Went and picked up lunch today. We have been there a few times, food is excellent. Service is fast and reliable.

This place used to be fairly decent. The quality had gone downhill exponentially. The food is bad.

I attempted to call in an order even though my past two experiences weren't great... but I really wanted Chinese and Hong Kong was closed.The little girl sounded like she just woke up... I asked for fried rice with my chicken and broccoli... and two egg rolls. She proceeded to tell me they don't do fried rice with chicken and broccoli... I then asked her how can I get fried rice... She then tells me I would have to get a combo... She told me an egg roll comes with it... So I said ok... and add another egg roll... She then said "So you want 3 egg rolls." I said no... the one that comes with it , plus one is two... I asked again if I will be getting fried rice with my chicken and broccoli because she never really made it clear that I would get chicken and broccoli with fried rice... and she told me it would be pork fried rice. I didn't want pork. I got so frustrated and she was so nonchalant I canceled my order and hung up on her. read more

Went one night randomly on a Saturday night after attending church with my boyfriend. He ordered sesame chicken and vegetable fried rice. I ordered fried chicken and vegetable fried rice (originally with extra bean sprouts and onions but was called back and told they don't have bean sprouts AFTER we got off the phone. The rice instead came with edamame)... I didn't got inside but my boyfriend did. From the car I could see it was small and looked like your average Chinese restaurant. He along with another person were waiting... long story short, my boyfriend didn't eat his sesame chicken because he said the sauce looked weird. It was "solid" which I thought was due to it being cold but it was actually a bit above room temperature. I tried a piece to convince him it was fine but he still decided not to. It was decent, the chicken tasted reheated and was chewy. My dish was decent as well, the chicken was quite bland and didn't look the cleanest. Rice was basic. Overall rating 5/10. Probably wouldn't eat here again. read more

I eat here whenever I'm working in Windsor. I Love their Lo Mein. They have an awesome picture of a boat on the wall. The lady that is usually working there is very nice, and if you come in often enough she'll already know what you want. read more

Never having eaten here before, we checked YELP and ate here. Orders are taken at the counter and there was no table service. There were no others seated during our meal but there were a number of takeout customers . Both meals were delicious. This small, clean restaurant was obviously meant to be a takeout. The Asian staff was friendly. We will eat here again because we really liked the food. read more

I've only eaten here once. However, I ordered two orders of Chicken & Broccoli....too much broccoli not enough chicken...and the chicken tastes a little like dish soap. I don't like giving people bad reviews, but I wouldn't eat there again. read more

Went here for lunch with my SO on a Sunday. When we attempted to order, we were informed their lunch specials are not available on the weekend. There was no signage that indicated this. They also don't appear to use AC as it is rather stuffy inside. As we were traveling, we wanted to sit and eat for a break. The lady at the counter was polite. The food wasn't great. My boyfriend ordered "Mei Fun" because the lady misinterpreted his request about "wide" noodles. His chicken was dry, bland, and rubbery--it was pretty much inedible. Shun Xing restaurant is my favorite place for Chinese food in Suffolk and Isle of Wight counties. The food quality is consistently good, I've not had a bad meal there yet, and I've been eating there for 2 and a half years. The two daughters are always ready with a smile, and love to talk to the clients. I always look forward to seeing them. read more
