We walked in at the last minute and didn't realize it was closing time. Once I did, I was horrified and told them to put everything in to go boxes instead of sitting and eating. They insisted that we stay. I'm glad we did because we got to see something I rarely see. They don't just wipe the top of their tables. They clean underneath them and wipe the bottoms of the table tops. I almost cried. This made me feel so happy about this choice. We are forever customers. Helen Georgia~ Cute lil cafe! I had the fried green tomato salad. I love fried green tomatoes. These were nicely breaded, but very mushy and tasteless tomatoes. Disappointing, but the rest of the salad, including their smoked Caesar salad dressing, was really delicious. Cornbread croutons topped off the salad and they were super yummy. Everyone else had a version of the smash burger. One person had chili cheese fries, one person had a gluten-free bun, someone else had regular fries, and one also had the Mexican street corn salad.
