Absolutely disgusting, tasteless food. I ordered Szechuan Beef and it had zero spice, zero flavor. The beef looked and tasted lower quality than McDonalds. I ordered a hot and sour soup. Taste was okay but it was missing the crispy noodles it says comes with an order. And their food is extremely overpriced for a Chinese takeout place. $12 for a combo meal and over $7 for a soup! For that price the food should be done if the best, not bottom of the barrel. So many better and cheaper places around. 100% avoid. read more

They have a great system set up during Covid19 takeoWe have eaten here several times since moving to the Burbage area. After adding a 4th kid to our family our eating became less frequent. My wife and I had a night out during the Covid Pandemic and decided to give Super China a shot. I gotta give mad props to this establishment for being so vigilant with being sure they sanitized and protected their customers and employees. Their makeshift divider between the kitchen and dining area was to be applauded. The divider even had well thought out "doors" to use when making a payment and receiving food. They even wiped everything down through each step of the checkout process (hand them payment and they wiped it; swipe card or handle cash and they wipe it; return receipt and wipe counter; spray Lysol over cash and counter between transactions) During this time we want to do our part in supporting local businesses and we will continue to visit this establishment because of their attention to details during these days. My jammy jam. The food is always what I'm looking for when I have a craving. I usually stick to the fried chicken wings and house special fried rice (chicken, pork and shrimp). Sometimes I'll get rib tips which are also delish. The general tso chicken is yummy and the chicken and broccoli or shrimp and broccoli are good. The eggs rolls are crispy and my husband loves the dumplings. Whenever we have a craving super China does the trick. read more

Not so super, but not bad neither. I ordered the shrimp low mein combo with the pork fried rice and an egg roll. My husband had the general chicken combo. The food was fresh and hot. My noodles were too salty and they used baby shrimp which is fine if you have more than 8. The rice was okay, a little different from other Chinese restaurants, but not necessarily in a bad way. It was tasty but it had a funny smell that I didn't care for. My husband's general chicken tasted pretty good to me. He said it was just okay to him. Also, he felt the egg roll didn't have any taste to it (he was right). I felt it was oily and there was very little seasoning. On a different note, while cooking my food the cook went to the bathroom with his head buried in his cell phone (never looked up). A minute later he came out the same way he walked in. All I know is the place is really small and I didn't hear any hand washing going on and he went right back to cooking. Yuck!!! Now I don't have proof, but if you were there you would have thought the same thing. Another customer and I looked at each other at the same time. So i wasn't a fan of this place too much. The egg foo young was okay but gravy had a burnt taste (my daughter didn't like it), the crab Rangoon was overly cooked and you had to pull the bedding off before you ate it i got the Szechuan which was probably the best thing ordered. But the rest of the food was not that impressive. They were definitely covid-19 proof but that's about it. read more

While waiting for my order, I noticed that there was a table with condiments and plastic ware, the plastic ware was not individually wrapped. I noticed that every customer prior to me picked up more plastic ware than they actually needed and dropped the others back in the container. When my order was ready I asked for a clean spoon and the woman who waited on me said they're all clean and I told her what I witnessed and as she was using her ungloved hand to get me one out of a box she said if you want it clean then you need to stay home! Wow what great Chinese food! Yum! We are on the lookout for a new Chinese restaurant to go to since the one we used to venture to had recently changed cooks IMO (Food is super salty now and just not as good as it used to be). But this place is pretty nice. I always test out with a shrimp with lobster sauce dish to see if they can cook that well...which they did. Yay! Their steamed dumplings are AMAZING. Prices seem to be just like others in the area. Food is fast but unfortunately I don't believe they do delivery. If they do I will update my review. After coming here 3 times I'm happy to give them 5 stars :) read more

This was the first Chinese place we tried out here in Virginia...and we're not a fan. We ordered the orange chicken, which was recommended to us by the staff, and the garlic chicken. Both dishes just didn't have much flavor to them. Although, the broccoli in both dishes was cooked perfectly. The fried rice with the orange chicken wasn't tasty either - bad oily taste. The egg rolls also had a bad oil flavor and not much flavor with the egg roll filling. Can't say we'll be giving this place a second chance. Was really excited to try Super Chine because of its high rating. I found it to be well deserved. The staff are "Super" friendly & welcoming. You can see right into their kitchen which appeared to be "Super" clean. We ordered the General Tso chicken combination plate which comes with an egg roll $7.35. We also order the Szechuan Style Chicken lunch plate (no egg roll) $4.95. I saw a sign on the counter that offered 2 lumpia for $2.49 & added that to my order as well. The food is beautiful & bountiful. The pork fried rice had a fair amount of pork in it. I'm giving it 4 stars because although the service, price, look, & quantity was good, the General Tso & Szechuan chicken was less spicy than we prefer. The General Tso breading to chicken ratio was higher than I like. The lumpia was not what I was expecting. It was more of a weird ground meat pie. Maybe I just don't know my lumpia, but I didn't like it at all. We much prefer Happy Garden which is unfortunately under rated. They're not at friendly as Super China but the taste of their recipes are more appealing to my family. read more

Standard "Number 1" type Chinese place where you order up and usually do take-out. 11 Bucks got me Won Ton soup, egg roll, Pork Fried Rice, Shrimp and Lobster Sauce and a soda. Everything was excellent, particularly the S&L where the shrimp were large, plump, and tasty. Won Ton soup was served Nuclear hot, so I actually had to eat that last. Other hits: Eat-in is paper and plastic; sometimes plastic utensils just don't work too well. Dining area was too hot and bathroom was out of commission. But otherwise, better than a $50 meal at P. By far the worst experience ever!!! If I could give them a negative 5 Stars I would. First of all the lady in the kitchen was wearing shorts and sandals. Very unprofessional! Then when we walked in we didn't even get to order because of the horrible service! We grabbed a menu and were unsure of what to order, when the rude lady came from the kitchen to take our order we were still indecisive and changed our mind a couple of times while she was writing down our order and she looked up at us, stared for a few seconds, shook her head with an attitude, rolled her eyes, dropped the pen and said "you decide" and walked away!!! Leaving us standing there! Then to top it off we had tried to use the rest room but it had an "out of order" sign on the door so we didn't use it and then we see her walk in there and use it herself!! Absolutely terrible service and very dirty and run down. The worst Chinese food restaurant of all. We are visiting the state of Virginia from the west coast and this has unfortunately left us with a bitter taste of this area. read more
