    Italian Sausage Skillet
    Ginger

What a little gem I never knew existed right in my backyard. While I have preferences how I like my vegetables chopped, the doneness of my potatoes, and the style of meat whenever I am fortunate enough to order a breakfast skillet or be the recipient of a skillet as a surprise like this dish was, I never request my preferences nor will I refuse to indulge in a skillet because those are just my personal minuscule modifications I can handle once I receive my dish. So with that, I was blown away that this skillet , my potatoes and vegetables were beyond perfect for my liking. The sausage wasn't a favorite; however, goodness the taste and explosion of deliciousness with the most beautifully-cooked potatoes mixed with cooked veggies , eggs, and cheese made this skillet a Topper for me. Since I never knew of this place prior to today actually, I will be returning and returning and returning and ... you guessed it... returning.

Dining area. Bright and very clean

Breakfast gem tucked in Bedford Auto Mile. Formerly Chris's Family completely remodeled FRESH clean relevant decor. Owner Yanni(?) served excellent fresh gyro Skillet and chicken strip ( not frozen) basket with tasty fries. Great pricing. (~$10 each) Our waitress Jessica(?)amazing service and made us feel like royalty. We will definitely put on repeat.

Easily the nicest most awesome person i've met in a long time.. Service alone should be 10 stars. My wife got huevos rancheros. I got Jose scrambler. Oh, my gosh both were perfect. Easily 5 star food. Can't wait till they open new restaurant in Mentor OH.

Two things to know about this place: 1) If you are meeting people there for a meal, you won't get…read moreseated until everyone in your party is there and 2) be prepared to have someone come to your table to ask you to leave after you pay your bill because they need your table...even though there might be a LOT of open tables elsewhere in the restaurant. (This rule is apparently stated somewhere on the menu.) My wife and I were meeting our daughter for breakfast at 8:30 AM on a Saturday and she was running a few minutes late. There were a lot of empty tables, so we figured we could sit and enjoy some coffee until she arrived. The hostess informed us they do not seat 'incomplete parties', so at 8:35, when our girl arrived, we were seated immediately. To us, it was an odd rule, but not completely unreasonable. We shrugged it off. Our service and the food was very good overall. Once we were seated, our server came to the table with menus and water. While we were waiting for coffee, another younger woman came to our table to make sure someone had taken care of us. That was great and our server turned out to be very attentive and efficient. We were enjoying a really great breakfast visit with our daughter. Food was tasty and portions were plentiful. The conversation was happy and the overall experience to that point was very positive. Around 9:45 our server came to the table to give us the bill and I was able to pay it at the table-so convenient! A few minutes later, we were wrapping up our stay while trying to finish our coffee and conversation, when a man came to our table a and told us, "You're going to have to leave. We need your table." He was blunt and unpleasant, and never identified himself. We were dumbfounded. None of us had EVER been asked to leave a restaurant for ANY reason. When we got up and began walking out, we counted eight available tables up front and there were two in our section, plus there was a room in the back with tables. WHY would a manager ruin a mostly positive experience with such a rude, offensive, and unnecessary request? We had confirmed it was the manager who told us to leave because we mentioned what happened to the hostess (who seemed mildly surprised) and she confirmed the man who had told us to leave was, indeed, the manager. My wife is from Chicago and has been to the Original Pancake House near where she grew up and she had never had an experience like ours in a city that is SO much larger and busier than Woodmere, Ohio. We may try to give this place another shot since the food and service was good. I did let the corporate office know we were offended by the manager's rudeness. Their corporate office was responsive and apologetic, so I give them bonus points for hearing our concerns.

In the front of the building there's an Indian grocery store with the same name, but once you head around to the back, you'll see the entrance to the restaurant. There's ample parking and a small patio. I wanted to try something beyond my usual chicken masala or butter chicken, so I asked for a recommendation and placed an order for pickup over the phone. The employee recommended the malabar chicken, a coconut curry dish, however I opted for a cashew curry dish. The chattined chicken korma was super tasty, not too spicy, and full of flavor. The chicken was super moist and tender and It came with a good amount of jasmine rice and two pieces of garlic naan. The naan was moist in some areas but somewhat overcooked in others rendering it a little bit tough to eat. I also got an appetizer of samosas, which were absolutely incredible! The potatoes were packed with flavor and the pastry outside was both flaky and soft. The samosas came with two dipping sauces, one chutney and one that tasted like a sweet tea dipping sauce. Both were really good. Overall the meal was very tasty and had great flavors. My only complaint was the size of the chicken entree. It was pretty small in comparison to the amount of rice. The sauce that it came in was really tasty, but was quickly swallowed up once I put it over my rice. A slightly larger to-go container would have solved this problem or less rice. I will say, I didn't finish the entire meal and definitely felt full. I'm happy to have discovered this place that's been in an area I frequent for over 8 years. I look forward to trying another new dish in the near future.

Since this restaurant focused on southern Indian cuisine, we tried to order only South Indian entrees with 2 exceptions (masala dosa and palak paneer). The mango lassi is made fresh with real mangos, the freshness of the mangoes is evident and no extra sugar. For appetizers we got chicken cutlet, veg cutlet parippu vada and Gobi 65. All were wonderful. Although I was not expecting the chicken cutlet to be made with very finely ground chicken. What's a great way to start the meal. Hard to believe but it gets better with the meal. For our mains we got: palak paneer, vendakai masala (okra), eggplant masala, kappa with green curry, goat curry in bone. We ordered medium spice level on all the entrees and it was ok for me. My favorite was the goat curry with bone, the meat was tender and the flavor profile was out of this world weather you eat it with naan or rise. Awesome food can't wait to go back for my next meal.

The menu offerings are rather diverse and cover basic Americana as well as some European dishes. Breakfast seems to be their thing, but there was still a decent lunch crowd. The atmosphere is total mom-and-pop shop complete with teal booths and old school placemats. The servers are friendly and eager, with the kid-next-door charm that you can expect in a neighborhood like this. The owner is a young native Clevelander who has been in the family restaurant business since he was twelve. This is his first venture into restaurant ownership and his passion for creating a truly welcoming neighborhood joint is very apparent. The chicken noodle soup was clearly homemade and had that momma's kitchen flavor that I like. The Bang Burger is already ranking in as a guest favorite, and not without proper cause. It's a fresh patty topped with grilled ham, turkey, and provolone all on a grilled bun. Served along side crunchy fries. This burger is boss! Today's specials included a goulash served atop noodles, an open-faced roast beef sandwich with all of the fixins', and a beef kabob and fresh mashies combo. I sampled the goulash and must admit that the beef was ultra tender and it was uniquely seasoned. The surely instant potatoes that accompanied the goulash were topped with a really nice house-made gravy. The overall experience was pleasant and the food totally decent. This is good come-as-you-are kinda place. I will for sure be back and hope that others will give this little newbie a try. It's worth it. If I had to sum this place up with one statement it would be... A neighborly old school charmer that's home cooked classics help to warm up this horrid winter!
