    Cheeseburger and fries
    Raul G.

This review will be short because well, there just isn't much to say. SMITH'S SODA SHOP in Cleveland GA had been on my radar to try for a few years now and I finally had the chance to take a ride and check them out. This is your classic diner type of experience with stand alone chairs facing the cooks over the counter and a few booths, very small inside. They are huge COCA-COLA fans and have a bunch of memorabilia on their walls, pretty cool. Their double cheeseburger was small in size but juicy, but lacked anything that would make it special. Their fries are OK and have a steak cut to them which means they have to be well cooked or they'll be soggy and my preference is crispy and well done, which this was not. The young lady that took my order was either having a bad day or just didn't like bikers because friendly customer service was just not there. She took my order, said nothing then brought my meal and said nothing... that was the extent of her customer service. There was an older gentlemen and lady in there as well helping other guests and they seemed very friendly and pleasant though. When I was done eating I was quite embarrassed because they do not accept cards which I did not realize before sitting down, ordering and eating my meal. They kindly allowed me to leave their establishment to get some cash (INGLES around the corner) and come back to pay my fair share of their meal. The meal was very small but so was the cost so you have to take that into account. The views on the way there can be spectacular if you avoid the main roads and just take a few back roads. If you're in the area and give them a try let me know what you're experience is like and what type of service you get! I'd be curious to know but make sure you bring cash!! Roli's Rating: 1. Service: 5/10, My waitress didn't care about customer service but I saw the other staff interacting and being friendly with their guests plus I was allowed to go grab cash and told, with a smile "no problem at all, we'll be here". I suppose service will depend on who you get as your server 2. Price: 10/10, Their meals are on the smaller side but you'll easily be able to get a burger, fries and a drink for about $6 3. Location and Parking: 7/10, Location isn't too bad as this location is right down the road from the downtown Cleveland area. Parking isn't too bad either although I can see it getting a little tight when busy 4. Cleanliness: 10/10, Place seemed to be pretty clean 5. Health Rating: A 6. Roli Overall Rating: 5/10, Ok spot to stop by only if you're in the immediate area **Roli's Recommendations** BURGERS, CHILI CHEESE HOT DOGS

Such a cute restaurant! I was so looking forward to dining…read moreat this restaurant. The presentation of each dish was amazing and appetizing! They use lots of colorful vegetables and sauces! But everything was very salty. I mean....very very salty killing the natural flavors of ingredients. I ordered a grilled fish but it came cold. I paid $36 for it.....very disappointed. However, my daughter's and husband's dishes were hot. We tried to get attention from our waitress but it was so hard. We called her several times but she kept walking away. The dessert was so pretty! Since we were full, we shared one dessert. I wish I could eat more different desserts... It was a little pricey for us. But for a special occasion, it's a good idea to visit this restaurant. But please mention not to use too much salt in meals.

Harvest Habersham is the best restaurant in the area. You need reservations. My review is a summary…read moreof the half a dozen times we have been there. We go here for birthdays, anniversaries, and we have been to a couple of wine dinners. I would like to stay this is five stars because sometimes you get the best thing you have ever eaten. Like the cheddar cornbread in the photos. It was so good. Also there was the time they had the pork chop. OMG. But my review is an average of several meals. Looking through photos here, last time I had a steak that was really good on one end on ok on the other. It's not exactly a crudités but the appetizer we had was good and honestly too big. The pickled vegetables were too sour for me to eat all that. The menu is different every day and you do not know in advance what it will be so good luck! There will usually be a couple things on the menu to satisfy most everyone. The restaurant itself is in what appears to be a remodeled old house. It is cozy but not tight or cramped. If you want to try the wine dinner see if you can get on the mailing list. It is wines paired with multiple courses. I have always enjoyed the food but again it is huge. I was so bloated after the last one because yes I could have stopped eating but the food was too good to not eat it.

I'm not a fan of pimento cheese so I subbed it out for Swiss cheese instead and I got jalapeños on the side since I don't like spicy either. I got my burger cooked medium and it came out with the perfect amount of pink on it. I got sweet potato fries as my side which were really tasty. My friend got the fillet with a side of Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. I think everyone's favorite item was the Brussels they tasted great! Our server was Brooke. She did a great job serving us. She was quick and accommodating. She was very kind and attentive.

We booked an overnight stay at Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard from Sunday to Monday. Dahlonega Restaurant is located in the resort. We made brunch reservations for 1:30 PM that Sunday. First and foremost, the view is absolutely breathtaking! As soon as you pull in to the resort, you are immediately overwhelmed by the property's beauty. I had to ask hubs to drive slow, so I could record on video and take it all in. The view gets better when you reach the top where the restaurant is. It was a beautiful day, so we asked to be seated outside. We started with drinks, mimosa for me and beer for the hubs. I can't put into words how good it feels to have brunch AT a restaurant, especially on a patio on a beautiful day. Customers were seated at least 6 feet away from each other and the staff wore masks. They also limited access to the inside of the restaurant - enter through the main door, but exit out of the side door. For our main entrees, hubs ordered the Southern eggs benedict $16 and I the frittata $14. The eggs benny came with a side of potato hash. Hubs enjoyed it. My frittata had roasted mushrooms, goat cheese and mixed greens on top. It was absolutely delicious! However, I was left wanting more. The small portion was disappointing, especially for $14. I decided not to order more food since we were heading to their wine garden afterwards, and they serve food there, too. Service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. This was our first brunch experience at a restaurant since the quarantine, and despite the small portion, the overall experience was wonderful! The restaurant closes at 3 PM on Sundays and re-opens on Tuesdays.
