I ordered two lunch special Gen Tso Chicken and a large hot & sour soup. The soup was ordered separately since the lunch special did not come with soup. The chicken and rice was just ok, the meat itself was non-existent or maybe just over cooked to a crisped. Nonetheless, it wasn't the normal Gen Tso chicken I'm accustomed to, more of on the orange chicken and there's no bits of broccoli. However, the hot & sour soup was on point. This place is just ok for a quick bite, but I can't imagine ordering a full Gen Tso chicken. A glimpse from the dining area the kitchen looks clean. read more

We usually order carry out from another Chinese place close by this one but they were closed today (the day before Memorial Day) so I checked Yelp for somewhere else and found this one. We haven't ordered from here before but decided to roll the dice because we all really wanted Chinese tonight. I'm glad we did. We ordered $50 worth of food and called in the order ahead of time and picked it up 15 minutes later. The staff was friendly and courteous and still using Covid precautions. Absolutely love this place. We live in Gloucester and turned back around at Fort Eustis to drive back to order from here. The teriyaki chicken is so good I ate 1/2 of my husband food before we got home. I would advise you to order two of those if you want them, they are that good. But you only get 2. Their fried chicken is my favorite. The eggrolls are different than normal but taste good as well. It's on the way home from my husband and I have made his stop there and bring me food on the way home. read more

The gen tso tofu is really wonderful. Huge portion, definitely big enough for two! Also have had the garlic broccoli, which was also good. The vegetable fried rice is vegetarian as is the lo mein. A little to quick and easy, they forgot to put more than 2 shrimp in the shrimp roll, chicken had more breading and sauce then chicken and chicken and broccoli had processed chicken. I have been looking for good chinese take out for a year now. This is not the place. I don't like giving bad reviews but could only give this one 1 star. read more

I work around the corner from Dragon City and decided to try it. Ordered chicken teriyaki and veg fried rice. My co worker picked up my order and brought it back to the job. I noticed they gave me pork fried rice instead of veggie fried rice. I noticed also they gave me 2 orders of chicken teriyaki when I only wanted 1 order. I see why lunch was so expensive!! Horrible experience at this place. .... got there shortly after they are scheduled to open and the place was closed. .......I waited a few minutes. ....Looking for another Chinese take out. A few minutes later a guy did show up so I went in and ordered. I told him THREE times no broccoli in my meals. ...g guess what was in my meals? The lunch combos come with no soup or egg roll.... it comes with rice and a can of soda. Guess what I did not come home with.... The sodas! The chicken in my Garlic Chicken was rubbery and tasted and looked more like chicken skin. I did order soup separately. ...Hot n Sour.... it was not very good. ...a far cry from the awesome Hot n Sour soup at Hong Kong.....which I would gone to. ... But they were closed for the holiday.
