I was here as a tourist during Oktoberfest and I'd stay it is exactly a 3-star spot. Everything was "OK", but not much really stood out. They have a few TVs to watch sports but nobody really seemed to know what was on or how to change the channel. There was live music. And it was "OK". The service was "OK". The food was "OK". Again, everything was OK. I think what I liked the most was the deck aspect. It is smack in the middle of downtown and right on the river. I would have liked to have seen a few more beers on tap. I'm not opposed to going back. I just don't see this being my first choice.

Great karaoke, and cold beer on the river. It also serves food but we didn't eat at this time.A fun evening for The Working Man Review.

I'll start off by saying this restaurant had a great view and plenty of outdoor seating. The service was okay. The waitress came promptly to our table to take our orders. After receiving our orders she only came back once to check-in, which was fine since we didn't need anything. Now to the food....the food was very bland. The table doesn't have any condiments on it nor does it have salt and pepper. So if you want to add anything you have to ask. My fries came out hot and tasted fine, however the shrimp lacked flavor and had a breading on it that I did not prefer. My parents stated that their flounder was a small portion and lacked flavor as well. We all ended up having leftovers because we didn't enjoy the taste. Next time, I'd skip this place and try something else.

Cute place, great location off the river. Had brats and chips. The brat was big, juicy and very tasty. Sitting on the deck you overlook the river and see the tubers coming down the river. The service was great, our server very friendly. We also had a dog and they are very dog friendly. Don't miss stopping for a great brat and a beer!

NOT the most AMAZING choices of beer, or food. Food is dive bar level. BUT, the service and views are on point!!! Reasonable prices... for Helen. Expect EVERYTHING in Helen to be overpriced for basic b!tch food. #facts Real talk tho... KARAOKE NIGHT is fun A.F. especially with the river seating!

Came here for a snack and a drink before dinner. It did not disappoint. The drinks were strong and fairly priced. Ordered the pierogis for the snack and they weren't bad. Had good flavor and were just the right amount of crispiness! Service was pretty good. The service/bartender was really nice! The music was good and the location was great! Seating available right on the river!

When I saw the price for the veggie burger I figured it must be homemade, nope, frozen patty and definitely not worth $19. The fries and tater tots were good and a pretty view overlooking the water but way overpriced for what you get.

First time in Helen, several places offered similar menus so we just stopped here. There's a beautiful view of the Chattahoochee river from the deck. Food was nothing special. I didn't enjoy it much but the food was definitely fresh and hot though. Our server was very nice as well offering some recommendations on their beer. I'd say pricing is moderate, we spent about $50 but there is a "destination fee" along with another tax on there.

It was a Tuesday night, which turned out to be wing night with wings that were a reasonable price. I also went for the fish and chips, which were fair. The wings were quite tasty, and they have a decent variety of sauce flavors to choose from which is a good thing. I also went for the street corn, which was excellent. We were sitting out on the porch, and the weather was good. Noise was kept to a minimum so we were able to talk without having to shout, which I consider to always be a good thing. The food was good, our wait staff were decent, and we were very happy with our experience. If we are in the area again, we would certainly return.

Worst part of my week in Helen…read more I should preface this by stating that I was with my family and that's what we were looking for. If you're looking for beer:30 and bikers, ignore the rest of this review. The food was horrible. Bacon burger was clearly pre-cooked, bacon was thin and right out of a Sysco box. Reuben was DISGUSTING. My young twins shared a chicken fingers meal and the bite I had was really good. Sodas were in cans and were $2 each! For that little slice o' heaven meal I had the privilege of thumping down nearly $40. Smokers are everywhere. Nice view of the river, however. After sitting down and getting to the business of choking down the food, two locals in the early 30s sat next to us, beers in hand, smoking cigarettes, and sporting crappy homemade jailhouse ink then proceeded to drop every F-bomb variation you can think of at the passing tubers. I'm no shrinking violet having been in the Navy, but my kids were clearly right next to me and it was obnoxious. I went to ask them to knock it off but the cook (who was on a smoke break himself) beat me to it. These gents were clearly known quantities. Overall, if you want a lil' mini-Sturgis, this might be the spot for you. If you are looking for a meal, take a pass. If you have kids or appreciate a non-smoking section, take a pass.

Those idiots that worked the door kinda sucked, although I'm sure they were just 'doing their job'. we were at the bar all day (giving them PLENTY of money) and decided we wanted a funnel-cake. We went out, grabbed one, and they wouldn't let us bring them inside. So we started eating them outside and they whined that we were too close to the building. Seriously? 4 stars if they made it a little less like a standard bar, didn't charge a cover to get in and were 'cooler' to their patrons.

Ended up using the back of the booth for our water bottle and condiments and still struggled for space. Buffalo wings were good but not exactly Buffalo. No buttery spicy hot sauce. Cheese dip was also excellent but we (and the table next to us) had to ask for more chips. Not portioned terribly well. Beer options were very slim (2 on tap from what it gathered). This time we came after hiking all day and sat outside with our dogs. Ambiance-touristy Irish pub. It's a big place that still tries to be Irish-ish. They fail but it's a worthwhile effort and people seem to like it. One issue with the design-it's a huge place but they have 2-single person bathrooms-one next to the bar and one on the second floor. I don't even understand how you get a building permit with that occupancy and so few bathrooms. My wife and I each got a burger, sub veggie patty. They are getting 2 stars for the fact they don't upcharge for the vegan patty. Everyone upcharges for a veggie burger, so this is an impressive give-a-way to customers. However, I added mushrooms and roasted red peppers, which added $2 each, and gluten free sandwich bread, which was a $5 upcharge. First, those veggies should not be a $2 upcharge each. That's obnoxious. Your menu burgers have toppings and are cheaper than a plain burger with 2 veggies. But, I am not taking stars away for the upcharge. I saw them, I accepted them. My problem is that with those changes, this was a $25 burger at an Irish pub in north GA and it tasted like a $5 burger from an Irish pub in north GA. It was dry, unseasoned, and very bland. You charged me $5 for 2 slices of bread from a loaf that costs $7.99 retail. A red pepper is $0.75 cents, maybe, retail, and for a couple teaspoons you charged me $2. Who knows what mushrooms cost, but the point is, for two toppings and sub 2 slices of sandwich bread, you charged me for a high-end steakhouse burger and served me a terrible backyard grill burger. On top of that, I ordered a whiskey (knob creek) on the rocks. On my check was a $2 rocks charge. So...you charged me $2 for ice? It makes no sense. It's the same amount of liquor. When I asked the server about it, she said because they pour an extra 2 ounces in. Obviously she lied because she had no clue what she was talking about. First, why would adding ice equal and extra 2 ounces? Maybe if I asked for an up martini or something, but I am adding volume, so why would you also add liquor? Second, my whiskey was $13 and a restaurant shot is 1, maybe 1.5 ounces. Do you really mean to tell me you gave me an extra 2 shots, maybe an extra 1.33 shots of a $13 liquor for $2 only because I asked for ice? I'm not an idiot. So, poor food, lying service, and unreasonable upcharges. I'm not coming back
