My family has been here before, was my first time to try though. To start, a lot on their menu was not available or out of stock.. The wings are actually very good and will say the sriracha sweet chili were my favorite. For the meal we had several burgers, (spicy jalapeño and bacon cheddar) both cooked just right and had many toppings like bacon, onion, jalapeño, and different sauces to choose from (buffalo, ranch, spicy ranch). My mom got a the prime rib sandwich with house made chips. The CHIPS are very very good, the sandwich was good but she says she would have had the grilled chicken wrap she usually gets instead. The sandwiches can all be made into wraps so the menu is actually very versatile. This visit was poorly affected by wait staff and accountability. Waitress was kind of rude and busy understandably, but talking over us to other tables when we are ordering and missing things from our order and charging extra for her own mistakes is where the tables turned. Atmosphere is a sporty bar pub with seating restaurant style, high tops, and bar seating. There is a back room that was cool and had several pool tables, dart boards and games. Might give another try but not anytime soon. read more

We came here on whim since we had already been to River Street Tavern. We were so surprised by the food and the staff and their attentiveness!!! Everything was delicious. My wife had a burger and the Mac and cheese! It has a kick so watch out. The beer is cheap and huge. I definitely recommend if you're here for a weekend or like us for a week! One of the local folks in Ellijay Georgia said this was the better sports bar to hang out in that had good wings. This did turn out to be quite true. We had a fantastic waitress named Miranda that helped us out. There were many TVs in the very clean establishment and we met a couple of locals too. Menu is pretty standard pub food. My husbands meatloaf was ok he said but he is spoiled by my cooking. I had the angus beer burger. It was not medium but well done. Didn't feel like sending it back but it was chewy. Not sure why. The house fries are just cut up potato's with no real flavor. At least roast them and spice them up a bit. My Guinness was not real cold and I like mine real cold. My server was ok. He wanted to take out order when we just sat down and after saying we needed a moment it took forever for him to come back. Came here on a Friday night with a large group about a month ago. Live music that night which my toddler absolutely loved. I ordered a salad which was massive! Easily could be shared by 2-4 people (depends if you want a side salad or full meal). Everyone seemed to enjoy the food they ordered. The only downside was they forgot the side order of Mac and cheese for my toddler. They were really apologetic and tried to get an order out asap but unfortunately the rush might have decreased the quality. The cheese was stringy and greasy. Would not have minded so much but that was really the only option for my son who only has about 4 teeth. Will definitely try again. Maybe just the adults next time lol. read more

Really wanted to like this place, a good friend recommended as my husband loves wings but unfortunately they were not good. They were supposed to be all flats, didn't happen. Wings are very small and the sauce is very ordinary, not what he had hoped for. I ordered the Cheeseburger, asked for cheddar cheese, extra cheddar, also didn't happen. Burger was very plain, really lacking in flavor. I will say I liked the pickles on the burger, they seemed to be homemade. I also liked the tator tots & the music was good. Ok folks, this is THE place to go. We were visiting Ellijay to see friends. They took us to this fine establishment, in an unassuming strip mall. Food was outstanding. Ordered the low country boil, which was utter perfection. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Great! Daughter had burger with Mac and cheese that was hot, creamy and delicious. Friend ordered dipped Italian Beef (I'm from the Chicago area and a snob, so I had low expectations). Again, outstanding! Met owner Scott after our meal. Scott is present and truly loves food and this business. He makes most everything from scratch and is firm believer in a clean joint. Great guy that really cares. New much needed business with great food and atmosphere. Was pleasantly surprised that Italian beef was on the menu and as a Chicago native, it was very good. Have also had the lasagna special which was also very tasty and good sized portion. Atmosphere is upbeat and cozy and I appreciate the option of ordering a craft beer with my dinner. If I was going to suggest anything to this business it would be to offer a speedy lunch special for people that need to get back to work. Gordon Ramsay would have a field day with this place. Do not eat here. Asked in advance if I could get my meat rare... staff asked the kitchen and they said "yes". Meat comes out cold and so dry and dark brown that I wouldn't even feed to my dog. Like rubber. If you are a visitor to the area, you'll be able to chat with locals to find out the best places to peruse and get directions. While a pub, it is kid friendly. Families eat at the pub; it has a dining room. It's behind the McDonald's at the corner of Maddox Drive and Highway 515; can be tricky to see it. It's several doors up from the movie theater. The only entertainment at the pub is the background music which is usually soft rock. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I have eaten here a few times. The food is excellent. Affordable. This is my new favorite place to eat in Ellijay. The chef here does an outstanding job. I ordered the Friday special of shrimp and grits. The dish was beautifully presented with shrimp that were cooked correctly. It also had a very nice grade of andouille sausage and vegetables too. My wife had the stuffed port loin that included fresh mashed potatoes and veggies. All around a great meal for a great price. We will most definitely be back. read more
