I had a long review I just deleted because it went into too much detail, so here's the quick rundown. Summer/2023 celebrating my daughter's birthday weekend. Our rental was walking distance to Mondays so we all(group of 7) go there Friday night around 9:30ish and the younger 5ppl in our group go back on Saturday night around 11:30ish Friday: 7 of us walk in and we took turns buying rounds of shots. 5 rounds and I forget what the amount was but everyone should've paid the same since nobody ordered anything different. So be wary of pricing. Redneck women started fighting over a man. Got me wet from when a woman threw her drink in the other woman's face. Even though, from what I witnessed, the owner sided with the woman who was instigating. I'm sure they were friends because she called the cops on the woman who was actually minding her own business. But that drama was loud and went on for a bit. The owner or whoever she was couldn't contain herself and kept the stupid drama going for longer than it should have gone. It's very smoky too. I'm a smoker and was glad to be somewhere that lets you smoke inside. But it was too smoky! None of the kids smoke, but it bothered me more than it did them. After a little more than an hour, we leave and the only bad thing about that night wasn't even the fight. It was the inconsistent prices and also the owners bad attitude. Saturday: The kids(kids to me, they're in their 30's) go by themselves and it's our last night. We have a fire going outside and wasn't expecting the kids back so soon. But when I saw one of the girls crying, I wanted to burn Mondays down to the ground. I was pissed because while sitting by the fire, I started reading reviews from Yelp, Google, and another site talking about how bad that Pub is and warning ppl to stay away. So here they come back stomping and mad. The one girl was so mad and humiliated that she was crying. A lot of reviews also say that the owner has corrupt cops in her pocket and sometimes they stay there because she'll call them for any reason and the customer gets thrown out for nothing. You'd think they'd remember customers that spent quite a bit the night before and left plenty of tips too. But they all said it seemed like a switch flipped from the night before. Of the 5 kids, one was a gay male, 2 black girls, 1mixed Asian/white girl, and 1 mixed Asian/black girl. They all have doctorate degrees except one and she has a bachelor's degree. So these kids aren't stupid and all have manners but came back feeling like they were being bullied by a bunch of red neck, drunk, homophobes who are friends of the owners. And it's been a while since this happened and I wasn't there, but long story short, the owner got her cop friend to escort them out because one of them questioned the bartender about the price of a drink and they got overly defensive about it and instead of being courteous, they chose to cause a lot of their own drama. I hate giving local businesses a bad review, but this place deserves 0 stars and the owner needs someone to slap some humble upside her head. She's killing her own business. I will never spend another dime in that sorry place. read more

We stayed in Helen for the weekend and this was our go to bar! You can smoke inside.. you stink later though. They have good service and make good shots. We got chips and queso, potato skins, and hamburger sliders. None of the food was good. They have big screen tvs, you can shoot pool, and on Sunday night they had karaoke ! I would like for others to be informed of the atmosphere and service we received after my husband read the reviews and thought this may be a good place to go for supper tonight. You walk into a heavy smoke filled room when you walk into the restaurant/bar. Because we didn't want to be around it while eating. We were taken outside on the porch to a patio table that had bird poop in various places on the table and chairs. I said something about it but the waitress acted indifferent about it. I ordered a hamburger steak with onions and mushrooms and a baked potato and a side salad. We waiting about 30 minutes for the food to arrive and when it did, I was given a hamburger patty that was burnt. No onions or mushrooms and no salad. So I prepped my potato with the butter and sour cream given. I went ahead and started eating my potato and did not touch the hamburger patty. The waitress finally came by to check and ask us if everything looked good. I looked down at the plate and looked at her. She said you didn't get your toppings for your hamburger steak and I said I didn't get a salad either. She then said"Oh, I was wrong, you don't get a salad with your hamburger steak meal, it would be extra. So I didn't order you one. Wow!! I wasn't even given a choice to pay extra for the salad. She states I am going to go tell them to get your toppings for your hamburger steak (patty) to be brought to you. I waited 20 more minutes for the toppings to arrive by Butch in kitchen that angrily put it on the table and said in a gruff voice "Here you go", no I am sorry about that or for the wait. Well, with that gruffness, I wondered what could have happened to my toppings on the way out to the table? I didn't want to find out. So I ate my cold burnt hamburger patty with A1after finishing my potato. The waitress never came back to make sure we got everything or to even bring our check to us. My son had to go ask for it. We didn't get refills on our drinks at all. The loud motorcycle club that was on the porch was very loud. Not what I was expecting at all. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant. Exceptional service two days in a row! This family-owned business, run by a mother, father, and son, offers unmatched hospitality. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area. They have a great selection of bourbons, allow smoking indoors, and serve delicious food. And once again, the service was incredible. My husband and I both ordered burgers, lone with fries his with tots. The best parts for me was the ranch and pickle, and his was the tots..... sad right? The burger appeared to be premade Pattie's, with no seasoning. Not even salt or pepper. Now I appreciate the fries being cut in house but they either need to be cut smaller or fried longer bc they were undercooked. One star bc the food was below average and I have to go inside their bar to pay when we ate outside. My issue with that is I ate outside bc there is smoking allowed in the bar and I can't handle all that smoke. So going inside to pay makes no sense to me. read more

Excellent spot on the outskirts of town. My server Tara is absolutely amazing! You have a cigar lounge, a restaurant, a dive bar, pool tables, darts everything you could ask for in a local bar. And on top of it they have amazing food. Definitely recommend! read more

We had such a good time here at Mondays. Live band at Open mic night on Monday night was so much fun. Good musians that enjoyed playing. Great selection of whiskey and cigars. Seems it might be an OK place that was the only thing listed as being open late on a weekday off-season, but on a Thursday night in Oct 2022, we (group of 6) could not stand to be in there for over 30 seconds with the amount of cigarette smoke. The place reeked and just wasn't tolerable. read more

Wow. That says it all. Is it a bar. Yep !!! But the service and the food. Might as well been fine dining. The two waitresses were so attentive we didn't have to ask for one thing. Then came the pepper Jack cheese sticks ... I can't explain they were the size of half of a corn on the cob and the breading was just perfect so crispy. Next we shared the Italian wrap again AMAZING .. then decided to try the wings they were perfectly crispy with lemon pepper. The homemade ranch just added to the food bliss we were in. Fast... great location ... great outdoor seating ...DELICIOUS !!! Seriously not "bar" food quality. Keep it up !!! We will be back thank you !!!! read more

VERY SMOKY (cigarette) atmosphere. If you don't smoke you may want to pass this place. Once you get passed the overwhelming stench, the staff try to be helpful. I think that the description of the"Jumbo Shrimp" on a skewer is incorrect. Maybe "Large Shrimp", but truly not Jumbo. Tasted fine, but for$13, I expect a little more food on the plate, delivered by the kitchen staff. Grilled cheese sandwich was tasty, even if it didn't come with the sides described in the menu. The smoke...oh my goodness, the smoke...I had to wash my hair and clothes multiple times to get the cigarette stench out. It was ridiculously loud, with painfully bad karaoke, and did I mention how thick and gross the smoke was inside? Visiting from out of town. We stopped in for drinks and food. Limited bar, limited food. Sunday football and all the TVs on the same channel. Smokey, nasty and rude older woman behind the bar.
