My husband and I ordered: * Spitz gyros and vegan gyros * Spitz fries * Quinoa salad * Baklava Can't speak more highly of this place. Happy it's found its way to East Roseville! The food here is absolutely fire!! On top of that, Jazz and his crew (Baljitee Massee) did a fantastic job!!!

This is a solid 4 stars for me. Been anxiously awaiting the opening since we come to this center often. It is Mediterranean fast food as advertised. They will definitely do better than the previous tenants. Came for a late lunch on a Saturday and they were packed. They have Gyros and bowls and french fries with the fixin's. Very trendy inside with music playing. You order at the counter, give you a number, and bring out your meal. They even have a loyalty club you can sign up for. I ordered the bowl with beef and lamb. I found it to be very dry. Not enough hummus or tzatziki. A lot of filler of lettuce and rice. Very light on the meat. I had to dig around to find it. Not a lot of flavor. I never said mnnnnnn and didn't finish it with no desire to take it home. Service was friendly at the counter but asked another person that was picking up tables if she could clean a table outside in the shade for us and she seemed very off put by me asking. I will return and try something else. I like that it is different than your usual and better than some.

Hubs and I stopped in for lunch today and I had the Vegan Doner Bowl. It was super tasty with lots of fresh flavors. I loved the crispy garbanzo and humus. I also really appreciated that I could order a beer with my meal. The only downsides were that my bowl didn't come with the pita, and the vinaigrette was just okay. Neither was a dealbreaker since the bowl itself was delicious. The service was fantastic. It was our first time and Braydon was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The restaurant was clean, with plenty of seating both inside and out, making it a comfortable spot for lunch. I'm definitely coming back, especially for that Vegan Doner Bowl.

Colorful, vibrant, welcoming for old and new patrons, patio seating for dogs, a few games for kids, and attentive workers (still training and learning but decent job overall). Great place for young crowds and artistic decor. For the new trainees, here's a piece of advice - some of your customers tend to be inpatient and rude. Don't stoop to their level. My family and I were new here, asking for recommendations, and placing our order. I hadn't finished paying it, but one of the young grasshopper workers noticed an anxious and impatient customer behind me and had her step up to the cashier to start her order despite me still being right there and paying... way too close for my comfort. Still learning, I get it, so there's some feedback for improvement. Why 3 stars? Call me traditional for taste buds, but I prefer good'ol tasty and delicious Mediterranean food. When it comes to halal, I crave those NY carts that simply have rice, meat, white and red sauces, and some veggies on the side. Spitz seems to be the modern day version of that and then some, but just way too much chaos for my liking. Similar to sushi bowl spots but with Mediterranean food. Just not my cup of tea but to each its own! Personally, my taste buds were quite confused and headed in all sorts of directions. Had to remove the tons of olives (unless you love olives, then you'll be in foodie heaven). You might love their flavorful mixes so I'd say it's definitely worth a try! Mix and match their sauces, give it a go and don't be shy. Again... Young grasshopper workers - when you're working with a customer already, it's okay to go at the customer's pace. Recommended, actually. Don't rush and stoop to the level of your rude and impatient customers by kicking paying customers to the side!

I really wanted to love this spot but the food fell a bit short for me. The location itself is great, lots of parking, very clean interior and such friendly staff. We brought my one year old son with us and he was loving looking at all the lights and colorful walls. I appreciated them having high chairs for us to easily grab for our table. We ordered one of their non alcoholic slushees and loved it! I ordered the Doner basket with chicken and that came with a little bit of everything. The hummus was more liquidy than expected, the chicken was extremely salty, and with the dressing it just took it to a whole other salt level. I ordered some sweet potato fries and they were overly crispy. I would be willing to go back but would definitely order something different, and would definitely get that slushee again!

This place was a great surprise. It's a chain that just recently opened here and it had a busy lunch time vibe - a line to the door the whole time we were there. I got the zesty feta wrap and my husband got the traditional greek. The bread was so fresh and yummy - both the pita and the lavash wrap. My wrap was huge and it made two meals for me - tasted great even hours later cold. We both got the beef/lamb gyro meat. There are tons of fun sauces and they brought out the buffalo Berliner for us to try. So spicy! Would love to come back and try more options. They also have an extensive vegetarian and vegan menu plus beers and wines. I loved the graffiti and fun artwork all over the place. I also loved that they have free spa water - a change of pace from generic free water cups I'm accustomed to. Great experience!

I love Mediterranean food, so I was so excited to try Spitz. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by staff and I took a second to take in all the decor. It's very bright and fun inside and they have a giant Kerplunk and a awesome mural right when you enter. I ordered the Mediterranean Doner Wrap with mixed meat and a side of sweet potato fries. I ordered to go, but my food was still hot by the time I got home. The Doner wrap was delicious. You could tell that the produce was fresh and the meat was well seasoned and flavorful. The sweet potato fries are addicting (and I'm very picky about my sweet potato fries), but I had to stop myself from eating them so that I could have leftovers the next day. I also ordered a couple additional sauces and the Zhoug and Garlic Aioli were my favorites. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. If you're a fan of Mediterranean food or just looking for a fresh, flavorful meal, Spitz is absolutely worth checking out!

Came to Spitz for a late birthday lunch with my sister, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the gyro combo with garlic sticks and baklava, and everything was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The gyro was fantastic, and the garlic sticks and baklava were the perfect additions to the meal. The place has a fun atmosphere with a small bar, exceptional food, and plenty of great options. Such an outstanding spot--I'll definitely be back!

Great new spot in Roseville! I tried Spitz for the first time this week and I already can't wait to go back! It's in Roseville, across the street from Kaiser, on Douglas and Rocky Ridge. Large private parking lot. It's tucked in the corner of the shopping center, easy to find. There is a nice outdoor patio and plenty of seating inside as well. It has a really fun, vibrant, happy vibe to it. Very colorful and fun - in the best way. The employees were all SO nice and helpful. They have not been open a long time yet, and they were so happy to see the customers and help them with the food/menu. You will order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you. It was very fast even though it was busy lunchtime. I ordered a MediBowl and the combo fries. It was super delicious. The bowl is completely customizable with tons of toppings. I got the gyro meat and it was super moist and flavorful. The bowl came with rice, hummus, cucumber, onions....on and on! They have several sauce options to choose from. The combo fries - regular fries and waffle sweet potato fries - YUM. I absolutely loved the sweet potato fries. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Complete Greek/Med food vibes, which is one of my fav kinds of food. Looked like lots of people were getting pick up also. They have a good app with a loyalty program. Def recommend you check it out. Food photos attached!

We love Mediterranean food. This is our new favorite spot. It's located in the Sprouts shopping plaza, so we pick up food whenever we are in the area. I went with the Medi Bowl the first time, and it was great. After seeing the Doner Basket, for a little more, it is definitely worth it. Also great to see they have a loyalty program.

I've been waiting on this spot to open up! I work down the street and go to orange theory in the same shopping center and been eyeing the opening! Went with my husband and baby today and was so pleasantly impressed! The food was delicious, healthy, and hearty! The service was amazing, decor was bright and inviting too! Overall, the vibe was so nice and they had a great selection of wines and drinks! The owner, Jaz was so welcoming and interacted with guests and was so nice! Will def be back! Def a new staple in Roseville! Oh and another plus, the food is halal too!!!

This place was such a great find! The food was fresh, flavorful, and everything we ordered was delicious. You can tell they really care about the quality of both the food and the overall experience. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. Surbhi, the cashier, was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. She gave great recommendations, took the time to answer our questions, and made us feel genuinely appreciated as customers. Her positive attitude and excellent service are honestly the reason I decided to come back (twice in one week) and why I'll be inviting more friends and family to give this restaurant a try. Great food, even better service. Highly recommend checking this place out! Also HUGE PORTIONS.

I have been counting down the days until Spitz opened and they didn't disappoint!!! The inside is fun, decorative and represented a bit of Roseville's history, well done! The hubs and I tried the Spitz gyro, Doner salad, falafel and their chicken wings! We loved the lemon tahini salad dressing, tzatziki and their zhoug sauce. All are made in house and you can tell the difference. The gyro meat was the perfect blend of lamb and beef, adding some zhoug overtop was chefs kiss! The falafel was fried to perfection and filled with fresh herbs and ingredients. The salad was the perfect mix of flavor and textures, every bite was a burst of flavor. A mistake was made to our order and once we mentioned it, they corrected it immediately and went above and beyond to correct it. Can't wait to come back!

Started grubbing on the regular fries before remembering to take a picture!

We enjoyed: - pomegranate martini: light and fruity, good pomegranate flavor - yuzu lime drop: seasonal for summer only! - the First Lady: strong but smooth; came with a nicely cut ice cube - whiskey sour: classic flavor, executed well The drinks were great but I really wish there was some sort of snack to munch on. Even peanuts or mixed nuts would have been welcome. Adding a small food menu of bar snacks would make me stay longer!

Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. At the end of our meal, I was offered a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a thoughtful touch and a great way to end the evening. Overall, this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. We had the fried calamari appetizer and it was delicious, not greasy at all and had fried green beans and onions mixed in. Wife loved her grilled salmon entree. We both enjoyed our cocktails as well. Service was fairly good overall, although it took a long time before our server came to take our order and service was just all around slow. Very friendly though. Cons: My entree was not good. Ordered the pappardelle with short rib ragu. This was NOT a ragu as it is commonly known, it was more of a cream sauce with some meat in it. The pasta was swimming in cream. And I hate cream sauce. I never would have ordered it had the menu description said it was a cream sauce. The server offered to make me another entree but I did not want to wait another 30 minutes so I choked down what I had. Value is not good. The burger is $20, for example. Prices are a bit too high for the experience you are getting. Verdict: We may be back, as 2/3 of the food was quite good, they just failed on my pasta dish. But it's pricey, so who knows. Moderate recommendation.

We were all ready to go and find another restaurant, but the person seating said to wait a minute. A table was just cleared and she was able to seat us. It was a good thing we paused as we got a table in back, next to the birthday party alcove. When we walked to our seats we passed an alcove with couches and chairs and whole bunch of kids jumping and running around with a few adults mingled in. As it turns out it was a birthday party for one of the adults. They sang to him and he blew out the candles on his cake. The restaurant is quite loud, but not too loud that you could still have a conversation which was a surprised as it was so loud. This is not the place to go for a romantic dinner. It's a pub, minus the year round Shepard's pie. They change the menu twice a year and that's only served fall/winter. That was sad because that was what I really wanted to order. Service was really good, the waiter kept coming back and checking on us. We first ordered drinks, then appetizers. We go the baked Brie Board for the table (there was 4 of us). It was a really solid appetizer. We all over the baked Brie and fruits included. I would order it again for a table of 4. My husband ordered the Monk's Burger and found it very tasty. I agree it was good, but a little on the dry side and the fries wern't crispy enough and tasted old. I got the Halibut. I found it tough and hard to cut into, maybe it was over seared a bit. It didn't taste fish at all which was good. The Cherry and Currant chutney was unusually and addd a good flavor to it. I wouldn't order it again. My girlfriend ordered the Moules Frites and said it had a very generous potion and would feed two easily, though she ate it all herself after sharing some with the table. Everyone agreed it was very tasty. The presentation was good too. It came in a large pot. Lastly our other friend ordered the fish and chips and said it was a generous portion. He only ate half of it and took the other half home and he was hungry to begin with. Parking is street parking or there is a free garage a couple of blocks away and over the bridge. You can see the train passing by on the other side of the bridge. Overall it was a good meal. I though my halibut was subpar and the fries that came with the burger had the texture and taste of old fries, they were also just room temperature when they were borough out. Sadly they weren't piping hot from the frier.
