Foods are pretty good here, closes thing to NY style flavor in Portsmouth. I often order shrimp with broccoli combo, which comes with decent size shrimp. The owner and staffs are kind and friendly and with pretty fast service. Clean looking environment, and they needly packaged my orders always. I can see why they are so busy. I ordered Super Wok to go, I got the Crab Rangoon, Beef Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, Fries and Wings (Honey BBQ). The Crab Rangoon was good, nice and crispy. Beef Lo Mein ,the noodles were soft with a lot of flavors. Surprisingly the fries were seasoned well and tasted good. The Orange Chicken wasn't my favorite the sauce was not tangy like most orange chicken. The Chicken Wings was ok the sauce didn't stick and the wings weren't crispy or crunchy. This was my first time ordering food from Super Wok. After staring at the menu for a while I decided on the shrimp and broccoli combination dish with pork fried rice. The shrimp had a slight fishy taste so I will attribute that to them not being cleaned properly. The pork fried rice had a few pieces of pork in it nowhere near as much as I have seen at other Chinese food places. Overall the taste was ok. The garlic sauce was a lot sweeter than I've had at other places. My biggest complaint with the dish was there was so much broccoli in it I didn't have a lot of rice. Normally the trays are lined with rice and broccoli and whatever meat. I give it a 5 on a scale to 10. My husband ordered the pork pancit which he did enjoy and I tasted and it was really good. My son had the chicken wings and plain fried rice. Nothing special there. The egg roll that came with my dish was unappetizing. I will try a few other places in the area before I decide to eat with Super Wok again. read more

The price was very reasonable. But the food was just average. It was delivered quickly which was nice. None of the Ghent/ Norfolk Chinese locations would deliver across the river to Port Norfolk. I think they the noodles and veggies were very good, but the meat was very so so. read more

We have bought both take out and delivery from this restaurant before the fire and returned after the fire they were our new Chinese spot after our favorite had closed ...tonight we tried to order and were told no because we got a cold order and complained last delivery even though we had been buying carry out still dinner last fri ????Even at point of said bad order ,I told them we loved the food but this time was not good and I ask this question who finds it acceptable to pay for cold food ??? When you give bad service to a customer who spent a lot of money with you for long time you are supposed to appreciate them for all their business and apologize and be grateful they still want to spend their money on your food since you offered a subpar food service ...not be nasty and black list them for something your caused ! This is my favorite place to get Chinese food from! I always get their Singapore Mei Fun, crab Rangoon, and egg rolls. The Singapore Mei fun has just the right amount of heat and the veggies, meat, and egg taste amazing together. If you've never tried it, you MUST! We order a rather large order from Super Wok last Friday and we added teas to our order. We got the food in a timely manner but all three of our teas had mold in the bottom of the cups. We called them to inform them that we wanted a refund and they told us to bring the food all the way back to them when the order was a delivery in the first place. But my "cashew chicken" should have been renamed "celery chicken" because there was an over abundance of celery. My pork fried rice had way to many onions for my liking and it was dry and hard. I asked if I could just get plain fried rice with egg, no issue other than they charged me 1:00 for adding a little bit of egg. I'd understand if it was a big container of it, but it was not a big helping by any means. Although the service was friendly, the food really isn't all that great. I ordered a local favorite, sausage and rice. For their "large size" it was a little over $6. What I received was very disappointing. To me, it was small, and the sausage was cut up into very small pieces. Honestly I probably received a quarter of the sausage link and that is pretty sad. In addition, I asked for onions to be in the dish. At first, the cashier told me the cook was unable to add onions because everything is already prepped and all he has to do is heat it up. Then he later changed and said he would add the onions. What I got were raw onions. Really? You can't add another minute or two and sauté the onions over that high heat? Ok cool. It's not really a big deal because one) it wasn't for me and two) we picked the raw onions out anyways. My main issue is that for the amount of food I received for the price I paid. Let me put things in perspective: At the Chinese Restaurant I regularly go to by my house, I pay $3 for the same size and I get more meat. I will upload a photo later. I ordered the Szechuan beef with an egg roll. Best I've had in a long time. Beef was tender, vegetables cooked perfectly and not soggy, sauce was very tasty with some heat. The rice was nice and fluffy. The egg roll was delicious and not greasy. I'll be ordering here again. read more
