We attended a memorial service at All Souls Cemetary (about a 10 minute drive away). We came here after for brunch. (Thank you Yelpers for the reviews that led us here). There were six of us and we were seated quickly. As you walk in, you can hear the sounds of great tunes on the juke box and are immediately immersed into a classic diner's vibe. The wall decor visually appealing with many small records mounted very appropriately for the "Spinner's" theme. I had a malt shake and onion rings. (OK, not the healthiest option; but some days it's all you feel like) . They had a special 'Beef on Weck'. My husband had it and let me try it. Wow. The beef was melt in your mouth tender on this amazing Kümmelweck Roll from Bread Head Bread Company in Conneaut. (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61558226552648) What a match made in food heaven. Our waitress was excellent. Helpful and kind! The owner Kim came by our table. She was so nice and explained the partnership she had with the Bread company in Canneaut. Everyone enjoyed the meal and we can't wait to come back ! Really great place; so glad we found it.

Super fun decor and our waitress was fun and spunky. Great diner! I had yummy French toast with real maple syrup.

Stopped in after a doctors appointment. Located in a strip mall in Chardon, the interior is decked out with 50's memorabilia. A Buddy Holly record was being played along with others as we ate. Only there for an hour, it was busy with regulars. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Coffee refills were on time before I had to ask.

Just a sample of the decor

My friends & I (all retired teachers) bike just about every Thursday. This morning (10/05/23) we rode the Maple Highlands Trail, and then stopped at Spinner's to eat (late breakfast, early lunch). FOOD - I had "The Fabian" burger (w/fries), which in my opinion had one of the best flavors of any burger I've had in recent memory. The fries (hard to mess up fries; although I've eaten places that try EXTREMELY HARD to do so) were adequate (good, but not the selling point of this restaurant). [BTW - my one friend ordered the "Poodle Skirt" burger. As a fan of fried cheese, I need to go back just for that - it looked AMAZING!] DECOR - For any "baby boomer" this place will invoke a wave of nostalgic memories. For those of you born after 1969 (especially if you are interested in Americana), go there with a "boomer" and ask them questions; you will learn a lot! SERVICE* - Our waitress (Diane, if I remember correctly - a BIG IF) was GREAT. Order taken & food prepared relatively quickly (I was quite hungry after having no breakfast & just completing a 20mi ride), so I was happy not to wait long. (Full disclosure - the place was not crowded when we walked in). PRICE - Inflation has caused prices everywhere to go crazy. However, many places charge A LOT more for the same type of meal. I am totally satisfied with what I paid for the value of the meal I received. *Note - Everywhere businesses are asking much more out of the few employees they can get to work for them. This is especially true in the restaurant business. For anyone that gets easily impatient & does not give their server the "benefit of the doubt" in a crowded restaurant . . . . well, my opinion of that person is inappropriate to post in this review.

Be nice to your waitstaff and tip generously! Eating brunch here on Sunday before going apple…read morepicking reminded me of just how hard they work and how terrible so many people treat these lovely folk. That's my PSA for today. As for everything else, this little diner is definitely locally owned and locally loved. It was only a few minutes from the farm I took my bf to go apple picking on the far east side of Cleveland. FYI!!! - The menu online is incredibly outdated!! Each thing is about 50% more expensive. Use the attached menu pictures to get an accurate idea of prices in late 2025. This is no longer a cheap place to eat. :( After about 15 minutes of waiting, we were sat at the counter right next to the cash register and could hear everything the staff said. I was enlightened as to how terrible they are treated by stingy, entitled customers. I felt terrible about my impatience at getting seated and getting our food but it seems like all the staff and cooks were just burnt out today. They still did a pretty good job at making yummy food though! My bf got a skillet with home fries and wheat toast. This was a lot of food and the toast was very thicccc and very heavily buttered. I ordered a gyro salad with tzaziki sauce and it came with buttered triangles of pita bread. Since we weren't prepared for the price changes, we just got water to drink. We both were shocked at how LARGE the portions were! The gyro meat was so good and the pita bread was nice and lightly buttered. My bf was a huge fan of the sausage in his skillet. Because we didn't want to leave the food in the car for a few hours, we ate everything and did not have leftovers although we could have! Not sure how well my gyro salad would taste as leftovers though so it was probably best I ate everything. Lastly, I made sure to thank them and tip generously. I hope everyone else there did the same. I ended up paying about $42.

Nice diner in Chesterland. Came for breakfast they also serve lunch. They are open until 2 pm…read more They were very busy when we got there at 9:15 am. The main dining area was full the side area was getting full. Our server was very friendly. Hometown vibes. The portions were large. We ended up taking some home. O tried my husband's sausage and biscuits. The biscuits were delicious ! Fluffy and perfect. The gravy was good. It needed a bit more flavor via spices like salt and pepper. Easy to add, but better cooked in. I had the Hercules gyro with eggs and wheat toast. Loved the seeded wheat thick toast. The tzatziki sauce was very nice. Gyro meet was tasty. The shredded hash towns were perfectly cooked. My mother in law got the godfather. The guido Italian sausage looked good and she said it was great. Would definitely come back!
