Service is always exceptional here. Pickup orders are preferable as they don't have much interior seating but as my local Chinese-American food joint, they always pull through. Through college, I worked at restaurants and every time I pickup food from this place the kitchen is spotless. This is one of the cleanest kitchens I've ever seen and I know the amount of work it takes to maintain those standards. Their fryers always look brand new and the oil is changed regularly. This is my favorite spot for a lazy day pickup meal. read more

This is not a restaurant you could eat inside. Sometimes the food takes longer than estimated, however, the food is always delicious. Best chinese food in this city. Get the tea and dilute it. Hands down, the best simple Chinese-American takeout place in town. There's nothing fancy or unique here, it's the same basic menu you find at any of these places. There are only a couple of tables, as its pretty much takeout only. What makes it stand out is the execution. They really cook this food fresh, and they cook it well. There are good size chunks of meat in the dishes, they don't cheat you with overzealous breading, or padding the dishes with cheaper veggies. Their roast pork dishes are particularly excellent in my opinion. I also am a big fan of fried sichuan won tons, which are served coated with a rich and spicy brown sauce. Any of familiar basics, beef and broccoli, General tsos chicken, lo mein, etc. they execute those dishes well. It is a true mom and pop operation. It's always the same lady answering the phone and working the counter. She's pretty amazing, never asks for a name or phone number when you call in, but somehow knows what order is yours when you walk in. Her husband is always cooking behind her, and they are a well-oiled machine. Sometimes their little son is there as well. This has to be some of the best and freshest Chinese food I have ever had. The inside is spotless and you can see everything they are cooking right in front of you. It's always the same 2 there who I assume are the owners. The lady at the front is very polite. You know the food is good when you can eat it without soy sauce!! It's always the same woman working, she's there to work, get in, get your food, and leave... no small talk here. This place is close to my house so I use it as my go to, I can't really say anything spectacular about it but I can't say anything bad just your run of the mill local Chinese spot. Hands down the best American-Chinese food joint in the area... Possibly the state... I grade a Chinese food joint specifically on a staple/ standard dish, General Tso's Chicken Combo... It's the balls! The meat doesn't taste like fried kittens, the rice is tasty, the sauce is great, and the egg roll is pretty decent. The BBQ ribs are pretty tits as well, a little odd cause they are pork ribs cut into small pieces but still pretty damn tasty!! The food is always made fresh and the people running it are very nice. This is the closest Chinese restaurant to our house, which is why we sometimes get food here. Walking distance makes it convenient, but somehow it's not quite as good as the Chinese restaurant we usually go to, even if its a little farther. That's not to say that it's bad; it's not. It's just nothing special. It's also not really for eating in. There are a few small tables, but it's mainly for sitting at while you wait for the take-out. I was craving Some awesome Chinese food tonight, but sadly was very disappointed with the quality. The duck sauce is... I don't even know what. The pork fried rice looked like someone accidentally made a vegetable batch and then threw some pork bits in there, and the crab rangoons just tasted gross. My total, according to the pricing on the menu came out to be $10 more than what it should have, but the woman couldn't speak well enough English to understand me.
