavors that are balanced and not overwhelming. The orange chicken features large, juicy pieces with a wonderfully citrusy taste. The pad thai was the highlight of the evening, offering a delicious and complex flavor profile with a clean finish. One suggestion: I should have asked for a higher spice level, at least level 2. The service was very friendly and welcoming. This place is a real gem near the College of William & Mary and will become our go-to Thai spot whenever we visit. It's simply the best!

All the noodle and rice entrees come out a very big size, honestly enough to share an entree between two people because the 4 of us had leftovers. I had the red curry special pad thai which I recommend trying as opposed to the regular pad thai. One-two of our dishes was actually messed up on protein- chicken instead of beef and the combination fried rice had only 1 shrimp. They give a lot of meat (chicken) for less premium meat options but for seafood options like shrimp you don't get that many. Other than that I would recommend this spot for thai cuisine.

Why is Chinese food so hit miss? You can go to the same restaurant, different times in different…read moredays and come away with 3 different reviews of the food. I have only ever had consistent excellence in Chinese at one place in PA. Oh well, here I am ona very hot Friday and I just couldn't work up the energy to think of cooking something let alone actually turning the stove on. I thought why not give this place another go? One day I will learn. Once again this is a review of delivery, I did not eat in. The food arrived barely warm, so I know that it was cooked right away, just not picked up promptly. Also, the order was wrong, they gave me a regular egg roll instead.if the spring roll. The General Tsonchicken was these MASSIVE chunks of chicken in a not spicy sauce. Sigh Maybe one day I can find decent Chinese for that craving. This isn't it.

We ordered the house fried rice (tons of meat!), fried dumplings, crab Rangoon, fried shrimp appetizer, spicy general tsos combination, egg drop soup, roast pork chow fun, and the donuts for our family. It was a ton of food, and all of the dishes were great! The restaurant is in a strip mall, doesn't have any inside seating so you will need to take to go. Awesome find!
