Seen this place on TikTok and had to give it a try! We got the spicy spin and fries and onion rings. The sealed burgers are very easy to eat and less of a mess. Definitely satisfied the fast food craving with a Korean style burger. Didn't try the Nutella spin as I was full but would like to try it at some point. Service was excellent, everyone was friendly, and it's well priced. This is a good quick place to go to with the family as well.
There was mold on the ice dispenser and my burger was very half *ssed. I'd never go back there. Probably gonna call the health department.
Interesting burger concept taken from South Korea with sealed burgers located in the heart of Texas. We ordered three spinning buns, the classic spin, steak spin, and Nutella. The classic was okay, the steak was good, the Nutella was disappointing. The steak was like a Philly cheesesteak. The Nutella was off maybe because during the sealing process it cooks the fruit a bit? Also the sealing process makes it a nice grab and go meal. If I were to come back I would stick to the steak spin. Also if you're dining with someone no need for both of you to get fries you get plenty with one combo! The ambience is fast casual and the service is fast and friendly.
I had never heard of Korean style pressed burgers before coming here. They are good- but different. The press seals the burger so its hot, juicy with a crust. This burger doesn't have your classic lettuce and tomatoes on it- a bit more like a hot pocket. Overall I really liked the burger. The fries were delicious- not soggy at all- and the nutella was a great dessert. The ambience is fast casual and clean. There was plenty of seating when we stopped by. Service was friendly and burgers were out within 15 minutes. Overall Id recommend if you are looking to try a new food trend!
I've had UFO burgers before and really liked them a lot, so I was excited to see that Austin had a spot that sold these as well! One misconception though, some descriptions label this restaurant as Korean style. And while this style was trending in Korea, the flavors are all still American. I think this is a really fun concept and a fun way to eat burgers. But in terms of burgers and the food itself, it wouldn't be my top pick. So I can see people coming here once for the experience, but not necessarily coming back for the food. However, I really would love if they added some Korean flavor styled burgers to the menu! It would also set them apart from other restaurants outside of the shape of the food to ensure people to come back. (And it's what I had originally expected it to be, so I'm sure other people have probably thought the same.) As for the actual food itself, I got the steak spin. It was very reminiscent of a Philly cheese steak. The meat was really good, but the provolone cheese was a little too strong for my personal liking. I liked the onion rings a lot though! They were super crispy and super light. The breading was thin but had a really nice crunch. I would definitely get the onion rings again!
Food was yummy! The fries and onion rings were a solid 10/10. The burgers were good (spicy spin), but I'd like to try out some of the others. Very fun concept! I definitely enjoyed how the burgers really retain their heat because of the way they're pressed. Service was good, straight and to the point, Nice ambiance, but wasn't the biggest fan of their seats, they're rather uncomfortable, but that's incredibly minor in comparison to the fact that the food was very good! If you're considering giving this place a try, I'd definitely recommend you give it a go!
Food was great! My son really liked and "approved" S'mores spin. I really enjoyed shroomy spin! Very tasty and it had unique flavor. Service was pleasant and ambiance was nice. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to burger spin lovers.
I really liked the concept and the burgers were good but not better than other burgers I had. It was just very expensive for what it was. The workers were nice and there is a couple of tables inside to sit at but I took my order to go and it was still warm when I got home.

I got the spicy spin and the classic spin with a side of fries. Not only were the burgers tasty, but you can't beat these low prices! Give them a try if you are in the Mueller area.

My husband loves things to do with aliens so he wanted to try this out. I didn't finish my hamburger, I didn't like the taste. I also thought the fries were bland. I will say the food was ok but not for the price you pay. I waited for a few moments until someone came to take my order. The atmosphere would have been great but two female employees got into argument and they were loud and disrespectful to each other. Please don't let the strip mall location of this locally owned establishment fool you. It is far from the mundane, corporate establishments you'd find in such locales. The pressed bun burger aka the UFO is genius. Why? Because it's kitschy and fun. Not only that, sealing the bun seals in all the flavors. I got the original and my boyfriend got the spicy. All of the flavors and the juicy patty with fillings are neatly compacted allowing for an incredible burst of flavor with each bite. The onion rings have a unique taste to the lightly and perfectly fried ring. The portions are much bigger than they look. I ate half my burger and half an onion ring and I was full. That's ok...leftovers. Of course Benji gives the food two paws up. The service was exceptional. Chatted with employees who were engaging, happy, and helpful. This is the kind of experience you want when you go out to eat. read more

Really delicious burgers. We tried the Classic Cheese and Chicken burgers with fries and onion rings. Both burgers were juicy, meaty, and hit the spot. I'm impressed how full I got. The chicken burger had fried batter, very yummy. Don't forget you can customize them when you order. Be careful. It's extremely hot fresh off the sandwich makers. Makes it perfect to order to-go; the pocket keeps the fillings warm for at least 20 mins. The sauces are all homemade. The owners are still experimenting and coming out with more flavors. They greet all the customers and ask for their opinions. The restaurant ambiance is casual, great for friends and families to grab a quick bite. The staff was all very friendly. When I was photographing the burger making process, I was invited in to film the burgers being pressed inside the sandwich maker. The machines press the buns together, sealing the juice inside and creating the flying saucer look. Hence "Spinning Buns". We definitely want to come back and try out the other flavors: shroom and beef steak. I hear the Nutella and PBJ are all very popular. read more

Amazing customer service topped off an already amazing experience. Hot, fresh, delicious burgers with varieties sure to suit any palate. Fun spin stop challenge at the front to try to win a sweet treat and my son won and got the Biscoff sweet spin with a scoop of ice cream in it. Burgers were AMAZING, sweets were AMAZING and the customer service was flawless. My picky 11 year old ate every last bite, fry orders are generous and all of their sauces were great, too! read more
Unique concept for a burger, but I don't think it ends up being better than a open-face burger. Caveat: I did get delivery so it's not as fresh, so I would highly recommend eating there, which I will re-review when I get to do so. Burger ends up being a bit soggy, like a burrito if you get delivery. I tried the chicken, classic, nutella, and some fries. The fries had some nice seasoning on them, but they did taste a little stale. And the burgers I tried were just alright. The chicken especially doesn't lend well to this format because the breading becomes soggy the longer it steams inside the bun. The overall value isn't bad, though. But for such a nice-looking burger, the flavors didn't match the expectations. read more
Such a fun twist on the classic burger! We tried the classic, the monthly cheesesteak special, the shroomy, and a pb&j. Prices are on point. We also got a side of fries and onion rings. All for around $55 (including 2 sodas). A very good deal for burgers and sides for three people. All the food was on the saltier side. The buns are fresh and delicious. The meats are good. Overall a fun place for value burgers. Some of the least messy, easy to eat on the go, burgers I've ever had. read more
Spinning buns is a cool concept new to Austin where the restaurant uses what appears to be a waffle iron to seal the sides of a burger or chicken sandwich, eliminating the most annoying part of eating a sandwich -- the mess. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon and the restaurant wasn't too busy, however it did take a little long to receive our food. I ordered the chick spin and enjoyed it. The flavor was good and it was full of sauce that otherwise would have dripped out had the sandwich not been sealed. However, it did seem like instead of a fried chicken breast, my sandwich had a chicken patty. My friend ordered the shroomy spin and also enjoyed it. Overall, this was fun to try and I do think it is a good option for lunch if you have the time to wait a little. read more
Great little spot to try something new. I've never had this style sandwich before, good portions for the pricing and service was quick and friendly. We found a seat right away after ordering and the food came within 10 minutes or less. Served hot and really yummy! I saw this restaurant on TikTok. I was in Austin for work and decided to stop. It did not disappoint. I got the shroom burger with fries and a drink. It was well priced and the burger was amazing. Every bite was hot and fresh like it was the first bite. Daphne recommend everyone try. read more

My first time here. I had heard about them from Instagram, I believe an influencer. (Your advertising is working) Parking lot is small/medium. It's a shopping center with parking all around, but right in front it's small. I walked in, and was greeted immediately. The menu is pretty straight forward. A few burger choices, sides, drinks, and you can get a combo. Which is what I ended up getting. I placed my order with a classic burger and onion rings. The combo also comes with a drink where you serve yourself. The dining area is small, and very clean. I grabbed a seat, and waited for my order to be ready. The gentleman that took my order also brought it to me. I would assume if it was busy they would call out your order number from the receipt. So the burger is just a basic classic burger. Nothing fancy. Had pickles and onions on it. It does come with a house sauce. Which taste spicy, but didn't have heat to it. Not sure how else to explain it. I thought it was good. The "bun" looks like a UFO, and there's a grill/branding marking of SB on top. Burger is thin, reminded me of a McDonald's burger, but with the house sauce, it was not McDonald's. Onion rings had a good flavor to them too. They are not the crunchy flaky type onions rings. They're more like a smooth battered onion rings. The meal comes with ranch. I did like the crunch of the onion rings. They seemed to have a little spicy flavor to them. Maybe the same sauce from the burger? The meal was filling. I wasn't able to finish the combo. Did use the bathroom which was spotless. It's a 1 bathroom, and it's large inside. Smelled cleaned, looked cleaned, trash can was clean. They offer the paper toilet seat covers. It's such a simple feature, but a girl that sits, I'm always grateful for those seat covers. They have a hook on the inside of the door, which is so nice for us that carry a hand bag. This was a unique little food find near mueller. The sandwiches are sealed up in a "spinning bun" to where things aren't falling out of the sandwich. You can choose from burgers, chicken and dessert sandwiches. We heard the onion rings were good so we gave those a try and the breading tasted like corn dogs. Everything was good, but nothing spectacular. Service was a tad slow and the workers weren't the friendliest. I did appreciate the unique spin on things though! read more

Sadly, I can't say I loved this place. The concept is fun, but the execution is alright. It ended up being a standard burger vibe just squished and made into the fun shape. Parking is easy and there is plenty of it. Service was ok, not very friendly or welcoming but did their job and it was fine. For me the distance I drove from my home to this place was not worth it, but if you live in the area I think it's a fine place for a simple burger. read more
Staff was kind in answering our questions and space was clean. Personally I thought the burger was okay, fries were good! They make the food fresh so it look about 10 min until I got my good. What a fun concept! Delicious burgers in a pressed bun, no mess. They have maybe 4 sandwich options, and their special of the month was a cheesesteak-type sandwich. We ordered that along with the spicy buns and the fried chicken one. All of them were served hot fresh and delicious. Perfect amount of condiments safely tucked inside, and the sides of onion rings and fries were large. Service was friendly, you order at the counter then sit down. It's not very big inside. I will be returning to try the dessert buns! read more
For starters, this small restaurant does not face the road and is well hidden inside a parking lot next to a chicken wing joint. Inside there's only about 10 small tables and a single bathroom, but there are a couple tables out back. They have limited hours of operation and they are closed on Monday. This place recently opened and in my never-ending quest for the best burger in Austin, I had to try it out. Sadly, I have to admit this place is not going to make my list. It's an interesting concept they have going on as they press your burger together with a brioche bun, but it's not enough to have me coming back. I do give them credit for at least throwing either a fresh or frozen patty on the grill instead of dragging it out of some precooked chafing tray, but no flame grilling here. Their menu is very limited to the point of being oversimplified. After we made our burger order, I noticed on the overhead menu that I could've added another patty for $3, but it was too late and not mentioned on their paper menu. You do not get lettuce and tomato on your burger, but it does come with pickles. They do give you a small side salad with your burger, however, the only dressing they had was ranch. Apart from the burger, the best way to find out if this is a good burger joint is how good the fries and onion rings are. The rings were very greasy and mushy with very little crunch to them, very disappointing! The fries were average and were also a little too greasy. We wound up throwing half of them away. As for drinks, you can pick one up at the counter or use their soda machine which was not functioning on my visit. No alcohol or shakes served here. When paying with a credit card, the tip screen will pop up starting at 15%, all for making your own order, picking up your order and clearing off your table. To be honest, this is more like a two star experience, but since they opened very recently, they still may be trying to iron out the kinks, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. However, this is my first and last time here. Plenty of parking and photos included for more insight. read more
Spinning Buns is a different take on the classic hamburger they have been dubbed online the UFO burger. They have monthly special buns which makes returns visits that much more justifies. It is a newer establishment so I feel they are still working on the flow of the restaurant. It took a little bit for our food to come out. Once we did get the food it was piping hot and I had to wait a bit to start eating the food. The food was delicious and the service was excellent too I feel they really care about their customers. Great place to get a quick bite but may recommend you get it to go so you give time for the food to cool. read more

This is my favorite go-to for takeout. I've tried most of the burgers on the menu at this point and I don't have a favorite because they're all great. However, the onion rings are my absolute favorite. The service is also great, with food always arriving hot. read more
