Crab dip
Sue W.

Cute spot located in downtown Blue Ridge! Nice outdoor patio which is great to enjoy the great weather. I had the crab dip (it was ok) and also the trout (fish of the day). Overall decent spot. Service was friendly, but a bit slow. Would definitely stop in again on a future trip!

We have been to Whiskey and Water on our past visit to Blue Ridge and we had such a good meal. We decided to come back again. We made reservations prior to our arrival and we were seated immediately. We were seated for a while before our server was assigned to our table! This was an easy crowd to please, as three of us ordered the Miso Cod dinner and I had the Ciopinno dinner! For the appetizer, we ordered the edamame which came in a delicious sauce. We all enjoyed our meals and yes, we shall return once again when we are visiting the area!

Red old fashioned

We stopped in on a slow night. We had to have reservations but 75% of the tables were empty. We ordered drinks and they took a while. Service was nice. My old fashioned was pink and red? We overheard at another table they had no simple syrup. It only takes a few minutes to make some??? They used cherry juice. We started with a salad that was good but the bread was rock hard . The cheese on to was like plastic. I ask the server to ask the chef about it. My wife got clam chowder that was delicious. That bread was very good. I got the fish and chips. It was small but ok. Everything took so much time and it was slow that night. My wife got a beer after we were done eating. Bartender is slow and not good.

Place is cute, small, clean service is ok.. they seem a bit disorganized. Food took long and then they said they were out of our order an hour later... $400 for 4, I had higher expectations

Located in downtown Blue Ridge right next to the general ledger. Warm welcoming restaurant/bar food came out hot delicious. My sister ordered the clam chowder. She said it was amazing. My other two friends had their fish tacos. They eat it so quickly before I could even take a picture lol I ordered the pork belly beautifully seasoned crispy on the outside not too fatty. The sweater weather drink was amazing. Had to return the next day to get it. Definitely recommend amazing staff. Everyone was so warm and welcoming.

The food here is phenomenal. It's a little pricey but I'd assume most everything in this area is. The food is definitely worth it. I was happy to see they had a couple of non-alcoholic options. The burger is one of the best I've ever had. Greasy and cheesy like a burger should be. Really good and fresh cole slaw. My only complaint would be that they don't tell you what side comes with your meal but we were pleased with their rice and fries!

Fried shrimp basket w/ beans & yellow rice. ($2 side upgrade)
Sophia R.

My boyfriend and I both ordered the fried shrimp basket and it was so yummy. The shrimp were crispy and flavorful. He got fries, and I upgraded to the beans and yellow rice for an extra $2 -- totally worth it. I tried the fries too, but honestly preferred the beans and rice. Everything was fresh and satisfying, and I'd definitely order it again.

So lame of me - but this was all that was left of the chowder, it was heavenly.

What a sleeper. Holy fork! First off, not sure how to rate a seafood forward restaurant this far inland fairly - but never fear, I'm from Florida and it held up against some of my favorites down there. Second, OMG have the clam chowder!!! Ruined for life and will not skip this - the highlight of my trip. Third, let's cover other sleepers on this menu: cesar salad (amazing fresh dressing), fish and chips (stunning) and the crispy pork belly (best kimchi I've had in a non-Korean establishment). You know it's a winner when you eat too much and this was the case here. Our new fav spot in Blue Ridge, we will plan trips around this spot.

Sazerac in front & vodka w/twist of lime in back

This is a cool spot in downtown Blue Ridge. Hayley & Mark made this visit very nice with the right amount of attentiveness. We started with a couple of cocktails (sazerac & vodka & tonic w/twist of lime) which both were very well made & refreshing. For an appetizer we had the calamari which was excellent as it had the typical squid but also had fried artichoke & lemon which made it different and a believe it or not fired lemon slice is good!! For the entrees, I had the cioppino which was full of seafood (shrimp, clams, mussels, whole garlic in a tomato broth) which was excellent. My wife had the fish and chips with a broccoli slaw and she said was very tasty! I have been to this establishment many times and have never been disappointed! If visiting the Blue Ridge area check it out!

E X P E R I E N C E we came as a group of two and a dog on a monday around 1pm. the restaurant was about 40% full. the lady at the front was very friendly, immediately seating us in the back patio area. TIP: DOG FRIENDLY!! F O O D clam chowder: new england style, sourdough: so much clam, very little potato, luke warm. it was so good shrimp tacos: frie dshrimp, kohlrabi and brussel slaw, drity south aioli: so good. shrimp is fried beautifully. lightly sauced. the corn tortilla is a little weird. it's flaky. but the slaw was amazing smash burger: seared double patty, double american cheese, kaiser bun, nannis pickles, slivered onions, american sauce: doesn't look like much but dang it was bomb. the bun is so airy. the patty was so flavorful and juicy. the pickles were perfectly salty. S E R V I C E kaylee was great. she was really friendly and polite. shes quick to bring out water and food. A T M O S P H E R E family friendly. very relaxed. quiet music in the background S E A T I N G there's probably enough seating for 60 people in the main area of the restaurant and 30 in the back side of the restaurant. there's a separate bar area with several bar height tables. there's also an outdoor back patio area-6 tables of four. back patio also has 4 adirondack chairs. great for couples, families and large groups! P A R K I N G ample. theres road side and several parking lots nearby if you're open to walking a block or two. P R I C E 50 + 20% tip

I have a very restricted diet due to allergens and almost never eat out because of it but our servers, Tony and Josiah, completely changed that for me. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe, thoughtful, and still absolutely delicious. That level of care and attention meant more than I can put into words. The steak was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. And the olive oil... I genuinely wanted to buy a bottle and take it home it was THAT good. Tony and Josiah didn't just provide great service they made the entire night feel easy, special, and memorable for everyone at the table. We felt genuinely taken care of from start to finish. Thank you for making a celebration like this possible for someone who usually has to sit those experiences out. We'll absolutely be back!! This place was one for the books !! :,)

The service was great as they constantly checked on us, the staff was helpful with providing recommendations from the menu, and were quite humorous and entertaining. I recommend the tuna carpaccio and cacio e Pepe. As someone who loves truffle and a good pasta you can't go wrong with those. Considering how much food we ordered the total price was fair. I highly recommend!!

Such a cool touch. Our server Ben was outstanding. It was our first visit and he spent time walking us through the menu and helping us decide. He was funny, attentive, and every recommendation he gave us was spot on. The carpaccio appetizer was amazing -- presented traditionally and then mixed tableside into perfectly balanced bite-sized pieces. It was both beautiful and delicious. Both of our filets were cooked perfectly, and dessert was a highlight. The warm peanut jelly & butter cake is a must-order. Truly one of the best meals and service experiences we've had.
