Great food without a long wait. The people that run it are very nice. Love the crab Rangoon.

They are ok in a pinch. Their fried rice is rather strange and orange. They are fast but not personable.

Best takeout around. Good people, too. Loved everything these guys have put out. The teriyaki chicken is phenomenal.

Now, I've been around long enough to know that when a Chinese Restaurant warns you a dish is "hot," they are not talkin' about temperature -- they are talkin' about a level of spice that could peel paint off a barn. But I ate 'em anyway, because a man's pride is more delicate than his taste buds. Next up the Mongolian beef -- thin strips of cow that had been cooked with onions, peppers, and enough sauce to baptize a Baptist church twice. I'm not sure what Mongolia has to do with it, but it was tender, sweet, and spicy all at once, like dating a redhead from Alabama. Finally, the hot and sour soup. Now, I don't know who first decided to mix hot and sour together, but it's genius. It's like football and beer -- opposites that were meant to be. One spoonful and you feel both comforted and challenged, like your grandmother telling you she loves you but you need to cut your hair. I cleaned up the left overs feeling a little sweaty, and just humble enough to admit that maybe -- just maybe -- them folks in the kitchen know more about flavor than a boy raised on cornbread and collard greens.

The meat tasted like it was just boiled rather than properly stir-fried, lacking that authentic texture and flavor. * The fried rice: It was terrible. The flavor was completely off, and it looked like they just used some cheap yellow coloring to dye it instead of seasoning it properly. It had absolutely no taste. * The chicken: It seemed like it was just parboiled and thrown into the dish at the last second. It was completely bland. I'm sorry to leave a bad review, but I truly hope management improves their cooking techniques. Honestly, nobody would want to eat food prepared this way.

To me, a great presentation and a beautiful atmosphere are wonderful, but at the end of the day? Nothing can replace pure, authentic flavor. Well, Fat Dragon in Virginia absolutely blew me away. From the second we walked in, the experience was seamless. We had a party of eight with no reservation, and they sat us immediately. The ambiance was great, the portions were incredibly generous, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and completely on top of their game. Drinks arrived fast, and the entire meal flowed beautifully without a single hitch. But let's get to the real highlight of the night: the Tsingtao beer-battered mushrooms. Oh my goodness, they were out of this world! Perfectly fried and crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy on the inside, and dusted with a spicy Sichuan cloud that made them completely irresistible. They were so good that even my father--who isn't a mushroom lover at all--couldn't stop eating them! For my main course, I had the Fei Lone steak, and it was absolutely sublime. Tender, perfectly prepared, and packed with flavor. If you appreciate amazing service, a great vibe, and food that actually delivers on taste, do yourself a favor and check out Fat Dragon. I'll definitely be thinking about those mushrooms for a long time!

I've only been to the Chesapeake location, and I love their food, so this was my first time trying the food at the VB location. I was quickly greeted as soon as I walked in and was seated right away. I loved the clean and modern decor of the restaurant. My server was super friendly and brought over the menu. I knew I wanted the Wonton in Hot Chili Oil but I also wanted to try the Dan-Dan Noodles here, because I wasn't a fan of them at the other location, so I ordered both of those along with Salt & Peppered Prawns. The food was served fairly quickly. I started with the Wontons but there was something in the chili oil that made my mouth extremely tingly and numb. I normally get a slight tingly feeling when I eat them but this was intense. I couldn't even finish it. The Dan-Dan Noodles were incredible though! They had the perfect amount of flavor and spice. The Salt & Peppered Prawns were good, but I probably won't order them again. The flavors were great but the seasoning is only on the shells. I found myself rubbing the de-shelled shrimp on the seasoned shells to give them some flavor. I did attempt to eat them with the shells on but I wasn't a fan. You really can't go wrong at Judy's! The staff were incredible and the food is good!!! I still prefer the Chesapeake location but I'm glad I was able to stop in and try the food out at this location as well.
