The food is still pretty good but I knocked off a star because their menu prices increased, and their portions decreased. I ordered the pupu platter. The ribs that came with it did not have any meat. I was so disappointed! It was a bone with sauce smh. The fried shrimp and crab Rangoon did not come with any sauce (it did my last visit, maybe they just forgot it). Please note, I liked the rest of my food, But I'm going to try out different local Chinese food restaurants in the area to give them a try. read more

I debated between a 3 and 4 and decided to go with the 4 because my food was not bad (just not what I expected. I ordered the lunch special kung pao chicken and was surprised that the meat was fried not sautéed. I have never had kung pao prepared that way. Sauce still had a good flavor but I didn't like the meat fried. Very large portion and was enough for two meals. It's nice that it comes with a free egg roll or soda. Service was very good and kind. Also didn't have to wait longer than 10 minutes for our food. Only two tables inside as it mostly a takeout joint. read more

I recently had an experience with this Golden City location that left me quite disappointed. I called to place an order for pick up when to my surprise my order was being taken by a child. I absolutely support raising responsible children by giving them tasks around the house or even business. However, if your child is rude, ill-mannered and lacks the professionalism and courtesy necessary for effective customer service then they should be assigned a different task. I strongly advise the owner to have an adult handle customer interactions. A professional and respectful representative can significantly improve customer satisfaction and enhance the company's reputation. As it stands, the current approach is detrimental to your business. In all my orders from Chinese restaurants, I have never had a reason to complain about the rice. This place, however, sent me an extremely dense block of rice that was difficult to eat because of how compressed it was. Not sure how it came out to be this way but maybe it was their type of rice grain. Prices were good, but the Hunan Chicken and Moo Goo Gai Pan sauces and composition were pretty average. read more
