To be honest, there are not a ton of places in Suffok that have Chinese food at all, but in the downtown area this is the only place that I like to order from. food is consistently good and fast. They run specials every week and it's a family run business.if you want even quicker service call ahead or order online. This is my family's favorite Chinese spot in Suffolk. We always do a carry out order since their inside is closed off. They have two tables when you walk in but I'm assuming they are for waiting for take out orders and not for dining in. The food is always ready when we come to pick it up. We typically get general tso, sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, or kung pao chicken with a side order of crab rangoons, egg rolls, and sometimes pork fried rice. We always enjoy our food and usually don't have any complaints. If you want quick service and good Chinese food, check this place out. They are definitely not aesthetically pleasing when it comes to looks of the restaurant, but the food is worth it. read more

Food was basically the same as all the other strip center take out places. However, the lady on the phone was curt and almost rude. The check out process was disorganized and no condiments were available or offered. I was advised by a lady in line to check my bag before leaving! There were only 2 chairs available for anyone waiting and the whole pandemic vibe was still strong there. They had a separation wall up that covered the picture menu from above. It was generally loud, crowded disorganized and the cleanliness was questionable. Unfortunately, the order taker on the phone was barely understandable, and quite abrupt. Great Wall is a good Chinese food spot. They have most of the standard options you'd expect to find and their prices are reasonable. If you call ahead, they can get your order ready in about 20 minutes. Food- I enjoy their wonton soup as well as most of their fried appetizers. I do wish they would change their crispy noodles that go with their soup as they generally taste stale. The lunch and dinner entrees are filling and they have a number of specials that come with some extra sides or fried rice and can actually save you some money. The sesame chicken, though a bit more expensive, is very good! Environment- I've eaten inside and felt like the decor was acceptable. The place is clean, the bathroom is clean, and the employees are always friendly. Parking is easy as the lot is pretty big. Great Wall is located right next to food lion and subway. read more

I called at 950 pm. Even though they close at 1030 pm I arrived at 10 pm. All Entries were cooked right & fried rice with no pork. All the ingredients were fresh, with no MSG. Even the soups were done right. Yes friendly lady. Good food. Will return soon. read more

I do not even like giving these people one star. I am not a big Chinese fan but my daughter loves it. Last night she found a worm in her food. She went back up there and quietly (they had other customers) told them. They acted like she was an idiot and told her it was burnt cabbage. To my knowledge cabbage does not have a head and those little nubs some green worms have. They refused to give her money back. They also overcharged her. The food with tax was $12, she was charged $16. So, if you like bugs in your food and unexplainable upcharges on your bill then you will love this place. This is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Suffolk. Their food is always made well and tastes wonderful. I especially love that they do NOT use MSG. Their diet menu contains my favorite dish. Chicken and steamed vegetables with spicy hunan sauce. You have a customer for life :) read more

We wanted to try this place for some time. Today we were close and went and ordered the lunch specials. The fried rice was not fried and tasted like ashes, my chicken Lo mein had 2 small cubes of chicken and the noodles were sweet tasting. My boyfriend always gets the same thing in every chinese restaurant we visit: bbq pork. We went up and asked for a refund and what we got was alot of yelling and we were told that our food was prepared correctly, and no one ever complains. We did not get a refund and did not get lunch. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!! I live in this city and have ordered from this restaurant many times, so my review is not based on 1 visit. The food is okay except everything you order seems to smell and taste like fish or seafood. Their ability to get your order 100% correct is pretty much non-existent if you order multiple items, something has always been missing from my order(s). However, they don't forget to charge you for EVERYTHING you order, and in my case they even overcharge you by double ringing smaller items or charges. They don't give you an itemized receipt for your purchase and all aspects of customer service are handled by pre-teen age children if you have any issues. When my last order was found to be incorrect upon my arrival back at home, I called the restaurant to discuss the matter. My issue was debated around and around by a child, as I only ask to receive a credit back to my credit card for the missing items. She basically told me no way, I could either drive back across town and retrieve the missing items or it would just be my tough luck. Upon making that statement, she promptly hung up on me without even so much as saying goodbye. That was my final visit needless to say. read more
