Fresh Star Diner is one of the best diners around. A friendly seat yourself family atmosphere with a classic bar with stools if it's busy. The servers work as a team to ensure your coffee is always full and the food comes out hot. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent small restaurant open only to 3 pm and closed on Mondays. It's our go to place for breakfast or lunch. Their eggs Benedict is served 3 ways including corned beef hash, crab cake or bacon. They also have a chipotle style with avocado. All excellent. Their chili is great too. Excellent onion rings.

Needed to spend the morning in Twinsburg and got the chance to visit this diner. Very home-town proud, lots of people knowing each other. Similar to Jim's Open Kitchen in Solon or Aurora, and Washington Street Diner in Bainbridge. Food was okay, hence the 4-star. Ordered eggs over easy, more like over-medium. "Real" Corned beef didn't have much taste and texture. Could use more seasoning and more time in the griddle. Coffee was WEAK. I was hoping that it would have a bit more coffee taste to it, but not there either. Staff was friendly and the service was fast. Got the job done (I was full).

We really liked fresh start diner! It's a fast paced diner with excellent food to get your breakfast or lunch fill. They serve breakfast all day and start serving lunch at 10:30. The service was really quick and everyone was kind. The coffee didn't go below half a cup. We liked the fact that you pick your table!

There is an EV charger right on a side road in front of the parking lot. Doesn't say TESLA on the charging station. Down home diner! Nothing fancy just homemade menu with friendly and prompt service. They also offer gluten-free French toast, waffles and pancakes.

Diners are a good place to get a solid meal and this was decent. No flair but the waitstaff were attentive and helpful with my elderly parents. The menu is full of your classic diner fare but lacks a pizzazz item.

Food & drinks are very good portions!!! The skillet came with a large pancake & toast !! Cottage cheese omelette also very good with optional potatoes!!! Meat omelette good with potatoes & cinnamon - raisin toast!! Different & good!!! Service outstanding!!! Refill on teas, although large already, we're filled quickly!!! Floor & tables kept clean, & they even had tips for the cooks!!! Very Cool when they ring the bell & cook's respond!!!!

What a quaint but very loud diner this was. After our other option fell through, we decided to try this place. It looked like a long wait but luckily we were seated immediately, the smaller the party the better! Our waitress was great and the service was fast. Very friendly staff! The parking lot if small and an odd shape so it can get crowded at times. The diner was very loud and my least favorite thing was when they would ring this very loud bell every now and then when chef's got tips. Aside from the noise level, the food was good and well portioned. The pancakes are LARGE.

We also had a couple bottles of wine at the table, which were good as well. For appetizers, we shared oysters, meatballs, and shrimp cocktail. All of them were good, but the meatballs were my favorite. For my entrée, I ordered the prime rib. It was a bit saltier than I would have liked, but the sides helped balance it out. I really enjoyed the corn and mashed potatoes, and I also added mushrooms and onions, which helped offset the saltiness. In hindsight, I kind of wish I had ordered the filet mignon, as I suspect it wouldn't have been as salty. The bread at the beginning of the meal was also really good. Dessert was a standout--I got the turtle cake, and it was huge. It's definitely the best value on the menu. Three of us shared it and still couldn't finish it, though that may have also been due to the amount of food and drinks we had throughout the night. The food did take a while to come out, but the service remained good the entire time. We expected dinner to wrap up around 7:00, but we started at 5:30 and didn't finish until about 8:30--there were 16 of us, so it was understandable. Overall, a solid experience, especially for a group event.

The pizza crust is always a hit or miss at places with a GF crust, but the crust is a big winner here. The cheese blend pairs nicely with the sausage and pepperoni. Filling and satisfying! The burger was enjoyed. Not a favorite fir my dad, but has plenty of other burgers to get there. My brother got the Featured Italian Wrap. We all looked at his plate at how BIG it was. We were seated by the male host in the middle part of the dining room. We were watching the servers just go by our table multiple times while we were sitting. That's when I decided to start timing on how long it would take for anyone to serve us or even acknowledge us that we were there sitting in the middle of the dining room. During that time the place was not 'crazy-busy' since there were multiple empty tables around us. No one from their staff even approached us to offer water or coffee. After about 25 mins of sitting "unattended", a large group of people just walked in and were seated behind us. Within a couple of minutes the waitress, who ignored us, immediately started taking orders on drinks from this large group. She was all smile and everything. That's when my friend and I decided to leave the restaurant. Upon leaving the restaurant, I said to the male host great job on the "no service" we received from their establishment. With a grin on his face he said 'thank you' to me. That's when I even got more mad that his grin is showing satisfaction that we never got served by anyone. I asked him, "what are you smiling at?" I added, "how come the large group of people who just walked in immediately got served and we were just ignored?" That's when he took his grin off his face and said "sorry." I said, "you're not sorry." I will never, never go back to this ugly, evil place ever again. If they just told us in the first place that we are not welcome to their establishment, they would have gotten my respect for being honest. I'm in the food service industry myself for 30 years and I know what a good customer service is. Sadly, none of it exist at First Watch in Macedonia, OH. The arrogant attitude from the staff at this establishment is just a reflection of having bad management and bad owners all around. I think everyone at this establishment should attend a sensitivity training. This place does not deserve my hard earned dollars to go to after how First Watch in Macedonia treated me and my friend. I'm even a big tipper. So for anyone that maybe hungry, do not go to this place. Go to Bob Evans, I-Hop, Zuki Sushi House, anywhere but First Watch in Macedonia. My friend and I ended up in Zuki Sushi House down the street where we received great service. STAY AWAY FROM FIRST WATCH in Macedonia, unless you want to be ignored by the staff.
