Place is filthy. Bathroom had feces all over the toilet. Toilet seat fell off when a friend sat on it. Pizza is good but who knows what you'll catch in that situation?! We actually chose this restaurant because it was dog friendly and we bring our dog everywhere we go. The restaurant is "a hole in the wall" type place with no frills but the service and food makes up for it. Our server, Faith, was fantastic and her comedian husband Chad was great too (although he didn't tell us any jokes). We enjoyed the Black Garlic Flat Bread and a margarita pizza. I absolutely loved this place. I came with my family when we were in town a few weeks back. Everyone enjoyed the sandwiches and pizza that they got, but most importantly, the highlight of why we stopped in-- the vegan options. They had quite a few to my surprise, which made me really happy to see. I decided on a pizza and I did not disappoint. I put my own toppings on, the vegan cheese was great and the dough was perfect! The restaurant was really cute, and we sat outside with my dog. Our server was really friendly and attentive, and told us about the owner too which was cool. The food here is over the top amazing! The calamari is the best anywhere! So are the fries and the rack of lamb is perfect!!

We sat on the deck after the rain so it was comfortable. The bruschetta was excellent and the meatballs were good. Our server, Faith, was super sweet. Sadly, at 4pm on a holiday weekend, they were already out of salmon and carne asada. The managers "bad news/good news" joke fell flat. It wasn't good news that we had "the exciting opportunity to choose something else". I came for the chicken picatta. It was very good. My wife ended up with lamb which was well presented and well prepared. My daughter had the shrimp scampi, which she said was "ok" but compared to salmon, I understand her disappointment. We have eaten there multiple times and have enjoyed it but not the last time. I like to feel what I spend was worth it. I will say that service has always been somewhat inconsistent. There was an issue with the timing of our order, one person was served way before the others. Orders should have been coordinated, regardless of what was ordered, unless otherwise requested . When a simple "I'm sorry" would have sufficed, I got "hey it's not my fault" from our server, then another person came out defending what happened. I didn't need to hear justifications or excuses.... Just say I'm sorry for your experience today. That would have made a difference on whether I go back or not. read more

It was some time ago when I visited this establishment so the kids could have some pizza. I proceeded to place my order and the first red flag was that the only staff member that was there did not know how to operate the oven. If you don't know how to operate it then just admit it. I personally thought this place was below average. The people were very nice but the food was very plain and menu didn't have a big selection. We had a reservation for tonight, which I had confirmed over the phone just a few days ago. When we arrived it was to find the restaurant was "closed for maintenance." We had no notification and since it's a holiday weekend, there is nowhere else to eat dinner- every other restaurant in downtown Ellijay is slammed. The food was amazing! We ordered the meatballs and the Tapz signature salad for the appetizer - so delicious! We also had the meatballs and the Cali flatbreads for the main course and they were perfect. The food did take a long time because the other pizza place ran out of dough, so Tapz got slammed with customers. I would say that is my only critique. Maybe had we received the salad and appetizers quicker then the wait would not have been so bad. But everything came out at the same time. However, as I said earlier, the food was great! read more

Everything here was INCREDIBLE from the service to the food. The owner Abby played catch with our kids ..... with pizza dough! For appetizers, our group ordered the bruschetta, cauliflower bites and papas brava. All were delicious. The papas bravas and bruschetta were amazing. I do not eat dairy or meat and the vegan flat bread was delicious. We were all stuffed. Not only was the food incredible, the service was top notch.
