All three were great but I have to pick the Ginger Scallion chicken.

We absolutely love The Great Wall. We get deliveries often and we live in a remote area. Not easy to deliver to. It's always hot and perfect! We love the samples they send along with your meal. I will try the Ginger Scallion chicken next time for sure, the sample was awesome! Thank you for the samples Great Wall!

Inside and out, this looks like thousands of other Chinese takeouts located in suburban strip malls. Unfortunately, the food fails to live up to even the most modest expectations. First indication: lousy fried noodles. How can you mess up fried noodles? Then we moved onto pork fried rice that tasted like it had sat in a refrigerator for a week and then spent 10 minutes in a microwave. Lumpy and tough shrimp lo mein and disappointing spring rolls complemented our overly sweet and fatty spare ribs. Avoid.

typical fare.

This place had average pricing but we were very pleasantly surprised with the amount of food we got! Good thing every bite was delicious as well.

I've always had quality meals from Great Wall. Even during the pandemic of 2020 they stayed open when other places just closed up shop.

Top China - Vegetable Mei Fun and Homesyle Bean curd

Top China

When in Deltaville, one is very limited in places to eat on a Monday night. A boatyard neighbor…read moresuggested Top China and said that it was very good. We took her advice! Top China is the quintessential take out Chinese joint, clean and simple. It is definitely Americanized Chinese food, but hit and fresh. We ordered the General Tsao's Chicken and the Homestyle Tofu. The chicken was nicely fried, the sauce was not overly sweet and it had a bunch of nicely stir fried broccoli. The Homestyle Tofu (a real Chinese dish, not Americanized) stole the show, lots of crisp veggies (not a bell pepper in sight) pea pods, carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, broccoli, etc plus a pound of perfectly fried tender tofu triangles. It was better than what I've had in sit down restaurants! The order included two containers of white rice. The couple who own the place are very nice and helpful. We ended up having enough food that we had TWO meals plus I took the extra carton of rice and made Cantonese fried rice later that week. We will definitely be going back, especially for the tofu! By the way, I heard the Mongolian Beef is good too! Make sure you ask for a little chili with your tofu.

The vegetable mei fun had plenty of veggies that were al dente, seasoned well, and a large portion. The Homestyle bean curd had a delicious sauce and tofu was delicious with lots of veggies!! The spring rolls were tasty and not oily! Our order was ready fast and packeted well for to go. The owner was very friendly and helpful! So glad they were open on 12/27! We will definitely go back when we are in the Deltaville area!!

Peter Chang - 13. Basil Eggplant in Clay Pot Lunch Special

Peter Chang (Williamsburg)…read more GOOD: mixed meat Mei fun was excellent. Service was good and friendly. Prices are reasonable (but*) BAD: The pork fried dumplings needed a longer fry. They only appeared to touch the frying pan for barely a minute. They had a steamed, flimsy texture, and I was going for that nice crust, which separates a pan-fried dumpling from a steamed dumpling. My server was very good but the kitchen was very slow tonight, it took almost another twenty-five minutes to get the entree out after the appetizer, and the restaurant was only moderately busy at best. The table next to me also had to wait for every course. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. Even the dumplings that were under fried had good flavor. *Please be aware, which came as a shock to me, that the restaurants on that particular street are subject to a 12%to 13% percent sales tax, which was really off putting. I would still go back to Peter Chang's but probably another location because of the tax and the slow kitchen.

This isn't your run of the mill prepackaged Chinese restaurant, they make authentic Chinese and dishes that break your perception of what American Chinese restaurants can be. I had the crispy pork skin, fish and cilantro soup, and the Szechuan hot pot. All of it was amazing. The restaurant it self isn't anything fancy but the food makes up for it. Do yourself a favor and give it a try

I like that it's spaced out and you're not over crowded. Our waitress Catherine was awesome. She's always nice, friendly, and patient. She gave us the menu specials and allowed us to chat a bit before ordering. My friend ordered the cheese wontons, general tso chicken and dan dan noodles. The wontons were really good. I like that they were sweet and crispy. I'd get them again for sure. The dan dan noodles were spicy and flavorful. My sister and I got the Mongolian chicken, storm fish, and eggplant. This is my go to meal that I normally get, it's always tasty. The storm fish normally comes with a spicy mayo sauce, but they didn't have it this time. The fish was still ok, but the sauce is what gives it flavor, so it was a little bland this time. The eggplant and Mongolian chicken were yum, hot, and fresh!! I definitely recommend this restaurant to alot of people. I just think it's more elevated compared to regular Chinese takeout food. They have many delicious options on the menu, and again the vibe is chill. If you're planning a group dinner this is definitely a great option. The rooms have a lazy Susan on the table to make sharing the family style meals easy. Check them out!!

I found maybe 4 at most. It was also disappointing most of the sauce was on the bottom. So it's imperative you stir everything from bottom up upon receiving the order. The top layer tasted like it had barely any seasonings because of it. I wish I had known the meal came with copious amounts of mushrooms. I otherwise would have specifically requested the order be made without the them. I am not a big fan of mushrooms and especially the fragrant kind like the shiitake variety. I feel like I had mouthfuls of mushrooms in each bite and that's all I tasted. Perhaps I will order something else they are more known for the next time I believe they specialize in Szechuan cuisine.
