Nice staff, good food! We had the Prime Rib special, absolutely the best!!! Newly remodeled!

Great food and excellent service. Not to mention great music as well. I come at least 3 times a week.

We were passing through and saw the full parking lot and thought, "Looks really busy, must be good." First of all, the menu is HUGE, for a bar! This is a red flag. When the special of the night is "Alfredo... with chicken, pork, or steak, take your pick!" and it's also already on the menu... this is a red flag. I quickly started scanning the menu for something that might not give me food poisoning. When the food is stored in outside freezers and there's a horde of live cats running around everywhere... it's a red flag. I love good bar food, but this was not good. My wife's Philly Cheesesteak tasted like propane gas. My chili dog was on par with something you might get at a junior high football game. Even my kids rejected their chicken tenders, which is saying something. Just 100% industrial, frozen, crap. The $13 margarita was even bad. It tasted like bad sour mix and may have had a drop or two of tequila in it. Giving one star for the server, who tried her best. And the location on the river was very nice. Service was slow too though. This was the worst $85 "dinner" I've had in a very, very long time. For the love of god, reduce the size of your menu and do a few things really well. No one wants a bunch of frozen entrees at a bar. read more

Always had a good meal friendly service no complaints. Food is a fair price. Nice location when they get crowded it's hard to find a parking spot, but it's not a big deal read more

Welcomed in by everyone near the front door in such a friendly and engaging manner! Food was delicious and service was so attentive. Carolyn/Caroline was one of the best waitresses I have ever had. She was so genuinely invested in our dining experience. Highly recommend over anything else in the area! Tomato bisque was yummy, perfect consistency. read more

We stopped in little place for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised. It's like a mixture of a sports bar and grandma's kitchen. The staff was friendly and very welcoming, so was the food! I had the blackened shrimp Po' Boy. It was surprisingly flavorful as the shrimp were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The order of onion rings were overly plentiful. I definitely needed a take home box. Apparently the chicken wings were nicely seasoned as well from the looks of the plates across from me. Crinkled fries are always a plus. Consider yourself lucky if Nicole is your waitress! She was truly a gem, giving up a list of things to see and do while in the area. It's definitely worth a stop for a refill! read more

3/26/2026- Sad to say but this visit was disappointing. Not sure if owners changed or they have just cut items in the kitchen. We came in and ordered the ravioli. If you look at my pictures two years ago this was not the same ravioli , as well as taste. The one from today felt like rubber and like it came from a box as opposed to the homemade ravioli we had two years ago. The meatballs were good but way too much sauce. I will not be coming back. read more

Great service, great peach martinis. Highly recommend! Pot pie was great and ambiance remarkable

Love music, great view and cheap drinks. Our Jack & Comes were $4 on the patio. We especially enjoyed George & Justin!!

One star for the server, one star for the location, zero stars for the food. If you've ever worked in a restaurant (or you were born yesterday) you will know immediately that this food is very cheap, low quality crap. It is a shame that a restaurant with so much potential would serve the food I had on my plate. Overpriced and very disappointing. read more

Great find while visiting the area. Food was great; service was outstanding. Would eat here again if in the area.

I'll give 2 stars because server did fine and the location and views are great. The food however was insulting. Got the Shrimp PoBoy. Came with frozen fries and not even the good frozen kind. POBoy was frozen shrimp with thousand island dressing on some decent store bought bread. The coleslaw side was about a half tablespoon of bag coleslaw and dressing (if you want coleslaw as additional side it's $4!!! Got a PBR with it and the PBR was the most authentic and most flavorful thing I had. Wife and daughter split a chicken Caesar wrap with frozen tater tots. Equally as bad per them. With any effort at all decent food could be served here. Sorry for the bad review but I paid $50 for this crap. read more

On a hot summer day, there's no better place to roast in the sun than at The Waterfront Bar. My ex husband and I spent some time in the mountains and hit this spot on our way out. We sat on the lower deck outside patio and we got the corner table. Incredible view even with the heat and the geese yapping next to us. As far as the food, I have to admit it's pricey for what you get and considering this economy. It's like $15 for a hotdog and McDonald's fries. Also take a look at the chicken tenders. Never seen such a bland looking buffalo tender before. But I WONT LIE, IT WAS BUSSIN!!!! That was some good chicken! My ex husband is kinda weird and this is one of the reasons he's my ex: he ordered the chicken parm sandwich. I didn't even realize that those existed ... I thought it was a pasta dish... but he cleaned his plate so it must've been good. Unfortunately despite the good food, we couldn't patch up our relationship. Also as a side note it appears that someone threw their plate into the river. They must not have liked their dinner. But I enjoyed the food and my server and the view. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're rich. read more

This place is a HARD NO. They advertise a 7 day a week HAPPY HOUR. "RIDICULOUS "! The flatbread pizza was a 6 inch tortilla with pizza toppings. The loaded tater tots were 12 pcs with shedded cheddar and I think bacon bits (???) Beers were $2 off , but they were domestic cans & bottles and were priced between $6 & $8 before the discount. Except for PBR. The food and drinks are way overpriced. Good trucks which tend to be pricey are a way better value. Waterfront , please close your doors. read more

The Waterfront Bar and the staff was a Thanksgiving save!! #realtalk I literally had NO dinner plans until 4pm day of gobble gobble. I started googling "North Georgia Thanksgiving 2024". The Waterfront Bar popped up on a Georgia place to food list. I read about a buffet and called to confirm as well as ask for pricing. It was a GO and an impromptu 1 hour 20 min drive up the dragon's trail and through Blue Ridge. The venue = simple galvanized steel building. Upon walk-in, the bar area is front and center. The staff were immediately welcoming, it felt like they were already friends. SIDE NOTE: I looked liked... A surfer gypsy, who just rolled out of bed. They were still VERY nice. A cute server gal showed us to a booth seat in the dining area. I noticed the gals there were all pulled together well. That actually matters to me. If your slops in your looks, you're gonna be slops with my food. I'm from Vegas, it's unsaid law there. I ordered my drink, a mule with whiskey. It was stiff. I like stiff. We were shown to the buffet area. Let me say EVERYBODY was so nice, and chill. Food was all on point. Yes. Me issues = I'm picky AF. All food made in-house. Noice. I'm currently eating my pecan pie ... I'm SO glad I was able to take it home. The crust is perfect. The back outdoor deck / patio is REALLY awesome. It was cold and dark. I rolled in late. The last customer. I am going back during the day to check it out because great service, stiff drinks, and outdoor vibes are kinda my go-to. #facts Being from the West Coast your driving 1-2 hours to get around ANYWHERE. A chill drive up the hill to a family owned spot on the Tennessee stateline river... I'm down 100% I recommended this venue to my neighbor buddy as soon as I got home. He has already heard about it from his buddy. I can see why, the word on the street spreads quickly. This would be a good place for large families and business employee gatherings. Plenty of seating both in indoor dining area, and on the outdoor dual level wood deck. REASONS TO VISIT: 1. Strong Specialty Drinks 2. Good food 3. Quality Service 4. Outside deck on the river with dining area 5. Indoor dining area separate from the bar area 6. Exceptional service 7. Family owned read more

The Waterfront Bar - Thanksgiving dinner at the Waterfront Bar was VERY welcoming. Great, friendly staff! - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Copperhill, Tennessee

Our first dinner at the Waterfront Bar was simply delicious! We arrived early and were greeted warmly at the door, and promptly seated outside on their lovely patio overlooking the Ocoee River. The owner came to our table, welcomed us and suggested a Beaujolais. We took him up on it, and loved it. My wife opted for the evening special: Coq au vin, accompanied by delicious potatoes and green beans. I chose the All Cattle & No Hat, thin strips of flat steak smothered in a savory mushroom sauce, served with an awesome potato cake and balsamic side green salad. There wasn't a bite left on either plate! This unpretentious spot in Copperhill should definitely be on your "must try" list. read more

This place is a Gem! From the Riverfront views to the Amazing staff, give this place a try. The burgers are excellent! Ask for the minced peppers. They were out of relish, when we visited, the bartender offered to chop up fresh pickles for his own relish concoction. That is what sets Restaurants like these, apart from the rest. The customer service is second to none. Also, how can you argue with a $5.00 Jack & coke? Thank you, Waterfront Bar,for a wonderful visit!! read more

Very disappointed in the quality and quantity of food vs the price. A child's chicken tender meal comes with two little tenders and a very small amount of fries for $10. My chicken quesadilla ($14) I am pretty sure has pre-cooked, packaged chicken (tasted rubbery and lacked flavor), and no fries or tots on the side, just a few shreds of lettuce and 3 tomato chunks. My son got the French dip sandwich ($19) and said the one from Arby's is way better. Nice setting by the river and the service was good. read more

We had my husband's 50th birthday party here last weekend and it was perfect! I live 2 hours away and the owners went above and beyond to help me with every detail. We had a party of 40 people that rode the train on from Blue Ridge and we were able to reserve a portion of the back deck for our time in McCaysville. We had live music, a customized buffet and a private open bar. I can't express how grateful I am to the staff there. Major menu changes not shown on their website for visit with 8 friends visiting from out of town this past Monday caused a disappointing experience. Friends wanted shrimp and grits, lasagna, and ribs among others not available on their new menu as shown on their website. Their meat balls and Italian items were always good. The fried sampler appetizer was hardly edible, Must have been all frozen items. The mozzarella strips were the only really good item on the platter. . I do not think I will return so in good conscience. The service was actually good in all fairness. read more

So - train riders and any others dropping by it's a hard NO! Don't fall for the free drink coupon neither when you arrive by train. Really cool spot worthy of 5 stars, but food and service are holding it back. All three of our meals were somewhere between bad and awful (wings, salad, and a sandwich). The big waitress yelled at someone for coming in the wrong door (neither was marked) which was absurd. Service was slow despite it being pretty empty and having plenty of employees. I'd come back for a beer and the view but would eat elsewhere before. read more

What started off as a great Sunday go to spot has now become a just average spot. On Sunday 6/29 we were looking for another great experience for drinks and food. Well things could not have been worse. Drink orders took way too long, one dinner came out and after 3 to 4 minutes we asked about the other dinner, the answer is "I don't know when it will be ready "! After 10 additional minutes the 2nd order came out. FF were soggy, wings were less than average. Which was better than the table next to us where the wings were raw at the bone. Note to owners, beer orders should come out in 3 to 5 minutes, never run out of hot sauce. Question, we will go back maybe. However our quest for Sunday dinner and a cocktail is back in play. read more

These folks are super sweet and our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the fried green tomatoes ($16) for four small slices that arrived perfectly breaded, but were mushy inside. The Chicken Parm sandwich, advertised as breaded with mozzarella and marinara, arrived in chunks on a hamburger bun with a slice of deli mozzarella sort of on top. We requested marinara on the side. What we ordered according to the menu and what arrived were completely different. We told the chef about the tomatoes and after a point it is difficult to complain further. Hopefully they are just working through the "figuring it out" period. Again super friendly people and fun location. read more

we took the scenic train into town and decided to stop here for lunch since it was on the water. The atmosphere was great but the food left a lot to be desired. There were 4 of us and our food did not come out all together and my husband was completely finished before my daughter's pasta arrived. I ordered the chicken BLT and it was simply the frozen chicken strips with bacon and cheese on top. my meal arrived later and it was not even warm and the cheese was not even melted. Terrible food for the high price that we paid! If you are visiting on the train, don't waste your time! read more

Drinks solid, that's all I'd recommend. Chicken nuggets for every dish ehhh, canal food.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff attentive without being overbearing, and the food--absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The drinks were just as impressive, with a great selection and perfectly balanced cocktails. We'll definitely be back and recommending this spot to everyone we know. A true gem!
