Stopped in after our hike in Helen cause some of the locals recommended it to us. Everything was just alright. The place was pretty empty but the service was super slow. The pork was definitely the best thing we ordered but it was dry could use more sauce.

Ohhhh Yes! Love the food, unique, fun, and you can tell everything on the menu had thought put into it. You have to keep coming back because there's so many items I want to try! Everything we ate was delicious. Daughter had a burger, I had the nachos, husband had their fried chicken, son chicken fingers, other son had fish and chips. Omg the slaw is some of the best I've ever had!

Our server was great Food was good. I would recommend the chips & queso! Decent food, mostly decent prices. The music was fire AF though so if you go to dinner in hopes of taking in some awesome tunes, you'll be happy here I do want to add they might want to check some of their entitled younger staff members. We originally sat outside but there were two toddlers that started screaming and crying. They continued for over 5 minutes so I asked if we could move inside. Literally after only being sat for 7 minutes and our server had only brought us water. Coming from the industry I understand this creates an issue with servers and their sections so I get it but to have a server be rude and make a snide comment "well let me know if the next one is actually my table and I can have my section back" AS SHE WALKED PAST OUR TABLE was so incredibly uncalled for. But I do understand her frustration. But being rude to the customer bc another customer made a situation very unpleasant isn't how you should handle it. I almost left 3 stars bc of this but it's not fair to everything and everyone else there that was awesome

Helen Georgia~ Cute lil cafe! I had the fried green tomato salad. I love fried green tomatoes. These were nicely breaded, but very mushy and tasteless tomatoes. Disappointing, but the rest of the salad, including their smoked Caesar salad dressing, was really delicious. Cornbread croutons topped off the salad and they were super yummy. Everyone else had a version of the smash burger. One person had chili cheese fries, one person had a gluten-free bun, someone else had regular fries, and one also had the Mexican street corn salad. All agreed that the burgers were juicy and delicious! Sides were good too! Definitely would recommend this place, even though the service was extremely slow. I think the guys made the food with love and patience.

After a fun afternoon making candles in Sautee Nacoochee we asked for lunch recommendations and this place sounded great. So we headed over to Helen for some burgers. There was a huge parking lot inside a plaza with other stores. Warning that my cell service was very intermittent while they to navigate here so plan ahead for directions. We took a seat and the menu had a lot of appetizing choices. We went with the smash burgers and they were delicious. The fries were well seasoned too. If I had room for dessert I would've kept going. I really wanted to try the campfire s'mores pie. The food was a 5/5. The service was good and attentive. My family and I were engaging In conversation and catching up with each other. Now this is where the lower rating comes in. We were politely asked to vacate our table after we had finished our food. We were deep in conversation and told that they were prepping for the dinner rush. I wouldn't say it is completely unfair to request this, however it wasn't the vibe we were going for. It did sour the experience the bit. If you are looking for a quick in and out meal, this is your place. The food is delicious and there are so many tempting things on the menu. However, if you are looking for a slower paced meal where you can chat and hang around a bit after, this is not the place.

This is the ribeye steak with Mac n cheese. So good!

We go here almost every weekend and the food and service is always AMAZING! I highly recommend the ribeye steak it's so juicy and just melts in your mouth, they also get all of their meat locally so it's great! I also recommend the chips and queso appetizer as well as the fried green tomatoes, they are hands down the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is also great with options to sit on the outdoor patio, it's great

We ordered the campfire smash and a plate of nachos. The burger was great! The nachos were an 8/10 for me, wonderful in house made chips but I do wish the toppings came with a little more meat, it felt a little stingy for the price. Flavor was great though! The restaurant is pretty small and our server was great, she gave us enough space and time to look over the menu without forgetting we were there. Would go again

Campfire delivers amazing food, great service and a relaxed atmosphere! We started with the fried green tomatoes; absolutely unique flavors with feta, balsamic and hot honey...I could not get enough of these! Next up, a perfectly prepared smash burger with fresh toppings and seasoned fries; well prepared and carefully crafted food that makes you want to eat every bite on the plate. Time is the most precious thing you have. We only had one night in Helen and plan to eat at campfire. When we arrived, we had to wait approximately 20 minutes, which is fine. When we were seated, they sat us in a back hallway right in front of the kitchen swinging door. The kitchen staff was blaring music, which started off the headache. I asked if we could move and she said sure. We ordered and then started to wait. And wait. And wait. She finally came over and said that she had forgot to put our order in and would I like a drink on the house. My wife suggested a martini and the waitress said, "yeah right". The waitress said she would bring me a tea. We waited another 30 minutes and never got our food. We got up and politely offered to pay for the salad that we had eaten. They said that's OK. I didn't time it, but I would say we sat there for about 45 minutes to an hour. They wasted our time and one night of our dinner in Helen. I have no idea if the food is any good. I will never know because I won't go back.

Food was pretty good! It wasn't too bad! Nice! The service was rather quick and they were really nice! The thing that stuck out to me the most was probably the look of the place! It makes me feel like I am having food in a house rather than a restaurant and I think that's pretty cool! The ambiance is pretty nice! If you are a countryman, I'd recommend you come to this place because there is country music playing and it feels pretty country like! Overall, nice restaurant!

Good burger or great burger? Great! In fact, I can't imagine a burger getting much better. Fries and mac n cheese were also very good. I am a fan.

Dog friendly, on the sidewalk. Waiter brought our pup water and a treat. All our food was amazing. Chicken Alfredo, fish n chips and Firebird chicken sandwich. Portions were great! Will was our server.

Wow! We were recommended this spot by the bartender at Bangkok Haus the night before. I am SO glad we tried it! Apart from being within walking distance of our hotel, the food was amazing! We started with the campfire nachos and could have almost stopped there! That was enough for 4 people easy!, see the picture. I had the smash-burger and it was near perfect. I will say that to my taste it was a little salty, but I also added no ketchup or mustard which would normally mask some of the saltiness. I didn't because it simply didn't need it! It was excellent. They have an option to add a third patty to it but I don't know how you could eat it! My wife had their ribeye. We questioned it a little at $37, and my wife is a bit of a steak snob as she cooks them so well at home, but she said she would buy it again! It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was about 14oz with no bone. And of the whole steak there was only one small piece of gristle. It cut like butter and needed nothing else. Also of note was the live music. It's a small space, but the music wasn't over the top or too loud. It added well to the meal . Overall VERY glad we tried it out. Provably would have never even known had it not been for the recommendation. Talk to your bartenders! It's worth it!.

What a great little gem in Helen, GA! We didn't want German food even though that's the traditional fare - this place had the best vibes ... small, kitschy decor without being too cute, and awesome but not overwhelming live music. I ordered the salmon and would recommend. The burgers were also branded - this was the first I've ever seen even though I've had the pleasure of many restaurants. The s'mores pie dessert was also (brownie in a graham crust with a roasted smore on top with caramel). The best thing on the menu was the street corn. read more

We ordered the bbq sandwhich and the bbq plate. My husband like the corn salad on his sandwhich and it was just ok to me as a side. I was recommended the Cole slaw over the Mac in cheese and it was just ok. The best thing on my bbq plate was the cornbread with hot honey and the pickled jalapeños ,that is what made the dish stand out. We went to campfire this week as we had heard a lot of good things about it. We got there in the early afternoon and the place was half full, and people seem to be enjoying themselves and their food. It's somewhat kitchy in appearance. Someone finally came to take our order and it took an appropriate amount of time to bring us our burgers. The burgers were good. The french fries were cold. We had heard about how good the french fries were and we were disappointed at that. We may be back but we may not. read more

This place is cute and has a nice vibe, and the staff was friendly at first. However, I had an issue with my server. I was ordering for my entire party of five and was clearly pointing at the menu items while saying the correct names. When the food came out, I realized I had been rung up for a kids' meal, which I never asked for. When I brought it up and pointed at the menu again, she said she thought I meant a kids' meal, but that was never mentioned and she never asked to clarify. They only have one dessert on the menu and it was sold out. While I understand that happens, if there is only one dessert option, it would make sense to have a better quantity available. The mac and cheese was very greasy, and the fryer oil needs to be changed because you can taste it. On a positive note, the ribeye was delicious and the mashed potatoes were pretty good. read more

Went on Dec 26. Crazy busy. Just 2 of us, got seated in 10 minutes. Very busy and hectic, but service was good. Ordered the smash burger with candied jalapeño. Best burger i have had! We usually try to take pics upon arrival; however these nachos didn't stand a chance.... And now normal nachos are forever ruined for us. The chips 10/10, the steak and pork 10/10, the best nachos we've ever had. Daughter had kids chicken Alfredo and ordered one to go. (She's picky) Service also great. Highly recommend. read more

The service was great and the quaint atmosphere was sit yourself and definitely very reminiscent of a campfire. From the seat yourself to the S'Mores and hospitality, I appreciated the concept. We had the smash burger, chili, a side caesar salad, the pulled pork sandwich and fries. The smash burger had the best sweet pickles and freshest tomatoes and lettuce. I actually want an entire jar of those sweet pickles, soo good. The burger was 4/5 as it was a bit dry but wasn't too filling and didn't leave you overstuffed, which I can appreciate. The dressing on the caesar salad was house made and what really set it off, it was the perfect size and had delicious cornbread croutons too. The cornbread croutons also came through with flying colors in the chili, had a lil kick to it too, just how I like. The service was also exceptional and they were very busy, orders were flying out and everyone who worked there was really accommodating, making the dining experience even more of a pleasure. Campfire is definitely a gem in Helen that's worth the visit for a tasty and fun, intentional menu. read more

We went there on a Saturday around 1pm and it was packed!I had the pull pork plate with mashed potatoes, corn something and sweet corn bread. The smoked pull pork was delicious with the pickled jalapeño! The corn something was a bit strange for me and the corn bread was rather dried. weekend getaway with hubby and son we were looking for a place to eat and found campfire. It is a sit yourself establishment with booths and table tops. our server was very nice. I can't remember her name, but she was able to recommend some popular dishes that we tried. My husband had the smash burger and he thought it was very good. Very flavorful. I had the Tuscan chicken with the Brussels and sweet potato Melody, which was also tasty. however, we got the spinach dip as an appetizer and it was not good at all. It was just too thick. What a great place to eat in Helen. Truly an exceptional meal. It took a minute to get waited on but they were very busy on a Friday night. It was WORTH THE WAIT!!!! My salad was amazing. My hubby had the chicken sandwich and said it was very good. We debated whether to got the smash burger or steak but the portions were huge! Others around us were enjoying them though!! Great food . The smash burgers are off the charts delicious and big. They make a delicious salmon fettuccine dish. Very friendly and the customer service is exceptional as well. Definitely a place to go to when in Helen. They have daily specials and a wide variety on their menu. Oh and the fried green tomatoes appetizers is nothing you have ever tasted before. Love love love! I ordered lunch from this place since they first opened several times. The nachos are out of this world!!!! That street corn, though! The smore dessert! I'm not a fan of s'mores and it's one of my favorite things! The flavors are thoughtful and individual lot stand out in every dish in the list delicious blend! Pathetic is all I have to say. We are in town for my mother's birthday, it was a busy night and we knew there would be a wait. so we put our name down and waited about 35-40 mins. Time goes by and we are taken inside and seated. A couple minutes later, the manager , I assume comes over to us and says that this table was wrongly given to us and we needed to leave. He said that a 12 top needed to fit here and there clearly was no room for that. He than quickly ran away from us. Very sad that your employees sat us and we were kicked out. We will be giving out business elsewhere. I work at a restaurant and this type of service is pathetic. We were very excited to go to this spot but clearly we will not be back. read more

The food was fine. Nothing great, as the chili was room temperature and the portions didn't seem worth the price. The trouble was the service. Once we got sat at our table, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came up to ask us for drinks. After we got waters, it took another 10 min for them to be delivered at our table. Our waitress took 5 minutes to get a side of ranch and kept forgetting about us throughout the meal. Wouldn't come back, it was just alright. read more

In a world (NE Georgia) of not great restaurants Campfire is a standout. I've been three times so far and headed there tonight for trivia. The food is good but can be salty. I like the burger and the nachos. Service is usually pretty quick even if it looks like only a couple people work there. The interior is getting nicer. When we first went the overhead fluorescent lighting was pretty harsh. Now instead the dining room is light with strings of lights for a better, cozier feel. Keep getting better Campfire! read more

Folks, we dont get out often, ( due to the APB fm Habersham County SD on me, Ha Ha!!). We are locals. Went to campfire yesterday, best steak, BY FAR, in the area. Had the filet and my wife had the rib eye. Both were GREAT. Although I'd like to drop names, I won't, but in comparison to other steaks we've tried in the area, both our cuts were great. These folks WILL BE our go-to place for a good piece of meat. Have to mention, be careful with the sides. The mashed potatoes were good, the mac and cheese was good. Need a little bread to go with the meal and add an appetizer beforehand. As I said in the opening, we dont go out often, but when we do, we will be headed to Helen, mid-week, early hours. Campfire in Helen is a must-visit! We stopped in for a meal and were blown away by the food, service, and overall experience. The smash burgers were absolutely awesome--perfectly crispy edges, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. The pulled pork sandwich was just as impressive, tender and full of smoky goodness. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance was spot-on, with a cozy yet lively atmosphere that made for a great dining experience. The menu had a great selection, offering something for everyone. For starters, the service was amazing, and we had the sweetest waitress. The atmosphere was nice and family friendly. Finally, the food....it was outstanding! Would recommend it to anyone! We only had two pics of what we ordered, but the rest of our group tried several other dishes, apps, and sides. It was all fantastic!
