I recently moved from San Antonio to Austin 2 weeks ago and have been trying to find a new laundry place since then. Every different place I've tried seemed to be tap to pay unlike San Antonio which is great buttt the other business I've tried, either the tap the pay didn't work or they charged over $7 to wash. So I've been trying to find somewhere where the tap to pay work and where it's not super expensive. I decided to try this out as they have tap to pay which worked and they have the laundry card for purchase option as well as quarters. I used the 2.25 wager with my Apple Cash and it charged me $15 for the washer. I was like ahmmmm what?? So I went to the attendant to get a number to make a complaint and she pointed out it's a pre authorization charge. I decided to just buy a laundry card from the machine and load money onto the card because who wants to have a $15 charge on their card for every machine. I used 2 washers but used the load ale card on the second one because I didn't want another $15 Hold, you then still have the dryers which again they'll charge another $15. Just seems excessive. Because it's not like it's going to be one charge of $15 because how will each machine or your card know you've already have a pre authorization on it With the loadable card theirs no hold. But when you do purchase one they take couple dollars for a fee. Loaded 10 and it had only $8 and some change once I used. mold always in the detergent dispensers. i was there about a week ago and the bleach section was full to the top w bleach, almost started a wash with my clothes in that washer and would've ruined all my clothes if i didn't notice it. i let the guy working know and told him to run a load to drain the bleach or put an out of order sign up at least so no one uses it and ruins their clothes. the man completely ignored me and told me to just use another washer. once my clothes were done i went back in to put them to dry and saw an hour older lady putting a load in that washer. the worker still hadn't ran a cycle on that washer or even bothered to put a sign up on the washer saying not to use it. i had to warn the lady myself before she ruined all of her clothes w that wash. i asked the man again after putting my clothes to dry if he can put a sign atleast bc another lady almost used that washer full of bleach and he didn't even say a word to me just looked at me and looked away. went in after my dry was done and still no sign and the bleach dispenser still full to the brim. read more

This has been the second time paying with a debit card (Tap to pay ) and instead of charging me $5.00 it charged me $15 please fix this problem . F*** this place, I came here to do my laundry, since the machines usually say 30 min but actually take 45 min I decided to get a coffee real quick, when I came three viejas(old ladies) had taken over my area and the worker, named Linda, had taken out my clothes and put it in a basket! Apparently these were friends of Linda and they didn't want to use the machines that cost 25 cents more and so they just decided to take my stuff out and stand over me until I took out all of my clothes from the other machines. In case you're looking for the Spanish way to categorize these b***** the word is pendejas. I don't know where tf your nasty hands have been so this is the last time I will come here. P.s. I have been going here since ive moved to austin and been putting my clothes in the same washer..... creature of habit....... I noticed that the water level and wash is not the same as it was before and I informed one of the attendant there but he was not much help at all. Finally he said talk to the manager. The manager was nice enough to say to get this check. Then in the end this attendant came back put a rug in there and said look it works. I was disappointed by how my complaint was managed. Update: Went and tried another washer. My clothes came out clean and smelling like my clothes got washed. I need to look for another washeteria. The wash costs me 2.75 for medium soil cycle. The dryer cost me 1.25 for 35 minutes but my clothes is still slightly damp all the time. It's really not worth it....$4 a load every week. Too expensive. read more

They get one star for several reasons. First off I stood at the desk for a good 5 minutes while I watched two different workers ignore me and continue to fold clothes and watch TV. Finally I walked over to one of them to see if she could break a $20 bill cuz I only had to do one load of laundry. Apparently it's against the policy to break a $20 bill. SO I put it in the change machine so I got to 80 quarters to do one load of laundry. Okay my fault but the lady didn't have to smirk so f*** this place. I am currently AT SpinZone on William Cannon and I can honestly say that this place is awesome! Not only do they have free WiFi to keep you entertained while you wait on your loads and loads of laundry, but they have a ton of different size washers and dryers to accommodate your wash load, as well as your budget. The place overall is hardly ever "super busy" (which means you aren't going to be fighting with your neighbors over a machine or a laundry cart to haul your clothes around in from washer to dryer and back and forth again), and they have a ton of space to spread out and get all the folding you could ever dream of doing done in half the time. You won't be disappointed! This place is clean, comfortable, and super convenient to all kinds of spots off of William Cannon (including HEB, which is a block down the road!). read more

I drop my stuff off on the way to work and pick it up on my way home. This place is great! Linda takes good care of me. The wash and fold is so convenient and inexpensive. Last time I was headed out of town and she had my clothes in, out, smelling fresh and folded in 4 hours! And it was ALOT of clothes! Wow!!! Where do I begin....I will never be coming back here. You are more than welcome to use this establishment if you don't mind being treated like a second class citizen. Everything there is outdated and old and worthless. Even the attendant who can't even keep the place clean. I put $40 cash into the machine to get a card to use the Machines. I load my clothes only to find out I received a blank card!!!! My money was stolen from me at a laundromat. After notifying the attendant on duty. He called someone who was no help. They refused to give me my money back. I insisted they check the video cameras that I know recorded me when I walked in and put the money into the machine. So long story short I had to call the police!!!! Never thought the cops would have to be involved with me getting my laundry done. Worst service ever!!!! I came here for the first time today. The place looks decently clean considering I did not see a single employee the whole time. I even called and let the phone ring for a while. This would be a tiny issue if I and others were able to use the bathrooms. They keep them locked. Live and learn I guess. They should step up their game though. Good luck. read more

I only used the wash and fold service here. The people who work there are very nice and helpful. They followed my instructions for hanging the shirts and the clothes were neatly folded. I did think the clothes could have been cleaner. A lot of my clothes still had stains u on them that should have been removed. I used the wash and fold service at another laundromat a month ago and my clothes were very clean. read more

Yea this place is awful. I thought I would try since it's alittle closer to my house than the laundry place on Manchaca/Wm Cannon but will never make that mistake again. The attendants are rude, not very helpful and seem to be very lazy. Not only that but the washers don't spin properly and the dryers take 2 cycles to get your clothes dry. read more
