This is an above average Chinese takeout spot. It's in the same shopping center as Walmart st the corner of Tidewater and Little Creek. I think their fried szechuan dumplings are the highlight of their menu. The sauce that accompanies is delicious, just the right balance of sweet and spicy. They also have good sweet and sour pork/chicken. The menu has the typical items you'd expect at a neighborhood takeout place. It's run by a family, the daughter takes the orders while mom and dad cook up the orders. They're pretty efficient, and get the food out farily quickly. It's certainly nothing out of the ordinary, but it is better than most of these kind of places. read more

Our favorite Chinese restaurant was closed so we decided to try Great Wall. Not good at all. First, I enjoy most egg rolls, but the egg rolls ar Great Wall are terrible. I took one bite and threw all 4 away. It tasted like they have not changed their grease in years. The broccoli in the general Tao chicken was over cooked. If I had to guess, this restaurant is either in financial trouble or the owners are very cheap. The reason I say this is because the pork fried rice had no pork in it. The pieces were so small that we really had to look for them and the few that we found were nearly microscopic. My suggestion......don't eat here. read more

This is another place to get good Chinese takeout in Norfolk, and it's located near where I work. Their General Tso chicken and pork fried rice are delicious. The thing about this location though is that there is a little bit longer than other Chinese takeout restaurants. One time I was the only customer and I waited over a half an hour to receive my food. There is also no public restroom which is a big gripe for me. If I'm going to spend my money, let me use the bathroom. Furthermore, it's pretty good if youre in the tidewater drive area and want Chinese takeout come here and order either the General Tso chicken or the shrimp with garlic sauce. read more

This place was not impressive at all, even for it being strictly a takeout Chinese joint. The only positive was that if I paid actual "cash" I got some additional food for free. I ordered several different items off of the menu as we were getting enough food for 10 people. All five entrées that I ordered we're pretty much tasteless. This would include the beef and broccoli, General Tso's chicken, Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice, and fried wontons. None of it was very impressive at all. Personally I'm a hot mustard guy and they only had those little plastic packets You couldn't pay to get some homemade hot mustard from scratch, and some Chinese restaurants will do for you. They do not make it, when you can't get homemade hot mustard from scratch that's a good sign it might not be a very good dinner.. The one thing I can say positive about them is that food was ready exactly when I had asked for it. I will be venturing on to another Chinese restaurant the next time I am an Norfolk. read more

When I decided to order Chinese from this place I wanted to have a budget of about $15 to $20 dollars. Luckily, their menu says that they have a $10 min for delivery. When I called, and placed my order, the lady asked me if I was paying with cash or card. When I said card, she told me that it's a $20 dollar minimum. My total was already at about $17 but she told me to buy more for the sake of her made-up fee. I have asked others in my household who's ordered from here if they had to pay $20 min. And they said NO. Never had this problem until ordering here. So if you're using card and you don't intend to spend more than $20, don't order here. read more

I didn't find many reviews for this place but decided to give it a shot. Hubby and I ordered Honey Chicken, Singapore Pancit, Egg Drop Soup, Cheese Wonton (Krab Rangoon), and Tofu Home Style. Delivery was on time (about 30mins) and the food was great. The Honey Chicken was just right and the Singapore Pancit was more than enough for Dinner and Lunch the next day. I think we've found our go to Chinese place. =) read more
