Interesting burger concept taken from South Korea with sealed burgers located in the heart of Texas. We ordered three spinning buns, the classic spin, steak spin, and Nutella. The classic was okay, the steak was good, the Nutella was disappointing. The steak was like a Philly cheesesteak. The Nutella was off maybe because during the sealing process it cooks the fruit a bit? Also the sealing process makes it a nice grab and go meal. If I were to come back I would stick to the steak spin. Also if you're dining with someone no need for both of you to get fries you get plenty with one combo! The ambience is fast casual and the service is fast and friendly.

I had never heard of Korean style pressed burgers before coming here. They are good- but different. The press seals the burger so its hot, juicy with a crust. This burger doesn't have your classic lettuce and tomatoes on it- a bit more like a hot pocket. Overall I really liked the burger. The fries were delicious- not soggy at all- and the nutella was a great dessert. The ambience is fast casual and clean. There was plenty of seating when we stopped by. Service was friendly and burgers were out within 15 minutes. Overall Id recommend if you are looking to try a new food trend!

Onion rings

I've had UFO burgers before and really liked them a lot, so I was excited to see that Austin had a spot that sold these as well! One misconception though, some descriptions label this restaurant as Korean style. And while this style was trending in Korea, the flavors are all still American. I think this is a really fun concept and a fun way to eat burgers. But in terms of burgers and the food itself, it wouldn't be my top pick. So I can see people coming here once for the experience, but not necessarily coming back for the food. However, I really would love if they added some Korean flavor styled burgers to the menu! It would also set them apart from other restaurants outside of the shape of the food to ensure people to come back. (And it's what I had originally expected it to be, so I'm sure other people have probably thought the same.) As for the actual food itself, I got the steak spin. It was very reminiscent of a Philly cheese steak. The meat was really good, but the provolone cheese was a little too strong for my personal liking. I liked the onion rings a lot though! They were super crispy and super light. The breading was thin but had a really nice crunch. I would definitely get the onion rings again!

Ultimate spin and onion rings

Came here for lunch after seeing the menu online. Was pretty excited to see that they had a UFO style burger. Customer service was great. I ordered the ultimate spin and some onion rings. The onion rings came out a bit overcooked with some being seasoned well while others being too salty. As for the burger, I had high hopes but it was honestly just a basic burger. The patty inside is quite small or flat but the ribeye was well seasoned. I'd say it was more of a gimmick. I didn't leave with the feeling on wanting to come back but that's my preference. It was okay for me.

Food was great! My son really liked and "approved" S'mores spin. I really enjoyed shroomy spin! Very tasty and it had unique flavor. Service was pleasant and ambiance was nice. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to burger spin lovers.

I really liked the concept and the burgers were good but not better than other burgers I had. It was just very expensive for what it was. The workers were nice and there is a couple of tables inside to sit at but I took my order to go and it was still warm when I got home.

Spinning buns is a great fast casual burger joint located in the beautiful neighborhood, Mueller. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. I got the spicy spin and the classic spin with a side of fries. Not only were the burgers tasty, but you can't beat these low prices! Give them a try if you are in the Mueller area.

The service was good but I did not like the food. The workers are very earnest and are helpful when you order. The food is prepared quickly. The whole concept of the food is more so a gimmick. My husband loves things to do with aliens so he wanted to try this out. I didn't finish my hamburger, I didn't like the taste. I also thought the fries were bland. The place itself is similar to any other fast food restaurant. There are some tables outside in the back if you'd like some fresh air.

Biscoff Sweet Spin

Amazing customer service topped off an already amazing experience. Hot, fresh, delicious burgers with varieties sure to suit any palate. Fun spin stop challenge at the front to try to win a sweet treat and my son won and got the Biscoff sweet spin with a scoop of ice cream in it. Burgers were AMAZING, sweets were AMAZING and the customer service was flawless. My picky 11 year old ate every last bite, fry orders are generous and all of their sauces were great, too!

Cool burger concert. Mediocre burger. The meat and toppings are sealed in between the buns. It's a nice spin on how to make a burger. I did see more pink than I wanted to since I requested well done, so that was disappointing. The onion rings were good! There wasn't anything spectacular about the taste of the burger, but it wasn't the worst either.

Best part for me was the onion rings. Overall, it's a pretty cool concept but it felt a bit pricy and small. I think I prefer regular buns as well, but it's worth a shot! The staff were very nice and accommodating of our large party.

Really delicious burgers. We tried the Classic Cheese and Chicken burgers with fries and onion rings. Both burgers were juicy, meaty, and hit the spot. I'm impressed how full I got. The chicken burger had fried batter, very yummy. Don't forget you can customize them when you order. Be careful. It's extremely hot fresh off the sandwich makers. Makes it perfect to order to-go; the pocket keeps the fillings warm for at least 20 mins. The sauces are all homemade. The owners are still experimenting and coming out with more flavors. They greet all the customers and ask for their opinions. The restaurant ambiance is casual, great for friends and families to grab a quick bite. The staff was all very friendly. When I was photographing the burger making process, I was invited in to film the burgers being pressed inside the sandwich maker. The machines press the buns together, sealing the juice inside and creating the flying saucer look. Hence "Spinning Buns". We definitely want to come back and try out the other flavors: shroom and beef steak. I hear the Nutella and PBJ are all very popular.

Unique concept for a burger, but I don't think it ends up being better than a open-face burger. Caveat: I did get delivery so it's not as fresh, so I would highly recommend eating there, which I will re-review when I get to do so. Burger ends up being a bit soggy, like a burrito if you get delivery. I tried the chicken, classic, nutella, and some fries. The fries had some nice seasoning on them, but they did taste a little stale. And the burgers I tried were just alright. The chicken especially doesn't lend well to this format because the breading becomes soggy the longer it steams inside the bun. The overall value isn't bad, though. But for such a nice-looking burger, the flavors didn't match the expectations.

The food is incredible, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff truly make this place special. Huge shoutout to amazing team members Ariel and Emily for being so warm and kind. The chef even made our pup Zoloft a pup cup today, which was such a sweet gesture. The lovely woman who helped us during our last visit also gave Zoloft a pup cup, so they've consistently shown kindness to our little family. They even gave complimentary vegan cookies to guests when we arrived (not sure if it was a special promotion, but such a thoughtful touch!). And the ice cream... WOW. Made with lentils, and honestly some of the best ice cream we've ever had--rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Friendly staff, delicious food, thoughtful service, and creative plant-based treats. There is some picnic bench seating if you care to eat there, but each order is ready to take home You can also find a menu and other information posted on the outside. The menu mostly offers burgers, but there are a couple other offerings like a cheesesteak, partner, etc. The staff were very friendly and precessional. I really appreciated that they double checked everything in our to-go bags against what we ordered just to make sure we had everything. Everything was bagged, and the orders had the individual order and special order requests written on top Everything tasted great. The burgers were classic burgers, slightly messy, but very flavorful. The fries weren't quite as crisp as I like, but they were seasoned well and tasty Some tips: Consider ordering online so you can have your meal ready when you arrive The burgers/entrees don't come with fries, so, consider ordering a couple fries to share. One order of fries is more than enough for 2 people to share. To do this just make your meal a combo on the ones you want to have fries. Combos also come with a drink, but it's not a fountain drink it's in cans which they also bag for you Cheers!!

5/5 Stars - Hands-down the best meal of my trip!**…read more I'm in town for a conference and have been eating out every single day--hotel breakfasts, chain spots, random takeout--and honestly, nothing has come close to what I had at Jimmy's Big Burger tonight. This was by far the best meal I've had all week. The cheeseburger was outstanding. The bun was perfect--soft, and held everything together without getting soggy. The meat had incredible flavor, juicy and well-seasoned, and the divine (I'm assuming that's the special sauce or topping?) absolutely blew me away--it took the whole thing to another level. The fries were exactly how I like them: thick-cut, tender, not overly crunchy or crispy, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was spot-on. Service was excellent too--friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. Shoutout to the team for making a conference-weary traveler feel right at home. If you're anywhere near Jimmy's, do yourself a favor and go. I'm already thinking about coming back before I leave town. So well done--thank you! Highly recommend. 10/10 would eat again.

Recently, I went back after not having it for a while, craving that same experience... but unfortunately, it just wasn't the same. The burger tasted different -- almost like they've changed something or started taking shortcuts. It was like a school lunch burger + the onion rings were burnt but also cold at the same time. The flavor and quality that made me come back before just weren't there this time, which was super disappointing. I honestly left feeling a little sad because I used to go there all the time for that exact reason and took a 30 min drive to try it again. On the positive side, the staff is still amazing. Everyone was really friendly, and that part hasn't changed at all. And I did grab one of the locally made sweets from the fridge, and that was actually really good. I'm really hoping they go back to the quality they used to have, because Wholly Cow used to be one of the best burger spots around.

The chips were evenly covered with toppings, and it was just enough to get us through until our meals. My friend and I split their special burger that day, which was a green goddess burger and swapped the regular patty for a veggie patty. It was great! The veggie patty reminded me a lot of falafel, which is one of my favorite foods, and it went really well with their green goddess dressing and other toppings. We also both got their sweet potato fries as a side. They come with a spicy aoli that went very well with them.
