Good flavor! I had the shrimp egg foo young and crab rangoon which was really good and still crispy when we made it home!!! I love that the food isn't greasy!!! Just cooked with love! The rice seemed a little bit overcooked/slightly mushy this time, but I suppose I'd rather it be over than under. Great service! (No comment on ambience as we get takeout.) Comfort food. This is my favorite chinese festaurant for take-out. I love everything that I have ever tried and I have tried almost every line item on the menu in the last 15 plus years. The food is always full of exotic flavors and cooked to perfection. The portions are always large enough to make two meals. The owner is very kind and courteous to every customer. The restaurant is always clean. The food is prepared quickly and exactly as ordered. It is a family run restaurant and they care about the community they are in. The restaurant stayed open during the entire pandemic by modifying the customer service area in an ingenious way and uograding it's delivery services. The community appreciated their dedication to their customers and wore masks as requested to allow the restaurant to comply with protocols. It was win win! It's hard to find a Chinese food place that is "good" or "decent". This place was pretty decent. I only give it a four because the fried rice has no personality, just really basic. No egg, no basic veggies. The fried dumplings are great though, and you can choose between pork, chicken or beef. And the boneless spare ribs were good too. read more

Fried chicken was burnt, pepper steak was dry and beef was tough with little gravy. Fried rice was very greasy. I was very disappointed.

The service is normally good at China Sun, but my last visit I think I got shortchanged. I ordered the Sweet and Sour shrimp (which is more expensive than the Sweet and Sour Chicken). I got seven pieces of Shrimp and all the rest was chicken (not what I ordered). I'm a little disappointed that they would not tell me that they ran out of shrimp and charge me anyway for the shrimp. read more

This place is terrible. Every time I call in a order the same lady answers the phone and say 10 minutes. 20 minutes later I stilll have to wait. She seems to have a bit of an attitude too. Places like this need to be put out of business. They forget that the money we spend is what keeps them operational. And they over charge. All I usually get is wings one shrimp fried rice. Food is good, though they forgot to put the Chicken in my szechuan chicken. Service is not so great. It is quick serve style so you don't expect much but my wife asked what was in the Hunan style chicken and the lady responded "it's Hunan chicken" when the order was ready she yelled at me from the counter "it's ready" She asked angrily if I wanted sauce, I was afraid if I answered her wrong I might take an inverted spinning turn kick to the head. Very very poor customer service from the lady at the counter, almost as if she doesn't want our services and just hands you your food like she wants you to hurry and get out of the restaurant. I went there multiple times thinking "well maybe she's just having a bad day" but came to realize that's just how this lady is. Last time I went which was the 5th time after not being greeted and feeling rushed and unwanted I got to the counter she just looked at me with a straight face and I just had to tell my little sister that we are going to eat somewhere else in the lady face and turned around and left the restaurant without ordering. I used to order from China Sun at least once a week. They literally had the best steamed dumplings I ever had. Recently I ordered the dumplings and they were different. They looked like they steamed dumplings that should be fried; they were disgusting. I ordered them one more time to see if maybe they just ran out and had to use something else. Unfortunately I was wrong they still were using rubbery, disgusting dumplings. I will never order from them again. read more

It's my go to for some comfort Chinese food- the fried rice is always good never too crisp or too mushy: the general chicken is always good, and so is the orange chicken: never too much sauce where it's like thick syrupy or watery. The food is good and you get a lot for your money but the older lady that's always there has a bad attitude and very poor customer service. Last week I ordered food for my children and I and when I asked for chopsticks and fortune cookies for my kids and she looked at me like I was disgusting. My nine year old son even said Oh My God mom why did she look at you like that. That was so rude and unnecessary especially in front of my kids. I had to explain to my son why I was treated like that and that we would never go back there again which sucks for him because he loves that place. read more

This was my first time going; however I would probably return (maybe). There were just a few concerns I had. I purposely called my order in and waited 20 minutes to pick it up to ensure it was ready when I got there. However, when I arrived it wasn't. Secondly the prices on the online menu are a dollar less than actual. So what I calculated to pay was waayyy less than what I was charged. (Please don't post prices if they are not accurate.) When I tried to explain this I was ignored. Finally part of my order was wings. There was an order on the counter uncovered that had been sitting there when I walked in. When she bagged my order I saw her put those in my bag. I asked for some fresh wings. The women kept saying they were already hot. I kept stating hot and fresh are two different things. I was concerned because I was not sure how long they had been there. The women stated they had just made them. I trusted her word and took the order. The food was ok, standard American Chinese.
