Excellent food, great prices and fast service. It is our go to Chinese food spot in Hampton.

My wife and I have ordered food from here a bunch of times, but today her food was not very good. Our order consisted of a large Beef and Broccoli with white rice, 4 extra egg rolls, a combination plate of Bourbon Chicken with fried rice. My wife's Beef and Broccoli, the "beef" was tasted slimy to her and the egg rolls did not taste like they were completely done in the middle. They were hot, just did not taste like they usually do. I sat and waited while it was being cooked and maybe they rushed it. Just not sure. I am not ready to give up on this place, but if my order gets screwed up again, I will drop it like a hot potato and go somewhere else. read more

This is by far our favorite Chinese food restaurant. We love it. The only dislike is that they are now closed on Sundays

Good prices. Good food (not like "go out if your way" great). Wasn't bad by any stretch. For the most part it seems like any other Chinese restaurant out there but I would definitely go again. Staff was very sweet, which is such a plus and makes me want to hit them up again just for the sake of keeping them going- They have been there for well over 25 years (I can't speak on the ownership specifically but I know that we used to go to Number 1 kitchen when I was 17 and I'm 41 now). The fact that they survived COVID (or are currently surviving COVID) says a lot. These are my only other points to mention: -- The "crunchies" (that's what I call them bc I don't know the technical term) that came with the won ton soup are not the thinner house fried ones. They are pre-packaged and thicker and brought in from elsewhere. Again, food was definitely worth what we paid, but I do like the stupid greasy house fried won ton skins to go in the soup that' contributes that little sheen that floats on the top of the soup. Shame on me lol. --The bourbon chicken is not like Good Fortune (for those who know Good Fortune). Granted we went to Good Fortune in Willow Oaks Shopping Center for well over 20 years until the new owners took over recently, but it used to be that at GF, the bourbon chicken was this wonderful dark meat chicken in the syrupy bourbon sauce. And that was what was expected. Kind of like when you get the bbq ribs, it's just ooey goey ribs and the sauce but this was different. This bourbon chicken came in a decent sauce but it was also in a container with peppers and onions. The family rebelled. If you like peppers and onions it tasted fine, it's just not the Good Fortune version (again- for those of you that have been here in Fox Hill for forever). -- I ordered lemon chicken and they don't have that so the lady advised that they do pineapple so I opted in. It's not like the usual chicken (used to be tempura) and it's was actually done Japanese katsu style. So breaded In Panko and fried. It was very good but nowhere near what I expected. Still delicious. -- When I ordered my pineapple chicken I ordered it with fried rice instead of white rice and it was literally rice fried in soy sauce with nothing in it. It wasn't bad but I'm so used to pork fried rice or veg fried rice that I was surprised there was nothing in the fried rice. To be fair, maybe I ordered wrong but all was good. -- I ordered extra sauces and condiments and they did not skimp (which is wonderful bc condiments can make or break a meal- condiments are life!) All in all, a great place to go if you are looking to have a reasonably priced, decent, and good portioned Chinese meal. Customer service was on point, food was ready quick, and nothing disappointed. Except for the bourbon chicken but every spot does their meals differently so that's not a deal breaker now that I know. read more

Great food and service! Whenever I go, the food is hot and ready to pickup like they said. The egg drop is delicious, and I didn't eat the soup until recently. The chicken and broccoli, the Moo Goo Gai Pan...yummy! The prices are reasonable. I really like the numbering system to ensure you get your order and not someone else's. Not the best I've ever had, but over all it was just ok. The house fried rice tastes good although the some of the rice was a little undercooked. The egg rolls were good. Shrimp Lo mein and orange chicken combos were meh. read more

Love this place. One of the few chinese food restaurants that does NOT have dry chicken in its poultry dishes. Typically, I go for either beef and brocolli or chicken and brocolli at all chinese food restaurants. If it is a new place, I always go for beef since it is harder to ruin this meat. Feel safe to go for either here - it is ALL delicious. Beyond my typical dishes, I also have enjoyed shrimp with lobster sauce, general tso's chicken, and sesame chicken. All are succulent and wonderful - even as leftovers since the portion size is great. I recently moved from San Francisco where you are nickled and dimed for everything. Here your entree comes with rice with NO additional charge. Ah, I love it here! read more

Cant go wrong when it comes to chinese take-out. Very fast and i cant recall, if ever, they messed up an order. Best hot and sour soup around! Great house fried rice. But they get it right with the Genetal tsao chicken. 5 stars. read more

Purchased 2 large lo mein from this restaurant on April 1st the lo mein very dry and had no taste of lo mein sauce whatsoever not sure what the taste was but it was not a good taste when I called the restaurant to ask them if perhaps someone new was cooking or if they use something different in their lo mein they lady told me there was nothing wrong with their lo mein sauce and there would be no rectifying so I just lost my $30 with no recourse will never ever go to this hole-in-the-wall again read more

This was the first time I've order from here and the food was mediocre at best. I was craving some general tso's chicken so I Ordered from here based on the reviews. Well let me tell u, I got that one wrong. the sauce on the general tso's chicken had no flavor what so ever. Not to mention the egg roll was disappointing also. Only giving three stars because I would hate to put out of business. The people are friendly and service is good. Food was fresh and hot but had zero flavor. It's edible but not flavorful at all. Don't come here if you're looking for tasty cuisine . If you're looking for quick and hot then this is it. Taste, seek elsewhere read more

After much pressure from friends and glowing recommendations, I decided to go here. Unfortunately, they do not deliver like most other Chinese restaurants. I ordered over the phone and drove up to get my order less than 15 minutes later; they were fast and extremely polite. Your standard run of the mill Chinese fast food shop. Been coming here for a few years and So far so good. Probably the best in the fix hill area. Can usually get outta here for $5 or less for lunch. They are fast and friendly too. I recommend the chicken and broccoli. read more
