This is an above average Chinese takeout spot. It's in the same shopping center as Walmart st the corner of Tidewater and Little Creek. I think their fried szechuan dumplings are the highlight of their menu. The sauce that accompanies is delicious, just the right balance of sweet and spicy. They also have good sweet and sour pork/chicken. The menu has the typical items you'd expect at a neighborhood takeout place. It's run by a family, the daughter takes the orders while mom and dad cook up the orders. They're pretty efficient, and get the food out farily quickly. It's certainly nothing out of the ordinary, but it is better than most of these kind of places.

The general tso chicken is always good here!

Ordered the general tso and it was good, better than most others I've had. Delivery was quicker than estimated and price is pretty fair

That was reassuring, busy is usual a good sign that the food is good. The location is great, close to the beach. The food was nicely packaged in sturdy containers and not styrofoam! We ordered orange chicken and broccoli beef. Both were tasty and fresh! Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

It is one of those things where one place might have great fried rice, one has great egg rolls, and another has great lo mein. Overall the food was good as I went with the General Tsos combo that comes with regular fried rice but for a small upcharge if you want to change the rice to pork or shrimp. To me it is still unusual as I thought ham fried rice was just a normal thing that comes with a dinner combo along with an egg roll. Not anymore. I ordered an eggroll (2 per order) to go with the meal along with a teriyaki stick. The teriyaki stick (you get 2 per order) was pretty good and not dried out to the point where it could pass for jerky. The chicken in the dinner was good and not overly breaded. It was supposedly spicy but trust me anyone could handle this spice. Good spot to quench your hankering for some American Chinese food. Parking can be a bit iffy with a few spaces in the front on the street shared with other restaurants but the same holds true for the spaces behind the building.

Sophia and I headed here for lunch last weekend. I came across this place years ago on Yelp but…read morenever had the time to try them out. They did close for a bit during the pandemic due to a staff shortage, but opened back up and haven't lost a beat. Local Yelpers have posted positive reviews on the food and service. Let's see how the visit went. We were immediately seated when we walked inside. They actually had a nice crowd inside which definitely had them busy. Since it's a dim sum restaurant, they came around several times offering small dishes. We declined until the very end and decided to order from their regular menu. My order was a cup of Egg Drop soup for appetizers and salted and spicy scallop, shrimp and squid. Everything was truly delicious. The soup was very hearty and full of flavor as expected. The seafood was fried perfectly and full of spices. The portion could've been a little more but nonetheless it was really good. To end our meal, we chose their shrimp balls off the dim sum plate. It was really good and flavorful. For our first time here, we were both impressed. Wonderful staff and food to back up the hype. The next time we stop by, it'll purely be items via dim sum :)

Have an understanding of what's what if you're doing the dim sum since they didn't give you a menu that describes everything. Veryyy busy on the weekends and I don't think they take reservations. There was a line when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon before they even opened! Says a lot. My favorites were the spare ribs, beef stew, a type of taro dish, and the Chinese broccoli. I do wish they had more veggie dishes on the dim sum carts. You fill up fast so choose wisely! Next time would love to either try the lobster, steamed flounder, or roast duck.

The previous two times ended up with satisfaction. Shall the 3rd stop be icing on the cake? We were seated immediately upon walking inside. It was almost half packed which was fine with us. Decor was nice all around, the staff were friendly and customers seemed happy too. You know we can't negate that type of vibe. After looking through the menu for several minutes, I decided on ordering chicken in soy sauce (half portion) with a side of white rice and Egg Drop soup which came with crispy wonton strips. Everything was delicious. It has been a while since I've had this type of soup so I couldn't pass it up. The chicken was cooked well with plenty of soy sauce marinating the meat. I took half of it home where it was plentiful. Definitely not a bad lunch for the both of us (Sophia had the salt and pepper squid which was my go-to for previous visits). Hopefully we'll be back here sooner than later. Till next time :)

I've been to GuangDong for a birthday dinner previously and decided to go for dinner to give it a…read moresecond try. This was one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I've had. From the moment we sat down, the service felt rushed. Our waitress barely gave us time to look at the menu before pushing us to order. It didn't feel welcoming at all, it felt like we were an inconvenience. While we were eating, there was a very concerning situation happening with some employees. Two women who appeared intoxicated kept coming from the back of the restaurant, stumbling and falling all over the floor. One of them was repeatedly rubbing her nose with what looked like a powdery substance while a man kept pulling them back into a room near the restrooms. This went on multiple times. It was extremely uncomfortable and honestly scary, especially because my kids and their friend were with us. We weren't the only ones disturbed. Two other tables actually got up and left while this was going on. A couple sitting nearby looked completely shocked when the waitress began mocking me later on. The whole atmosphere felt chaotic and unprofessional. We ended up asking for to-go boxes because the environment felt unsafe. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. The chicken was very soggy and not crispy at all. On top of that, the entire restaurant smelled strongly like smoke mixed with a harsh chemical odor. It did not feel clean. To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. When I asked about it, the waitress immediately became defensive and said they charge 20% for parties over five. I calmly explained that we were three adults and two children (five total). Instead of clarifying professionally, she began yelling back and forth with another woman, mocking what I was saying. She then snatched the check from the table and said, "For future reference, it's 20% for everyone." The entire interaction was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Overall, extremely unprofessional, uncomfortable, and not a place I would recommend at all, especially for families.
