Great food without a long wait. The people that run it are very nice. Love the crab Rangoon.

They are ok in a pinch. Their fried rice is rather strange and orange. They are fast but not personable.

Best takeout around. Good people, too. Loved everything these guys have put out. The teriyaki chicken is phenomenal.

The entryway is interesting and provides some shelter from the rain, allowing you to manage your umbrella before entering. We were seated within seconds, and our server, Liza, came by very promptly with some water for our table. I felt slightly anxious at first, being that we were in a cozy two-top amongst the fray, but it subsided quickly because everyone was respectful and reasonably quiet. We ordered the veggie spring rolls to start, and I had the Chinatown Ramen, and my partner had the Chicken Fried Noodles. The appetizer was hot, savory, and spicy with the duck sauce and hot mustard mixture. If you like milder sauce, do not mix it. The entrees came out within five or so minutes of the appetizers, which seemed quick for a busy night. The ramen was spicy, hot, and filling. I was only able to finish about half. We will be enjoying those leftovers tonight. My partner said that her noodles and chicken were well-seasoned and delicious, too. Looking around the restaurant, it is clear that they support the local LGBTQ+ community, and it is even labeled as a Safe Space on the beautifully manicured, makeshift chalkboard/menu/posting board. The clientele and staff alike seemed warm and kind, based solely on limited interactions and observation on my part. If you are looking for a traditional American-Chinese food restaurant (think buffet-style items), this is likely not the place for you. There were no mishaps or snafus with our orders. Liza performed her duties well, and I can surely recommend this restaurant to anyone who doesn't mind a mix of Japanese and Chinese cuisine.

I called earlier in the day to see if we should make reservations, but was told they wouldn't be busy. Well, we got there and while they had plenty of tables at 6:30PM, but 7PM that place was completely packed! They had lots of carry-out orders happening too, which all made the kitchen a little slow. We ordered many dishes to share and all started coming out one after another over the next hour until the beef & broccoli was the last dish. Again, I attribute the slowness of the kitchen to their being so busy. At least all the food that came out was very fresh, tasty, and piping hot. Some interesting items that were quite good were their potatoes and green peppers. This dish is something I've never seen before but was pretty good! It features long julienned potatoes that they clearly soak in water before wok'ing with the peppers - that was all that was in the dish, but it was still tasty. Their Fish in Chili Oil & Bean Sprouts was really tasty and fresh! The fish is flounder. Their spicy wontons in chili oil were very popular with our group too. Service here was friendly too and helpful. Like I said, we tried many items, so many more than I just outlined and all were nice. I'd definitely return for a slightly more elevated Chinese menu from what you get at the typical Chinese-American joints.
