Please don't let the strip mall location of this locally owned establishment fool you. It is far from the mundane, corporate establishments you'd find in such locales. The pressed bun burger aka the UFO is genius. Why? Because it's kitschy and fun. Not only that, sealing the bun seals in all the flavors. I got the original and my boyfriend got the spicy. All of the flavors and the juicy patty with fillings are neatly compacted allowing for an incredible burst of flavor with each bite. The onion rings have a unique taste to the lightly and perfectly fried ring. The portions are much bigger than they look. I ate half my burger and half an onion ring and I was full. That's ok...leftovers. Of course Benji gives the food two paws up. The service was exceptional. Chatted with employees who were engaging, happy, and helpful. This is the kind of experience you want when you go out to eat.

Seen this place on TikTok and had to give it a try! We got the spicy spin and fries and onion rings. The sealed burgers are very easy to eat and less of a mess. Definitely satisfied the fast food craving with a Korean style burger. Didn't try the Nutella spin as I was full but would like to try it at some point. Service was excellent, everyone was friendly, and it's well priced. This is a good quick place to go to with the family as well.

Interesting burger concept taken from South Korea with sealed burgers located in the heart of Texas. We ordered three spinning buns, the classic spin, steak spin, and Nutella. The classic was okay, the steak was good, the Nutella was disappointing. The steak was like a Philly cheesesteak. The Nutella was off maybe because during the sealing process it cooks the fruit a bit? Also the sealing process makes it a nice grab and go meal. If I were to come back I would stick to the steak spin. Also if you're dining with someone no need for both of you to get fries you get plenty with one combo! The ambience is fast casual and the service is fast and friendly.

I had never heard of Korean style pressed burgers before coming here. They are good- but different. The press seals the burger so its hot, juicy with a crust. This burger doesn't have your classic lettuce and tomatoes on it- a bit more like a hot pocket. Overall I really liked the burger. The fries were delicious- not soggy at all- and the nutella was a great dessert. The ambience is fast casual and clean. There was plenty of seating when we stopped by. Service was friendly and burgers were out within 15 minutes. Overall Id recommend if you are looking to try a new food trend!

I've had UFO burgers before and really liked them a lot, so I was excited to see that Austin had a spot that sold these as well! One misconception though, some descriptions label this restaurant as Korean style. And while this style was trending in Korea, the flavors are all still American. I think this is a really fun concept and a fun way to eat burgers. But in terms of burgers and the food itself, it wouldn't be my top pick. So I can see people coming here once for the experience, but not necessarily coming back for the food. However, I really would love if they added some Korean flavor styled burgers to the menu! It would also set them apart from other restaurants outside of the shape of the food to ensure people to come back. (And it's what I had originally expected it to be, so I'm sure other people have probably thought the same.) As for the actual food itself, I got the steak spin. It was very reminiscent of a Philly cheese steak. The meat was really good, but the provolone cheese was a little too strong for my personal liking. I liked the onion rings a lot though! They were super crispy and super light. The breading was thin but had a really nice crunch. I would definitely get the onion rings again!

Food was yummy! The fries and onion rings were a solid 10/10. The burgers were good (spicy spin), but I'd like to try out some of the others. Very fun concept! I definitely enjoyed how the burgers really retain their heat because of the way they're pressed. Service was good, straight and to the point, Nice ambiance, but wasn't the biggest fan of their seats, they're rather uncomfortable, but that's incredibly minor in comparison to the fact that the food was very good! If you're considering giving this place a try, I'd definitely recommend you give it a go!

Food was great! My son really liked and "approved" S'mores spin. I really enjoyed shroomy spin! Very tasty and it had unique flavor. Service was pleasant and ambiance was nice. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to burger spin lovers.

I really liked the concept and the burgers were good but not better than other burgers I had. It was just very expensive for what it was. The workers were nice and there is a couple of tables inside to sit at but I took my order to go and it was still warm when I got home.

Spinning buns is a great fast casual burger joint located in the beautiful neighborhood, Mueller. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. I got the spicy spin and the classic spin with a side of fries. Not only were the burgers tasty, but you can't beat these low prices! Give them a try if you are in the Mueller area.

Came here for lunch after seeing the menu online. Was pretty excited to see that they had a UFO style burger. Customer service was great. I ordered the ultimate spin and some onion rings. The onion rings came out a bit overcooked with some being seasoned well while others being too salty. As for the burger, I had high hopes but it was honestly just a basic burger. The patty inside is quite small or flat but the ribeye was well seasoned. I'd say it was more of a gimmick. I didn't leave with the feeling on wanting to come back but that's my preference. It was okay for me.

The service was good but I did not like the food. The workers are very earnest and are helpful when you order. The food is prepared quickly. The whole concept of the food is more so a gimmick. My husband loves things to do with aliens so he wanted to try this out. I didn't finish my hamburger, I didn't like the taste. I also thought the fries were bland. The place itself is similar to any other fast food restaurant. There are some tables outside in the back if you'd like some fresh air.

Cool burger concert. Mediocre burger. The meat and toppings are sealed in between the buns. It's a nice spin on how to make a burger. I did see more pink than I wanted to since I requested well done, so that was disappointing. The onion rings were good! There wasn't anything spectacular about the taste of the burger, but it wasn't the worst either.

    Brian C.

Best part for me was the onion rings. Overall, it's a pretty cool concept but it felt a bit pricy and small. I think I prefer regular buns as well, but it's worth a shot! The staff were very nice and accommodating of our large party.

The food is incredible, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff truly make this place special. Huge shoutout to amazing team members Ariel and Emily for being so warm and kind. The lovely woman who helped us during our last visit also gave Zoloft a pup cup, so they've consistently shown kindness to our little family. They even gave complimentary vegan cookies to guests when we arrived (not sure if it was a special promotion, but such a thoughtful touch!). And the ice cream... WOW. There is some picnic bench seating if you care to eat there, but each order is ready to take home You can also find a menu and other information posted on the outside. The menu mostly offers burgers, but there are a couple other offerings like a cheesesteak, partner, etc. The staff were very friendly and precessional. I really appreciated that they double checked everything in our to-go bags against what we ordered just to make sure we had everything. Everything was bagged, and the orders had the individual order and special order requests written on top Everything tasted great. The burgers were classic burgers, slightly messy, but very flavorful. The fries weren't quite as crisp as I like, but they were seasoned well and tasty Some tips: Consider ordering online so you can have your meal ready when you arrive The burgers/entrees don't come with fries, so, consider ordering a couple fries to share. One order of fries is more than enough for 2 people to share. To do this just make your meal a combo on the ones you want to have fries. Combos also come with a drink, but it's not a fountain drink it's in cans which they also bag for you Cheers!!

The few negative reviews mentioned bland burgers, but the positive ones say these are the best burgers in town. I thought I couldn't be unlucky enough to be in the minority and receive bland burgers, but, boy, was I wrong! NO SEASONING IN THE PATTIES!! Not even salt? If they had just seasoned the patties like they seasoned their fries, my experience would be completely different. An easy 5 stars. But nope. A solid 2, only because of everything other than the patties. We came at around 8pm on a Saturday night and were the only customers, so maybe that should've been a sign. Also the lot felt kinda sketchy in the dark. Idk if I would have wanted to be there alone at night. Food was also ready in 10 minutes, like the guy told us. FRIES: Thick cut, well-seasoned, good. Looked like a steak seasoning on the fries. I liked it, but since they were thick, the center of the fries were bland, unfortunately. Maybe it would've been less noticeable if we ate them right away. Large serving though. My bf and I only got one combo and couldn't finish the fries with each of our burgers. The burgers are big, at 4 inches wide. THOUSAND ISLAND BURGER: I liked it at first because of the thousand island, but for the bites that didn't have it, I noticed that the patty didn't taste seasoned...like at all. I was shocked at how bland it was without the dressing. MUSHROOM BURGER: The mushrooms had no flavor, probably weren't seasoned at all. The burger, overall, was also very bland. Unseasoned patty here too. The ingredients felt fresh, but it was missing the flavor we were expecting. Really disappointing. They gave ketchup packets in the bag, but we didn't remember they were in there before finishing our burgers. It probably would've really helped, but the burgers shouldn't have needed it to be good.
