They put some real love into this food and it was ready in only 15 minutes!!! They were quick and very nice. They also accept tap to pay! My food was busting out of the container and beautifully sauced to perfection. The egg rolls WERE COOKED SO GOOOD!!! Perfectly hot and crispy! My new fave spot!

The rice was clumpy and over cooked. The egg rolls were cooked in grease that may have never been changed. I could not eat them because they were so greasy and dark. This was the 2nd chance. There will not be a third.

Hands down, the best simple Chinese-American takeout place in town. There's nothing fancy or unique here, it's the same basic menu you find at any of these places. There are only a couple of tables, as its pretty much takeout only. What makes it stand out is the execution. They really cook this food fresh, and they cook it well. There are good size chunks of meat in the dishes, they don't cheat you with overzealous breading, or padding the dishes with cheaper veggies. Their roast pork dishes are particularly excellent in my opinion. I also am a big fan of fried sichuan won tons, which are served coated with a rich and spicy brown sauce. Any of familiar basics, beef and broccoli, General tsos chicken, lo mein, etc. they execute those dishes well. It is a true mom and pop operation. It's always the same lady answering the phone and working the counter. She's pretty amazing, never asks for a name or phone number when you call in, but somehow knows what order is yours when you walk in. Her husband is always cooking behind her, and they are a well-oiled machine. Sometimes their little son is there as well. These are very nice people, who put a lot of care into their work, and turn out some excellent food. If you're looking for Chinese takeout in Bayview, you will not find better!

What Kim said is 100% right on the money. China Hut is a very good Chinese-American take out. Expect good food, that is made to order with a good price. If you don't believe me, go there, and watch them make your food. The kitchen is literally right behind the counter.

I've only been to the Chesapeake location, and I love their food, so this was my first time trying the food at the VB location. I was quickly greeted as soon as I walked in and was seated right away. I loved the clean and modern decor of the restaurant. My server was super friendly and brought over the menu. I knew I wanted the Wonton in Hot Chili Oil but I also wanted to try the Dan-Dan Noodles here, because I wasn't a fan of them at the other location, so I ordered both of those along with Salt & Peppered Prawns. The food was served fairly quickly. I started with the Wontons but there was something in the chili oil that made my mouth extremely tingly and numb. I normally get a slight tingly feeling when I eat them but this was intense. I couldn't even finish it. The Dan-Dan Noodles were incredible though! They had the perfect amount of flavor and spice. The Salt & Peppered Prawns were good, but I probably won't order them again. The flavors were great but the seasoning is only on the shells. I found myself rubbing the de-shelled shrimp on the seasoned shells to give them some flavor. I did attempt to eat them with the shells on but I wasn't a fan. You really can't go wrong at Judy's! The staff were incredible and the food is good!!! I still prefer the Chesapeake location but I'm glad I was able to stop in and try the food out at this location as well.

That was reassuring, busy is usual a good sign that the food is good. The location is great, close to the beach. The food was nicely packaged in sturdy containers and not styrofoam! We ordered orange chicken and broccoli beef. Both were tasty and fresh! Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

It is one of those things where one place might have great fried rice, one has great egg rolls, and another has great lo mein. Overall the food was good as I went with the General Tsos combo that comes with regular fried rice but for a small upcharge if you want to change the rice to pork or shrimp. To me it is still unusual as I thought ham fried rice was just a normal thing that comes with a dinner combo along with an egg roll. Not anymore. I ordered an eggroll (2 per order) to go with the meal along with a teriyaki stick. The teriyaki stick (you get 2 per order) was pretty good and not dried out to the point where it could pass for jerky. The chicken in the dinner was good and not overly breaded. It was supposedly spicy but trust me anyone could handle this spice. Good spot to quench your hankering for some American Chinese food. Parking can be a bit iffy with a few spaces in the front on the street shared with other restaurants but the same holds true for the spaces behind the building.
