Bar 21 is such a gem! My friends and I stopped in on Sunday around 6 (they close at 8pm on Sunday just fyi) for some drinks during our stay in the cabins. Justin our bartender was amazing, very personable and he definitely makes a good drink. The decor is so creative it gives an artsy upscale vibe. We met the owner also she was the sweetest and she even took our group photo. If you're visiting the area i highly recommend you checking them out!

Bar 21 was on my list of places to see, when I recently spent a weekend in Georgia Blue Ridge mountains. When you walk through Bar 21 doors, it feels out of place, in comparison to all the other shops, bars, breweries and restaurants lining the main street in Copperhill, Tennessee. The entrance is located on a side street so don't be discouraged if your GPS directs you the Mexican restaurant on the main street. It's well worth the extra steps to make your way around the corner to witness for yourself this beautifully designed throwback to the days of speakeasies. From the moody blue colored coffered ceiling to the extravagant and elegant oversized rope chandeliers, you might feel underdressed and out of your league walking into this upscale joint but fear not, the vibe is good, and the atmosphere is casual. The drinks were on point and the bar staff and patrons were friendly and chatty. The bartender revealed a few magical bar tricks but I'll leave that for you to experience when you visit. This place is everything you would have never expected to see in a small mountain town but you'll be glad you found it. It has a full bar and they serve everything from beers to select old fashions. There was also a list of select bar snacks but I was too enamored by the flair and décor of the place I forgot to snap a pic. There's a private lounge off the main floor and two gender neutral toiles that simple bear the label of "WC" water closets. That's very euro of you Bar 21. The graffiti painted walls and neon signs paying homage to Marilyn Monroe will not be ignored when nature hits and it's your turn to walk the catwalk to the nearest "WC". The toilet was exceptionally clean and I'll describe the décor as simple elegance. I don't usually snap pictures of toilets but this one is damn near a work of art. I will definitely visit this bar again on my next escape from the city. Don't sleep on Copperhill, Tennessee but get there before the sun goes down because just about everything closes really early.

It is like a dream! Walking out of Copperhill into a magical bar in Paris when you walk into Bar 21! The craft cocktails, charcuterie, beautiful selections of beer and wines will please any palate! Stop in, let the amazing staff create a wonderful Ukrainian Mule for you and enjoy! Cheers to a place like this finally opening around here!

Lots of great small touches. I'm a sucker for fresh flowers!

The drinks were really good and the bartenders were super friendly! The food, is just snacks so you may want to eat somewhere before that, definitely more of a cocktail experience. They also have a small Photo Booth tucked away in the corner that's free and will text you the photos so make sure to check that out! Overall, will visit again.

I highly recommend the "Bartender's Choice" cocktail option--the staff is incredibly skilled, and the drinks they crafted were awesome. However, management needs to fix their highly deceptive checkout flow. The bar chooses not to bake Tennessee's mandatory 15% Liquor-by-the-Drink tax into their menu prices. When the bartender flips the POS tablet to pay, the system completely hides the itemized receipt. It jumps straight to a final total that includes a combined 24.25% in state and liquor taxes. To make matters worse, the screen presents ridiculous suggested tip options of 20%, 30%, and 40%--which are calculated on top of that heavily taxed final total rather than the subtotal. If you just tap a prompt, you end up aggressively tipping on hidden taxes. Come for the excellent cocktails and great bartenders, but ignore the suggested buttons and manually calculate your tip based on the actual menu price of your drinks.

(Actually anywhere and I've been a lot of places around the country as well as Europe). I usually eat at the bar because the bartenders, Matt, Anthony & Kyle are awesome! They make all kinds of cocktails I've never heard of or tasted (and if you don't like it? They'll fix another to your liking) Food? Awesome! I'm a beef eater and had the filet Pittsburg style. Warm pink center, charcoaled outside. Not many restaurants have the heat to pull this off, but they do. The chef is from New York and knows his sea food! The manager Tosha and owner Patrick are awesome! Atmosphere, camaraderie are extraordinary. I could go on but I think you get the idea. .

Is just an extremely over priced restaurant. Our oysters were delicious, but at $3.25 each they should have included a couple of pearls. I ordered the Shellfish- Roll. It was Lobster tonight. It was over cooked, dry and way over seasoned. Good Lobster only needs butter guys! Keith ordered the whole Pompano. We knew it was a whole fish but didn't count on some of the internal organ juices being included. The top side of the fish was delicious- plate side was soaking in jerk and fish gut juices. Great location, great vibe- just way too expensive for what you get.
