Sample of the Menu of options for your hamburger, chicken sandwich, or veggie burger ( and some hotdogs).

Great food! We had the Mac n Cheese bites and Brussels and both were delivious! Then several burgers and everyone loved each one. Our table had the Bearded Goat Burger, the Dragon's Breath and the Dr Feel Gouda and all were delicious! If you get tots, ask to add the cheese sauce! I do urge you to call ahead and put your name down - it's so good there is usually a wait!

Came here today for lunch on a whim after hiking. The outside had some seating to wait for a table as they were quite busy. Once inside it was cozy and active. I thought the menus and food options had plenty for anyone to like. I read reviews online before I ordered and everyone said they had the best burgers. I wouldn't say they're the best however probably the best in Dahlonega. Would come back here if one of my friends in Dahlonega was craving a burger. Service was quick and efficient and very to the point to flip tables. Other wise was a very good time

So we were recommended to this spot by our bartender at Big Creek Distilling when we were up here in January. We went then and this weekend we went back again for lunch before we toured the Dahlanega square. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table at 12:30 on a Saturday, but they notify you by text so you can walk around the nearby shops while you wait. These burgers are just awesome so many options. I had the Dragons breath this time and it was perfect. Their horseradish mayo is great! We tried trash pile this time for an appetizer and that was nearly a meal in itself! The wife out an Irish Whisky cocktail this time called a Spiritual Tea She really enjoyed it, very light and refreshing. Definable a good spot to stop while you are touring around up here.

Spirits is a must whenever I'm in Dahlonega. They never disappoint. Even though it is usually packed, it still has a cozy vibe. Our waitress was super nice and gave us the specials while we tried to figure out what we wanted. My friend went with the Fungi Philly special. She was happy to see it had both mushrooms and beef. She said it was really good but more mushroom forward than she was expecting. I had the trash pile as my main meal. The tots were perfectly crispy. The beef was well seasoned. It's the trash pile that keep me coming back. My girlfriend had a Bluesion chicken sandwich. She said it was cooked perfectly and super flavorful.

Had the burger with onions and bacon. AMAZING!!!

Small place with great food. The Mac and cheese bites were amazing. Had the burger with onion straws and bacon and it was delish. Would definitely go back.

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Service is spectacular and the atmosphere is clean and friendly. One of the best restaurants in Dahlonega! After being in Dahlonega for a month, Spirits Tavern has been my go-to spot at least once a week. The atmosphere is trendy and friendly with lots of exposed brick, fun art, and craftsman style furniture. As the name suggests - they have a great selection of Spirits and their draft beer is always local and diverse. Service has been consistently great. Bartenders are engaging and always bring a smile. Wait staff are well trained and knowledgeable. This is the type of place that has a somewhat limited menu of items they execute very well. Burgers are cooked to temp and they can definitely deliver a property cooked burger medium. If you're trying to decide what to eat while in town - this is a great choice with plenty to offer for every palate! Don't miss the tater tots, chicken bites, or the brownie for dessert!

We were in town for a wedding and Spirits Tavern was just a block away from our stay. After reading reviews and talking to locals, it was deemed the spot to go. The vibe is overall very causal which we loved. We were instantly greeted and put on a short waitlist of 25 mins. Service was friendly and quick once we sat down. Our waitress was great and happy to make recommendations. I ordered the Dragon's Breath burger with Kalettes and my boyfriend ordered the Imposter with Fried Green Beans. Burgers are cooked to order which is always a plus! We savored every bite! It was so good, nothing was left on my plate! Overall, we loved Spirits Tavern so much we came here twice during our four day stay. Highly recommend!

Love the food and the people. I get the trout sandwich and tots without salt. The wilted salad with grilled springer mountain chicken and warm bacon dressing is also a favorite. ... And all the cocktails.

We stopped here for a late lunch after exploring the area. We got in right away, a little break in what seems to be a heavy stream of business. I had the bleufushion burger made with grass fed beef and a side of tater tots. The tater tots were hot salty and crispy- just as the should be. The burger was delicious. Served medium rare as I had ordered. It was huge, and very flavorful. My only ding is the service was a bit slow once we ordered but if you want a really good burger- give this place a try!

Oh my! Spirits Tavern definitely has the best burgers in Dahlonega, and they may have some of the best burgers in all of Georgia. After walking around the Square and reading the reviews on yelp, I decided to try Spirits Tavern. I was not disappointed. The interior of the restaurant has a cool theme in the way that they combined ghoulish spirits from the afterlife with a full bar of spirits for alcoholic beverages. Everyone I spoke with, including Cole and Rose at the bar, and Bella outside at the hostess stand, highly recommended the burgers. I was initially drawn to the gooey burger Which sounds like the ultimate cheesy burger. I was also interested in trying the mac & cheese bites based upon the high number of reviews that mentioned this starter on the menu. I decided to go with the rude awakening burger, and Cole the bartender pointed out that I could order the mac & cheese bites as a premium side. It was pretty much the perfect combination. The burgers are made to order, and they Cook the perfect medium rare burger. From the very first bite, I was left with the impression that this might be the best burger I've had in Georgia. The next time I find myself in Dahlonega, I'll definitely return to Spirits Tavern and bring my family as well. If you're looking for a tavern with amazing food, I would highly recommend you try spirits Tavern in Dahlonega. Cheers

I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

We walked around and finally ran into a waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wished inside or outside. The only area festive was inside a closed igloo and no heaters were on outdoors which was just a tad too cool for me despite the super nice weather that day. It would have been so to sit outside but without the warmth of the heaters we headed inside. We placed our order and explained we were just there for a pre-dinner drink and wanted to check out the venue so we didn't leave our tab open but we were quickly served the fabulous taking drinks on their menu(s). The Old Fashioned was on the regular menu and the Russian was on their seasonal tabletop menu. Server was very nice and took photos for some ladies we met. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star is they claim they are big on hospitality but yet we were not acknowledged upon arrival. Many restaurants and even some retail stores have a way to ensure they say hello/welcome immediately when you enter and without a hostess - the mindset should be that the bar or wait staff have a way to immediately say hello or welcome so those who have never been feel welcomed as well as those who frequently come. It would be nice to have a more festive decor for the holidays but that didn't affect my review; just a statement to say that the entire Sugar Hill area was pumping and themed with the holiday spirit then we walked in the only area decorated was not even accessible nor was it offered as an option to enjoy.

The motif is perfect from vintage art work on the wall to the hanging chandeliers and the big leather couches and chairs all in a very dark lighting. This time we came after hiking all day and sat outside with our dogs. Ambiance-touristy Irish pub. It's a big place that still tries to be Irish-ish. They fail but it's a worthwhile effort and people seem to like it. One issue with the design-it's a huge place but they have 2-single person bathrooms-one next to the bar and one on the second floor. I don't even understand how you get a building permit with that occupancy and so few bathrooms. My wife and I each got a burger, sub veggie patty. They are getting 2 stars for the fact they don't upcharge for the vegan patty. Everyone upcharges for a veggie burger, so this is an impressive give-a-way to customers. However, I added mushrooms and roasted red peppers, which added $2 each, and gluten free sandwich bread, which was a $5 upcharge. First, those veggies should not be a $2 upcharge each. That's obnoxious. Your menu burgers have toppings and are cheaper than a plain burger with 2 veggies. But, I am not taking stars away for the upcharge. I saw them, I accepted them. My problem is that with those changes, this was a $25 burger at an Irish pub in north GA and it tasted like a $5 burger from an Irish pub in north GA. It was dry, unseasoned, and very bland. You charged me $5 for 2 slices of bread from a loaf that costs $7.99 retail. A red pepper is $0.75 cents, maybe, retail, and for a couple teaspoons you charged me $2. Who knows what mushrooms cost, but the point is, for two toppings and sub 2 slices of sandwich bread, you charged me for a high-end steakhouse burger and served me a terrible backyard grill burger. On top of that, I ordered a whiskey (knob creek) on the rocks. On my check was a $2 rocks charge. So...you charged me $2 for ice? It makes no sense. It's the same amount of liquor. When I asked the server about it, she said because they pour an extra 2 ounces in. Obviously she lied because she had no clue what she was talking about. First, why would adding ice equal and extra 2 ounces? Maybe if I asked for an up martini or something, but I am adding volume, so why would you also add liquor? Second, my whiskey was $13 and a restaurant shot is 1, maybe 1.5 ounces. Do you really mean to tell me you gave me an extra 2 shots, maybe an extra 1.33 shots of a $13 liquor for $2 only because I asked for ice? I'm not an idiot. So, poor food, lying service, and unreasonable upcharges. I'm not coming back

I have visited Montaluce Winery and Estates many times over the years, but I've always been on the move, never quite able to pause and soak in the full experience. After a refreshing hike through the stunning property, we finally made time to stop in and it was everything I hoped it would be. The moment you step inside, you are transported. The interior aesthetics are absolutely gorgeous. There is a distinct, charming, and "campy" vibe that feels incredibly rustic and upscale at the same time. The taxidermy animals mounted on the walls add such a unique, authentic touch to the space. It's the kind of place you just don't find in chain restaurants. There is just something about a good wood-fired pizza that is unmatched. You can taste the quality and the craft in every bite. I ordered the classic Margherita pizza, and it was exactly what I needed after hiking. It was fresh, bubbly, and perfectly charred. To round out the meal, I paired my pizza with a glass of their signature apple wine. It was the perfect crisp accompaniment to the meal, capturing the essence of the Georgia mountains. Surrounded by real friends who truly celebrate you is a blessing within itself, and Trattoria di Montaluce provided the perfect backdrop for our birthday festivities.
