2nd visit! Everything was fabulous, again! Staff was alert, attentive, and knowledgeable. Restaurant is cute, like you are in an old saloon. Food is amazing!!! Probably the best sweet potato fries I've ever had! Hubby loves the regular fries also. Great seasoning!!!! Hubs got the brisket sandwich, no onions. I got the pork grilled cheese but with brisket instead of pork, of course!!! My sandwich, once I added the tasty bbq sauce, was perfection! I ate way more than I should have! Hubs thoroughly enjoyed his! Everything was hot and scrumptious. Even the sweet tea was on point! Only complaint, $17+ for a sandwich, no matter how good, is a bit much, especially when your burgers are $15. Just saying. Obviously, this complaint does not take away from my stars.

Small town charm with big flavors. Get the Brisket, you will not be disappointed. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Even helped us with local directions.

Southwestern eggrolls with jalapeno ranch

Today was our daughters first birthday, and we made a 3-hour trip up to Cleveland to visit the Cabbage Patch General Hospital. We decided to eat somewhere local, and this place was highly recommended. To start, the service is beyond what we could have ever hoped. I wish we got gotten the hostess's name and our servers, but they were seriously some of the nicest people we have ever met. They made us feel so incredibly welcome and like we had known them our entire life. We ordered a chicken tender kids meal with macaroni and cheese, the southwestern egg-rolls, and an ice cream sundae! Food was incredible, and I highly recommend getting the egg-rolls with the jalapeno ranch. 10/10! So sad we don't live local to make this an every week visit, but we will 1000% be visiting again. Great service, great vibes, and great food and people. Love this place!

Eggs Benedict and chicken tenders and fries

Sunday brunch. Would not go back for any reason. English muffin was taken out of its bag and served. No toasting no butter no warmth. Chicken tenders were tough despite the menu bragging about tender chicken soaked in buttermilk for 24 hours. Asked waitress about gravy for the chicken and waffle menu listing before placing order and was told, "oh no, who would do that? No. We have syrup." Wow. Shaming the customers ? Who does that? People are different. I get it, and if the food had been better I would have let it go. But I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Clyde's has great, friendly service, and very good food. It's the kind of place that makes American favorites, and I've found the burgers, brisket, and sides all very solid. It's got a wood-cabin feel inside, and the covered outdoor patio is great especially if one needs to find a location that's pup-friendly.

Prime rib special. Grilled cat fish

So we were visiting area, unfortunately it was Valentine's Day but we were early 4:30, we ended upstairs in bar area as it was an hour wait or more, very chaotic, the place was packed and bartenders and wait staff were running around. Things did quiet down and the wait staff changed their attitudes. The owner was very accommodating and always came to check on us. Food order was a bit slow but worth the wait. Prime rib special and cat fish dinner. Would go back when in the area.

As I sit here! This is hands down the best food we have had on our vacation!!!! We were curious about the fried avocado and it is super amazing. The brisket is competition level brisket. We had the meat sampler and it was so delicious. The pimento cheese is sharp and flavorful. The staff is friendly, welcoming and the food came out hot and quick

The server may have forgotten our ticket. Everyone around us received food before us....no big deal. I asked after 40 minutes how much longer on our 2 person ticket. She said. Oh you haven't gotten your food again not a big deal. What is a big deal is the attitude of the sever who came from downstairs later to bring our two plates up and say to our server "found their food". She brought it over and I said, I'm glad you found it jokingly.'zero empathy from her zero apology... she proceeds to walk over to another sever at the bar and mock me. Awkward. Hey, maybe the food will be good as I've eaten here twice before and it was ok. The owner was nice before when we visited. So, we came back. Anyway, my burger was dry as if it had been under a heat lamp and the sweet potato fries were burned beyond edible. Another very nice person came up and acknowledged the fries were burned and brought out more. Overall I felt as a customer I was a huge inconvenience to them. Unfortunately, a simple I'm sorry is free and would have cost them nothing. They could have just made it right and been kind.

This was my second visit to Clyde's and I loved it! Such a cute and cozy little spot in the heart of downtown Cleveland. Our server was so friendly and prompt, and she was very busy! My hubby enjoyed the wing special, and I loved my Brunswick stew and salad; Sweetwater 420 is now my new favorite. Great experience all around!

We stopped at Clyde's on our drive from the Atlanta airport to Helen and it was a great find. I had the brisket sandwich with red onion and pickles on Texas toast, absolutely delicious. They have a good variety of beers, and while the outdoor seating was full, the upstairs bar was really cool with a neat epoxy bar top. Great food and atmosphere, definitely worth the stop!

Cubano

Decent option in the middle of town. We came in on a rainy evening when the Christmas parade was happening right outside - so there was a 30 ish minute wait but we watched the parade while we waited. Started with some cornbread muffins - Nowhere near the best I've had, they were okay. The butter was unnecessarily sweet, and not needed in my opinion since the cornbread was moist enough on its own. I ordered a steak with a caesar salad & mac and cheese as the side and my husband ordered the Cubano. The salad was the best thing I ate! Cold, crisp, and with a lot of dressing. The steak was okay but really dry. My husband loved his sandwich but when we got back to our cabin he was immediately violently ill. So I'm not sure if something was undercooked or what happened but that was all he had eaten in many hours and he didn't develop a subsequent illness so it feels like it has to have been from something he ate here. Probably just a fluke and I don't think it necessarily indicates anything majorly bad about the restaurant but I can't rate it higher based on our experience.

Seating was roomy and comfortable. Bathroom clean. Our group got a variety of things from the menu and off menu. The pulled pork sandwich was right on. Couldn't eat all of so we saved it and ate it with some eggs at breakfast. Yum! The fried okra was hot and crunchy, and quite the serving. The little dish was heaped high with deliciousness. I got the Brunswick Stew, which was not on the menu, but on the specials board at the entrance. I never miss a chance to eat Brunswick Stew. It was just right. Not too spicy. Not too vinegary. I got a bowl and shared it. I also got the baked sweet potato. That was a real treat. The potato was hot and cooked to silky smooth. It's served with this brown sugar butter that made it a dessert. One our group got the fried apple pie with ice cream. I'm not a fan of fruit pies, but I did have a nibble of the crust. It was light and crispy. Not heavy, tough and crumbly as I've seen done by others in the mountains. I would almost eat a serving of fried crust dough. Serve with that butter for the sweet potato, and some ice cream-THAT would be awesome. On your way out don't forget to pick up some grits or pancake mix from Logan Mill. It's the only grits I serve at my house.

Today my husband and I went in about 2:00 and there were only a couple of people there. Mallory and Brittany both waited on us. However, the cook was more interested in talking to the customers including his daughter and granddaughter than doing his job. We had already eaten and were waiting on our waffle (which my husband likes to eat last). We waited and waited. The cook finally remembered he had a waffle cooking and, of course, it was burnt when. He went to get it. I watched him throw it away and start another one for us. Then he started showing a young girl his arm. Don't know why, but o very again he forgot about our waffle. I finally told Brittany that it should be ready and we didn't want it to burn again. She sent someone to check on it and when that same cook brought it to us, he said sorry about that. Well it wasn't yet burnt but more done than usual. Everyone working there was new since our last visit which was a shame because we have never had such bad service.
