Amazing food at a very affordable price! Loved this old school diner feel. Service was good - staff was very friendly and made you feel right at home. We will be going back! P.s. loved how many regulars they had! Shows that people come back!

Very affordable. Super friendly ladies serving and male owner who sits at the front and helps. Lovely establishment. Delicious well sized omelet with grits and the toast was actually crispy and well buttered- not soggy at all.

We came here this morning for breakfast since it was our last breakfast before flying home. We love diners and this place was super cute! The staff was super friendly and so welcoming! The food was your typical diner food and yummy! If we lived out here, this would be a regular place for us.

The atmosphere is definitely diner. The food was decent. We're had no complaints. The waiter was absolutely delightful.

Over easy eggs, home fries (omg so good!) perfectly cooked bacon. We also had pancakes & they were delicious!

Not only was the food great (breakfast!) but the service was exemplary. The workers were not only kind to customers, but extremely kind to each other. No bickering in the kitchen, arguing over orders or tables. Everyone pitches in. Really great experience. I'll be back.

The place is amazing. Great food easy to get to it on the corner lot driveway is a little weird to get into wheelchair accessible even the owner will hold the door open for you if you have a wheelchair pay with the credit card. The interior store is very nice very colorful.

Great Diner serving up great food. We came for breakfast, served all day of course, and we are glad we did. Thanks Yelp! When we arrived at 1130 on a sunny Sunday it was half full. When left at 1230 it was full and a line awaiting. Plenty of parking in a funny shaped lot. Great service and the kitchen put out our order just as we asked.

The Full Belly breakfast on the it's $11.50 w/cheese. The owner adds unauthorized up charge The owner is a racist crooked thief.

Great place to grab a bite to eat. However, you have to pay attention because the owner is the only cashier and every time I order a meal, the host writes the cost of the meal on the check. The owner, the short bald and round owner always charge me more than what is written on the check. I have noticed each time I have dined there over the past few years. It's sad because I don't even know how the hosts or waitress get their tips because the owner is always stealing from his customers. Beware, you are being over charged then he asks would you like a receipt? I clearly saw the check which said $12.50 and the owner changed it to $13.50

Pretty good diner at the corner of 55th and St Clair. You can't miss it. It is gleaming stainless steel. Inside it's spotless. Immaculately clean. When the booth next to us cleared out the chef came over and wiped the tabletop and all of the condiment containers. Very nice. I had the cheeseburger and onion rings. The cheeseburger was a half pounder and cooked perfectly medium as I asked. The onion rings were battered. Not usually my favorite these were pretty good. Burger and rings for $10.50. Pretty good bargain. Very friendly staff. They take pride in their work and their diner.

I mean who doesn't love a good diner? The Diner on 55th won't disappoint as far as good food fast. I ordered 2 Pancakes, Bacon (not pictured) grits & hashbrowns. I ordered one blueberry and 1 regular pancake and I was very surprised to see a whole blueberry pop out. The pancake wasn't very flavorful, but the fact that the blueberries were so big is what I appreciated. My server Julie was that old school type and I had an overall pleasant experience.

Highly recommend this nostalgic diner!! The atmosphere is family friendly . Jimmys specials are so delicious. Today I had his Pastitos - sooo good. Thanks Keep up the good work.

Yummmmm !!! I'm always a little iffy ordering eggs for a restaurant, but they poached it perfectly for my liking! Just runny enough! I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.

Eating brunch here on Sunday before going apple…read morepicking reminded me of just how hard they work and how terrible so many people treat these lovely folk. That's my PSA for today. As for everything else, this little diner is definitely locally owned and locally loved. It was only a few minutes from the farm I took my bf to go apple picking on the far east side of Cleveland. FYI!!! - The menu online is incredibly outdated!! Each thing is about 50% more expensive. Use the attached menu pictures to get an accurate idea of prices in late 2025. This is no longer a cheap place to eat. :( After about 15 minutes of waiting, we were sat at the counter right next to the cash register and could hear everything the staff said. I was enlightened as to how terrible they are treated by stingy, entitled customers. I felt terrible about my impatience at getting seated and getting our food but it seems like all the staff and cooks were just burnt out today. They still did a pretty good job at making yummy food though! My bf got a skillet with home fries and wheat toast. This was a lot of food and the toast was very thicccc and very heavily buttered. I ordered a gyro salad with tzaziki sauce and it came with buttered triangles of pita bread. Since we weren't prepared for the price changes, we just got water to drink. We both were shocked at how LARGE the portions were! The gyro meat was so good and the pita bread was nice and lightly buttered. My bf was a huge fan of the sausage in his skillet. Because we didn't want to leave the food in the car for a few hours, we ate everything and did not have leftovers although we could have! Not sure how well my gyro salad would taste as leftovers though so it was probably best I ate everything. Lastly, I made sure to thank them and tip generously. I hope everyone else there did the same. I ended up paying about $42.

O tried my husband's sausage and biscuits. The biscuits were delicious ! Fluffy and perfect. The gravy was good. It needed a bit more flavor via spices like salt and pepper. Easy to add, but better cooked in. I had the Hercules gyro with eggs and wheat toast. Loved the seeded wheat thick toast. The tzatziki sauce was very nice. Gyro meet was tasty. The shredded hash towns were perfectly cooked. My mother in law got the godfather. The guido Italian sausage looked good and she said it was great. Would definitely come back!
