LOTS of sneaky charges, beware!!! Never got our deposit back from our party of 8. Later got an 18% charge for "large party fee". Nothing is one their website for these fees. We had already tipped the bartender so why the charge?? This is an ACTIVITY, like bowling, where large party charges are not applied. Manager was not helpful and owner never called back. So disappointed. We had a blast but I'm not going to support places that aren't transparent. Will find other activities that don't cost $80+ a couple for $75 min.

Loved our experience here. Felt it was a bit pricey for what we got. The tutoring was much better when another employee came in, he rocked! The others there before him were meh Beer was cold and good. Loved the caramel apple slushie drink, super yummy! Did not try the food, menu was more expansive than what was listed online so we ate before we got there. Had a good time and actually found our grove.

We made reservations for 5:30 and our day ended early unexpectedly - a quick phone call and they were able to accommodate us earlier than planned with no issue! Everyone was friendly, it's clean, masks were enforced...perfect experience from start to finish! Matt was our instructor and he was professional, helpful, funny and relaxed - we loved him! I cannot WAIT to get back here - it was such an overall phenomenal experience!

Jack was our coach and he was an excellent one at that. Very encouraging, he made us laugh, he talked with us and made the time we had that much more fun! My wife and I celebrated our four year anniversary here and him and the staff congratulated us. My wife and I also were able to sign the board for getting three bullseyes in a row. My other feedback would be that there should be another prize for getting three dead shots (blue dots) in a row. All in all amazing time! Very good service and although it's 45 minutes away from where we live we'd be more than happy to drive to Axe Republic just to do it again!

Bay 9, lanes are about 10ft long and there's plenty of space between throwers.

Matt was great with instruction and very fun to interact with. The staff friendly and very polite. Very relaxed atmosphere with great music too. Food and drink service was prompt and yummy! I'd definitely go back and it was worth the hour drive!

Omg! We had so much fun! Spencer was our "axpert" and he literally helped us get our axe throwing skills from hitting the floor to getting on the board. Even though we both struggled, he stuck with us until we got it! If I could recommend this place 1000 times I would. Definitely give this place a chance even if you're nervous! The drink and food prices were amazing too with the best service you could imagine!

Axe Republic is awesome. Great vibe. Not crowded. No mask after you are escorted to your lane although staff wear them 100% of the time. VERY knowledgeable and fun Axeperts (Daniel is great).

We had so much fun! Wish they had draft beer instead of cans, however that did not take away from a fun experience. The chicken wings were excellent!

While we can't promise *you* won't have a similar experience, we can say that in this case the executive chef personally responded promptly to a respectful polite email and then handled it all very appropriately once informed. And for that alone, we revise to 4 stars. Perhaps ours was an isolated incident. Regardless, a big thank you to the executive chef for the response and swift refund. Much appreciated. We *think* any executive chef would want to KNOW what was going on, perhaps in their absence, right? YMMV. Thanks again. ORIGINAL 1 star review: New Years Eve dinner at Terrace Room. The photo shows "pan-seared" scallops with a ... risotto-like substance. Heh. $50. Uh huh. Scallops: No sear. Super chewy. Hard to even cut. Risotto was like mushy oatmeal stuff and zero seasoning or flavor. Maybe something was wrong in the kitchen, I dunno. Ack. We both ordered this and left most of it. Also a bottle of wine (white) that had to be chilled in front of us for a while before the server could/would pour it. Hm. $110 for that. Note: the *service* was excellent! It is never a waiter's "fault" when the food is awful. We tipped the excellent waiter accordingly, BTW. Just sharing our experience at this place on this particular night. Hope it helps. Be aware. Maybe it's "iffy."

When I got to the restaurant I asked if they had horse radish: no. Au jus: yes. I wanted a piece of Carrot cake but I thought $18 was exorbitant. I opted for the pecan pie instead. The online menu said they had some crispy chicken dinner... It was no longer part of the menu when I arrived to the restaurant.. My significant other is allergic to shellfish, and does not eat pork... There weren't a lot of entrée options for him because there was pork all over the place. I did order him some salmon since he could not get the chicken. He liked the salmon. The broccoli had no flavor on it. And the brown rice pilaf was equally Bland. The brisket sandwich was ...okay... but dipping it in French onion soup calling it onion jus.... It just pissed me off. I think the menu was overpriced for tourists. The staff seemed to be doing the best they could. I guess I'll continue my hunt for the best Friend dip in Williamsburg. I'm down here a lot.

For starters I got the French onion soup which came out in about 20 minutes. Soup was very solid and had more of a purée taste which was surprisingly good. The pasties especially the chocolate croissants were also delicious. After another 25 minutes the main dishes came out. I got the fillet which came with a peppercorn glaze (amazing!) and crispy potato pie. Fillet was cooked to correct medium rare temperature and tasted delicious! For desert, I got the cheesecake with raspberry! It was really rich and delicious! The raspberry puree provided a nice tart taste to go alongside the sweetness! Staff were very friendly and the service for this entire meal was about an hour thru. A very delicious place restaurant that I'd gladly come back to if I'm in the area! I wasn't expecting it, and haven't had wings that made me want to lick my fingers in forever, so hats off to ST&B for making me do it. The wings are top tier and the crab bisque is tasty. We are a middle aged couple, and sometimes when we have the kids with us we review from that perspective as well. We were traveling for Thanksgiving and they had a pre set menu for $48 a person which included an appetizer of Winter soup, the main dinner and as amazing! The turkey was cooked perfectly, not dry! The stuffing was to die for, the mashed potatoes full of creamy flavor, and don't get me started on the collard greens! Just give me the whole pot!! They KNOW how to do collards. The desert was also very good, pumpkin pie with butter pecan ice cream. Overall the place was great, my only issue was that you had to make a reservation (which I get) but we didn't have one and figured we would try anyway. So we walk in and ask if there is any available seats... mind you I saw like 4 full open tables, a long high top table with 10-12 seats available... she looks at her list and starts counting, asks if I'm ok with a high top, I say yes, so we take the seats at the long table that seats like 12 as a shared table. So were there for a little over an hour and not one of those available tables when I walked in were used. I am not sure if they have in place where if your 10 minutes late for your reservation then you forfeit your table. Because paying customers would have liked that table. But the food was amazing and that made up for it. With tip, Thanksgiving dinner was about $149 for 2 people.
