The food is alright but it's not as good as many other place s in the area and it's twice the price. Also there were many things on the menu that are out of stock. Really great spot in Cleveland for a tasty lunch. This place has been here for many years and continues to serve great burgers and sandwiches. We have past this place a few times and the line is out the door all the time. Service was great, order at the counter and then they deliver to the table. Three different seating areas, inside, then a covered back porch then an outside eating area where dogs are allowed. Each sandwich is made as you order it, cold cuts are cut for each sandwich not pre-cut as some franchise stores do. I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with French fries. Not over seasoned on the fries. My wife had the Unicom sandwich on Sourdough bread which she loves. She had the complimentary potato salad and she was not impressed with it. Been coming here since I was a child! Memories!!!! On our way to tube! Then, I brought my kiddos. Now, my grand is with me! Sandwiches are always great and the cold plate that my MIL got looked amazing........................... but when you tell us it is a 30 min wait for food and you charge for a good/cooked side, make the side hot!!! We chose a two-top on the screened porch overlooking the shallow creek. It was one of those creeks that called to you,"take of your shoes and come wade in me" but we didn't. My Cuban Sandwich was as good as what we used to get at Jack's on Memorial Drive in Decatur, GA back in the 60's. Believe me, I've searched for 60+ years to be able to say that! There is a small creek running outside as the namesake implies, and there's no limit on seating options. You can sit outside at some tables, in a screened in porch area (just note that the tables are bolted to the ground in the screened in area, so if you have a large party, outside is probably best), or inside the building proper. Today I had the Chatahoochee sandwich which has roast beef, pastrami, cheese, tomato, & coleslaw all on grilled rye. It was wonderful but the next time I wiil ask them to grill the meat & cheese as this is on their cold deli sandwich menu. I had their their Brunswick Stew for the first time and it was outstanding! We had just visited Cabbage Patchland and was needed to eat before heading to Helen. Found this cute spot and was worth the stop. Cute decor, very clean and fresh food. The grilled cheese was grilled to perfection, the tomato soup seemed homemade- was delicious. Had chunks of tomato in it as well which was different but not bad. Quesadillas were a hit along with the double cheeseburger. The Philly was a little greasy but that can be expected. The chicken salad review was a little too much mayo. Lots of signs with rules and instructions; a little bit off putting on a first visit. The food is good, centered on deli sandwiches. Onion rings were fine but I expect larger portions when the upcharge is almost $4. It felt more like a small handful of rings and not enough. The sandwich, a Rueben of corned beef was good but not enough for the price point either. The atmosphere is good with an option to eat outside overlooking the namesake creek! I went here today with a few of my work colleagues and honestly loved all of the food. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had. Really needed a bit more cheese and also might wanna throw in some tid bits of bacon or ham to spice it up. My co workers sweet potatoes tots were just fried but not seasoned. We love Creekside Deli! So easy to order online to have it ready when we arrive or pick it up on the way to the cabin. I recommend it to everyone who is staying at our cabin and all have had great reviews. The Southern Jam grilled cheese is a dessert! We get one to share. The Rachel sandwich is the best to me. I've tried some of their other sandwiches but the Rachel is my go-to. My husband tries a different one each time and none have disappointed. Unfortunately we did not get to complete our meal here. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES. My family has dairy allergies. Apparently every bread, including the hot dog buns have dairy. The staff was rude when they decided to loudly talk from the open kitchen stating "she can't eat here. Don't eat here". They were also unwilling to change their gloves to prepare food. (Which, dairy allergy or not that's gross, would you want cuban sandwich residue on your turkey sandwich?) I ordered for my family that could eat dairy but the cashier got the order wrong. We ended up being refunded and left. The woman who refunded us was nice. I am aware that food allergies are difficult but that it's not anything that we can help or purely a preference. The grilled cheese sandwich was still good, but I'd have like to try it as written. Jersey Boy's ($7.99): Pepperoni - Genoma Salami - Ham - Lettuce - Tomato - Provolone Cheese - Italian Dressing - Toasted Amoroso's Italian Sub Roll I'm very partial to Italian sandwiches, so this one hit the spot for me. Maybe a little oily but no major issues here! Dahlonega ($8.75): Roast Beef - Provolone - Bacon - Lettuce - Tomato - BBQ Vinaigrette - Toasted New Orleans French Bread The bacon was accidentally omitted, but luckily replacements were given. The BBQ vinaigrette was more sweet than we expected, less vinegar and more sugar. All of the sandwiches came with one small side. I liked my broccoli salad/slaw which happily contained bacon and was kind of sweet, mostly due to containing tons of raisins. The pasta salad wasn't bad either. The potato salad might've been the weakest of the bunch. It did have eggs, by the way. So not particularly thunderstruck by Creekside Deli but it's worth a shot if you're in the area. read more
