This little pub is one of our go to places in Clarkesville and it never disappoints! The food is very good and the service is always friendly and fast. We love the wait staff and the local crowd that goes there regularly. It is our version of Cheers! The Rubin is excellent and we always enjoy the tater tots. Came here today for lunch and it was very good. The service was quick to seat us even on a busy day. It's always a positive to me when I come to a restaurant on an odd hour and it's still filled up with patrons. The food was fresh I loved my patty melt and the pimento burger was very good as well. Would be a perfect 5/5 but the sweet potatoes fries definitely needed some sort of salt they just came out fried and nothing else. Will definitely be back for more though. read more

On advice from my hairdresser (who grew up here) the Reuben did not disappoint. She said it was the best in all of North Georgia, and it most certainly was. OTP is an iconic spot on the Square in Clarksville. Wait staff is very friendly, and the food, while typical "bar & grill" fare, is always prepared well, and superb. One of my grandsons had a burger last year, and still talks about it being the best he's ever had. My favorite is Teryakj wings and the onion rings, simply terrific. read more

The food was pretty good. I got a Caesar chicken salad but stole a bite of a fried pickle spear from my daughter, good stuff. My only issue was they charged me an 18% fee for my family of six but then still expected a tip on top of that. My brother and I had just completed a section hike on the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina on Sunday morning and were traveling south to our home in Florida. I did a search for the best hamburger close by, and this restaurant came up as highly recommended. Needless to say, we were not disappointed! We were two very hungry guys after a long four-day hike and the food was excellent! We ordered the house burger with tater tots with an appetizer portion of onion rings. Very nice place, with friendly staff, good food, and a fully stocked bar. They have a very nice bourbon selection, which is my drink of choice. The atmosphere is great, big screen TVs on sports, and nice clientele as well. The locals and transients such as myself frequent this place. The music is varied, and really good. I seem to hear at least one song I really like, and haven't heard in a while each time I go. I eat there when nearby at least once a week. You should give it a try. I'd recommend reservations in the warmer months, as Clarksville is a summertime destination. read more

We wanted to try a new place in Clarksville & came to the Old Towne Pub for lunch. It was a late lunch so it was pretty quiet, nice pub atmosphere. We ordered the Fish N Chips and a Bacon Cheeseburger. Both items came out quickly and they were just ok, nothing special really. Staff were very nice but easily distracted by friends in the pub. We've been by Old Towne Pub twice now. Lovely little place to stop by for some food, drinks, and friendly service. The ciders are great! The husband has been enjoying trying a couple new beers. We love OTP. It's become a favorite. The prices are in line with the pub fare they offer. The food is always good. We enjoy coming here the most because of the way we are treated. The staff is friendly and most of them recognize us and that makes us feel welcomed. Margaritas here are awesome and they have good draft beers on a rotation. read more

I've been here 3 times now, I loved everything before. Tonight, I stopped wanting to get their tenders rolled in mild, and fried pickles, and coleslaw. I adore the fried pickles, had them every time, still great. Slaw was ok, I moved along. I ordered mild sauce, the bartender argued with me, I let the guy beside me, try them he agreed, they were very hot. No where near mild. The guy beside me orders hot and they are never hot, but my mild tender were far spicier than the hot ones he gets. Then I heard the bartender talking crap about me needing to dip them in ranch, well I did. I told her to put both on my tab, and I tipped $15 on $35. So I literally hope this kills her bad attitude with kindness. read more

Ordered bang bang shrimp as an appetizer and the shrimp was almost black it was so burnt when we finally got it and the shrimp was shriveled up and clearly burnt as well. Also Ordered two House Salads which took 45 minutes when the restaurant was empty. Very disappointed, Wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

To me the food and everything was amazing me and my husband never have a problem except for when Dorothy is our server. She tends to disappear quite a bit and it's never like that. Tonight she asked my husband if he'd like another beer he said yes I'll take a miller light she says no problem and she disappeared never giving him his drink she's done this multiple times! And his little sister even needed a refill and never got it either. When my father in law went to ask the sweet girl at the counter for his check our waitress was just standing up there. Keep in mind we've been waiting for their drinks for over 20 minutes. I don't even think she put his order in the bar. It's just a bit frustrating considering these girls who work here work hard and it's unfair to see them pull her weight. And we've had servers tell us specifically how when they work together they are always pulling her weight. It's an amazing place and is family friendly I'd just try not to have Dorothy as my server. read more

I've been here several times and it consists of typical pub style food. So it is good, but expect your typical fare. The drinks were always the best part of the visit until a recent visit. Our waitress sat our party of three at a 6 seater table. We ordered a drink that me and my friend had both had had previously and loved, and were both surprised at how disappointing the drink was this time. We mentioned this to our waitress and she suggested that we take our drink up to bartender ourselves (as many people had been complaining) and that maybe it would help if a customer complained themselves. The lady we spoke with (maybe the manager) told the bartender and she remade our drinks and they were much better. We ordered and ate and were finishing our drinks when the bartender came up, started wiping up our table and told us they'd we would need to go as she needed our large table for a party of 6. Mind you, we still had drinks in our hand, chatting quietly. So pretty much, we were being punished for complaining about our drinks. We left and sadly, although others in the pub employees had always been nice, we won't be returning. We are within walking distance and always brought friends here to eat and have a cocktail but would rather go elsewhere so that he aren't rushed out or made feel unwelcome. read more

I would rate ZERO stars if it were possible. I literally left this place. We attempted to eat at this place as we were passing through town and it had great reviews. UNFORTUNATELY. We didn't bother sitting to eat. As we were greeted at the door by a waitress who glared at myself and my service dog. She proceeded to say "dogs aren't allowed in here" it needs to be trained because you can just by that patch on the internet" when I informed the lady I was actually in fact a disabled veteran and my dog was a very well trained service dog. The lady said "well I'll put you right over there" next to the door.... I completely understand places having the right to serve customers with service animals, and I understand that people have abused the service dog/animal privilege... but to greet someone at the door this way was pretty rude. I'm only worthy enough to sit next to the door away from anyone else? You know I remember learning about a lady who refused to move to the back of the bus over the color of her skin... guess what. You didn't get my money. And I'll never eat here. Treat people with more respect and kindness it goes along way. read more
