There's also corn hole, a giant chess set, and space for a live performer. The only things I think could be improved is that I wish it was cleaner. We came in the evening and both the tables and ground could've used a wipe down and sweep. Also, there's a 25% gratuity charge automatically added to the bill.

We had seen your steakhouse from the road and pulled in specifically to discuss with my wife and family whether we wanted to have dinner there that evening. Within approximately 30 seconds of pulling into a parking space, a gentleman wearing a black security shirt approached my window and asked if I intended to have dinner at the restaurant. I explained that we had just pulled in and were discussing as a family whether we were going to stay. He informed me that there was a $20 parking fee, which would supposedly be reimbursed on our dinner check. I thanked him, rolled up my window, and he returned to his booth. At that point, my wife and I were having a conversation about whether our little boy, who has autism, would be able to handle the evening. We were simply trying to make a thoughtful decision about whether dinner at your restaurant was going to be a good experience for our entire family. Less than 90 seconds after our initial interaction, the security guard came marching back to my window and demanded that I leave. I asked him, "I can't stay?" He responded in an arrogant and dismissive tone, "Only if you intend on eating here." At that point, he made the decision very easy for me. If a parking space is more important than giving a potential customer a couple of minutes to discuss with his family whether they are going to dine at your restaurant, then you don't need or deserve my family's business. Thankfully, we pulled out and found a wonderful little German restaurant, Hofbräuhaus Restaurant & Pub, just down the street. The staff there was welcoming and courteous, and we ended up having a fantastic dining experience. What struck me most about the entire situation is that my family wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. We were potential customers who had just arrived and were trying to decide whether your restaurant was the right place for us that evening. One restaurant made a concerned father feel like he mattered. That was not your restaurant. I hope management will take a serious look at how customers are being treated before they ever make it through your front door. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, ours was enough to ensure that my family and I will not be returning

Craft beer is $8.99, domestics are $3.89, and they have PBR on draft for $3.50, nice! They also carry a great selection of 500 ml bottle German beer. I had to get an Ayinger Dunkel and followed that up with a PBR, which gave me a nice happy buzz while we shopped around. Their weekly bar menu has a special for each day and the items range between $10-$12, which isn't bad at all. We didn't order any food but the food that was coming out looked great. Staff were friendly and efficient; I would definitely return again if I was ever back in Helen. One thing to note is this bar is not very big so it can fill up quick during festivals and on the weekend, they do have some tables out on the patio and I'm sure the party can expand out to the lot; regardless, Betty's Porch is a great little hangout spot in Helen and I recommend them.
