Holy moly, this place is a local gem! Everything we ordered was so good that we all ate way more than we needed to, and we weren't sad about it. The turkey with Brie and Granny Smith apples was subtly sweet and tart, and the baguette was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. The clubs were a classic choice that hit just right, and the enormous chef's salad balanced fresh, crunchy greens with proteins and croutons in all the right proportions. The pasta salad is Greek inspired--salty and savory and altogether yummy. For what you get, the prices are not crazy, and the outdoor seating area was clean and spacious (no indoor seating). read more

Small place with tables/umbrellas outdoors and a compact menu of sandwiches, some fairly basic, some more inventive and all made with Boar's Head meats/cheeses. I tried smoked turkey with lettuce, tomato, bacon and mayo on sourdough instead of the multigrain. It fell into the fairly basic camp but it was basically delicious! Toasty bread, plenty of shaved turkey, right amount of bacon and fresh veg. My sis had the special of the day which was their version of a classic Italian hoagie. It was served on a sub roll and she liked it a lot. It was quick to order and pay, we parked ourselves under an umbrella on the deck and in about 7 minutes had our two delicious sandwiches brought out in a bag. How delicious? I went back the next day (Saturday) only to discover the hours had changed and they were closed. And yes, I did my Yelply duty and updated the business hours on the app :) read more

Great little spot we found on Yelp after picking our kids up from camp. Not much on atmosphere, but greatly appreciated the big fans out on the porch (the only seating area is outside). The sandwiches were all very tasty...fresh bread, Boar's Head deli meat, a few cookie options for purchase. It was a nice selection of warm & cold deli sandwiches that came out quickly. So good!! Highly recommend that. I ordered the Turkey club, got it on ciabatta instead of wheat, added caramelized onions, Dijon, and Swiss cheese- so good!! They ended up putting on waaaaaay too much spicy Dijon lol such a powerful horseradish flavor lol but all good. I wiped a bunch off and it was still Delicious! We enjoyed some fresh coffee there while we waited-- the owner has his own coffee farm they said- cool! Simple, help yourself coffee station w sugar and creams. Nothing fancy, but was tasty. I saw they had some sweet treats, a few deli items like premade pasta salad, etc, as well as a breakfast sandwich menu. The college kids in there were great! Very good customer service, went above and beyond-- even asked us if we had any music requests for songs to play haha loved that! They had some good tunes going! They were patient and caring about us adding things to our sandwiches. Appreciated!! Always a great little spot! Was perfect to grab sandwiches for our hikes. We did the combo w chips and a drink. The Corner Kitchen is a cozy little spot with easy parking along a very busy intersection near the Dahlonega Square. Their daily special is displayed inconspicuously in the back of their store & they also have a kid's menu for the little tykes. I ordered up a smoked turkey plate with a side of their greek pasta salad and was overall super impressed with the taste!! Their combination of turkey, apples, brie and their turmeric honey surprisingly worked out so great together on their fresh baguette. I would've ordered it twice if I didn't have to travel so far home! The restaurant was voted Best Sandwich Shop of 2019 by their local "Dahlonega Nugget" so that should tell you a lot about the tiny shop! Unfortunately, the place was out of soup on the day of my visit. That would've been a better side on this colder day. Not a problem cause other delicious sides were readily available in their place. This is definitely going to be a re-visit if I'm ever back in the area; I would highly recommend you stop by for a bite to eat! read more

She got turkey sandwich with Greek pasta salad and a brownie (handmade from the fudge factory) I got roast beef sandwich with the pasta salad also, and a truffle. The sandwiches were truly excellent. Bread, portion size and condiment, just absolutely perfect! Toasted perfectly! We were both extremely pleased and as of now are regulars! Bee and Wes. Great sandwiches, killer cookies. - Muffaletta is maybe the best I've had. Perfectly constructed and pressed. And filling. - One of three vegetarian options is the pimento cheese sandwich (they also have a hummus wrap and a 'vegetarian' sandwich). Multi-grain bread loaded with cheese. My wife liked it but I thought it a bit too 'cheesy' but I suppose that's to be expected with a cheese sandwich. - Broccoli slaw and pasta salad are light and tasty. The sides come in small plastic tubs so you don't get a large amount. - Snickerdoodle, oatmeal-raisan and mollases cookies are wonderful. Not large, however, so you'll need several. Super friendly folks running the shop. Fast casual - fill out a menu form, pay at the register and they'll bring the food out. I'm not a fan of the pre-packaged plastic utensils, paper napkins, salt & pepper if you eat in. It's a minor complaint and I understand the rationale given their small kitchen but I don't like wasteful practices. They might even want to ask take-out customers whether they need utensils - many people who are headed out for picnics, hiking, etc already have what they need. The Corner Kitchen is very small, with two small tables and chairs inside. You will find a nice patio with tables outside. Only one table had an umbrella to shade the sun. This seems to be more of a take-out out place serving box lunches for people heading to the local state parks, which is a great business. Recommended. Stop in on your way to Vogel SP! read more

The food is usually pretty good when I go, but to be honest the prices are quite high. With no real indoor seating and with food that is ok, I would rather just head to one of the cafes downtown where breakfast sandwiches are more affordable instead of $8.42 after tax and whatever fees may be involved but before the tip screen pops up. I was going to just leave it and not write a review until the staff started cursing in front of one another and in front of me and the one other customer there. At 9 in the morning I found myself holding the most expensive breakfast I have bought (airports terminal prices included) with the staff in the open small building calling each other "f*ckwad" and "g*ywad." I left when they began discussing openly with the only other customer about who they are voting for before a potential civil war. Plenty of other wonderful places to visit in our town. I asked a fellow customer what's good sandwich wise- and she proceeds to tell me that she has had everything on the menu, and she could not tell me a bad thing on it! You can see the entire kitchen right where you order- and it's beautiful (and clean!). On Rainey days, the soup and sandwich is perfect! On sunny days, the chicken salad sandwich is the bomb!
