This was my first time at huddle house. I am an avid Waffle House fan. It is very similar with a cleaner place and way more workers. All though the waffle is not as good as the GOAT Waffle House waffle it is very very good. The price is slightly cheaper and fun to add biscuits and gravy to the mix. This has always been my favorite Huddle House. The staff are great and always on their toes as they serve customers. No matter how few or how many people are there they are on the ball. Today my husband and I went in about 2:00 and there were only a couple of people there. Mallory and Brittany both waited on us. However, the cook was more interested in talking to the customers including his daughter and granddaughter than doing his job. We had already eaten and were waiting on our waffle (which my husband likes to eat last). We waited and waited. The cook finally remembered he had a waffle cooking and, of course, it was burnt when. He went to get it. I watched him throw it away and start another one for us. Then he started showing a young girl his arm. Don't know why, but o very again he forgot about our waffle. I finally told Brittany that it should be ready and we didn't want it to burn again. She sent someone to check on it and when that same cook brought it to us, he said sorry about that. Well it wasn't yet burnt but more done than usual. Everyone working there was new since our last visit which was a shame because we have never had such bad service. read more

Well it started out well. Wife reports no TP in bath room and not as clean as expected. Waitress was very helpful being this is our first time at the Huddle House. They had a $$5.99 menu that my wife ate from. Just the right amount of good for her. She enjoyed the sausage gravy very much and it was good. I had the meat lover's omelette for brunch. The staff (waitresses) are warm, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had breakfast food and it was cooked well. The ham and cheese omelette was delicious, as were the grits. My father had the All-Star breakfast and it was more than he could eat. Well done! read more

Huddle House Cleveland Ga was down home perfect. We came in on my birthday last night (45th) around 7pm for a quick meal before heading up the mountain for my birthday hooch. I wanted a burger. I needed a burger! We were immediately seated and served drinks within a minute. Coffee, I need coffee stat. #facts We ordered the bacon burger, mine with extra bacon and tots well done. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. I told the server, Jesse, that it was my birthday. While seated all the ladies / staff were friendly and offered the hometown "conversation" we desire. We stated that we just moved in the area and Amber the Aquarius wrote down all the must see places. Love that! Then my birthday song and Sunday (vanilla ice cream / chocolate syrup) happened. That's what I wanted. A Taurus is ALL about their birthday fun - at least this one is. I felt like a kid = yay! I was smiling and clapping. This IS the kind of place I wanted for my middle aged celebration. Nobody batted an eye when I put my hands up in the air at the completion of my birthday song and shouted TRUMP 2024! A resounding "Woohoo" came from the other guests. Fun! Then another guest (Tim) came over and asked my guy about what ships he was on (Navy talk - my guy was wearing his hat). Amber asked Tim if he knew of anything or any places we can check out. Apparently, there is a thing going down at a church next Sunday and my guy got excited. This place is basically a mix of an IHOP and Waffle House. The seating and venue is styled like a Waffle House, but the food is more IHOP style. I ordered the garden omelette. It came with veggies like mushrooms and peppers on the inside and hash browns and toast on the side. It was super tasty and super filling! I would totally order this again. I also got the jalapeño popper basket as an appetizer. It came with fries and some amazing jalapeño peppers that taste SO good when they're dipped in ranch (I know sounds odd, but trust me!). We also ordered the strawberry French toast and substituted the bacon for hashbrowns and got some scrambled eggs with it. The French toast was pretty good and the strawberries were killer. Only note about this one is that the toast wasn't really fluffy. Other than that, definitely recommend this place to someone looking for some good breakfast at a cheap price! We came in sunday morning we were greeted from waitress to cook to lady washing dishes Food came out fast and was good as usual. Service was great - very attentive. They topped off my coffee at least 4 times. I am impressed with the whole crew of Huddle House.i love how we can watch them move around each other and help each other out.not one member of that team was not doing something . We always come before church and it is something we will keep coming every Sunday morning . Kids love sitting at the bar top and talking to the person washing dishes and watching the cooks make the movie . we will tell others to come by for sure .great job everyone .the place was clean and love the country songs playing in the back. The food was ehh but my main concern is that some of the food attracting to kids like the cookies and cream pancakes were 1000 calories just for the pancakes and about 1300 calories for pancakes and eggs and bacon. The service was alright but they didn't come by much I know it was busy but the only came for orders of food and drinks and bringing us the items. This was my first time doing the huddle. I really liked this location. It was new, fresh, and all of the staff was super friendly, not just our waitress. I ordered some pancakes and some grits and they were excellent. The pancakes were quite large and the syrup was tasty. My husband had the southern smothered biscuit platter with turkey sausage. He absolutely loved it. He said the gravy was smooth and had lots of flavor. I mean who wants lumpy gravy? The biscuits were nice and fluffy. We are definitely looking forward to having our own Huddle House open here in our town of Saraland. read more

My husband and I went to this place on 9/5 at 4:30 PM. There was a total of 4 customers in the place when we walked in. One man at the bar, one at a table, a couple at a table, and the two of us at a table. There was a lady cook, a lady server talking to the cook and a lady server taking an order from the couple. We were not spoke to, not even acknowledge and we waited for about 10 minutes being patience!!! After about another 5 minutes without even an "we will be right there"or anything, we got up and left. You can always tell how good a huddle is by how busy they are. This place has s always busy! Me and my wife stopped in on our way back from Blairsville. It was late and this was the only place open that we could sit down and eat. This is as our first time here but always noticed how busy it was when we would pass by. The service was fast and the staff very friendly. I had a cheesesteak omelette and my wife had a blt. The food was delicious. The omelette had plenty of meat and cheese. Sometimes that's the problem with omelettes they don't have any thing in the middle just a bunch of fluffy eggs. The blt has plenty of bacon and it came on Texas toast and was very tasty. Went to Huddle House with my wife on 12/30/22. We both had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes, she had vegetables and I had Mac and cheese. What can I say? The steak was so tender you could cut it with a fork, the mash potatoes were real, not instant. My wife said the veggies were steamed to perfection, and the mac and cheese was made with real cheese. The waitress was real friendly, as was the girl that took my payment. The restaurant was like a Waffle House, come in and sit wherever you can, which really isn't a bad thing. Overall, this place was okay. To start off, if you like butter this is the place to go, but if not it ain't. If you like chocolate chip, waffles, you have to separately order chocolate chips on them and then when you get your waffle with chocolate chips on it and they put butter on it and then they put chocolate chips on it. When we asked him to take the butter off of my chocolate chip waffle, all they did was go back and flip over the waffle and act like they took the butter when in reality they didn't. I also got grits, but they tasted like a frog send out a lily pad in the middle of the desert specifically the Sahara desert for your information. They were also behind the counter talking about things they shouldn't have talked about in front of kids probably.
