Came here on a dinner date and also for brunch and while it's nothing to write home about, it's fine for what it is. The food offerings are pretty basic and the sauces are one-dimensional but the portions are reasonable and you don't leave hungry. Thankfully, this location is not as crowded as the Chagrin Falls one. I think the wait times for both brunch and dinner were not terrible. Service was fine but not particularly quick. Would probably come back for brunch sometime again since First Watch and Chicago Deli are always flooded with people. read more

Trying to decide which was worse the food or the service but bottom line is this place is worse than fast food next time ill hit the chick fil a drive thru instead. Just to validate the experience the manager came by at the end and looked at my food and even agreed that it looked unappetizing. He then offered to remake it and charged for it anyway. I remember going to Yours Truly with a friend when I was little and remember it being cutely decorated and cozy but this was not how I pictured it. The restaurant is setup like a diner and was not as I remembered. We arrived to Yours Truly on a Friday evening around 8pm so it was close to closing time but not there yet. Our waitress seemed annoyed that we were there. At one point in the evening, she made a comment about not being able to carry everything to our table at once. We ordered an appetizer and it arrived with our main meal. We did not get water until being there for maybe 10 minutes. It was all kind of a hot mess. This could have been due to the waitress having a bad night or close to closing, I don't know but I didn't expect service like the way we did. The food however is why this review still has some stars. It was all fantastic. The Notso fries were AMAZING. They're golden cottage fries with melted cheese, chopped bacon, and sour cream. Very good! Just a huge plate of fries that taste like potato skins. I also really liked their chicken tenders with ranch. My friend is gluten free so it was very nice that they have an entire menu on their website that she can choose from. I find Beachwood and Chagrin Falls to be more consistent than Solon. Ask for the chicken terri-toss salad. Awesome wither house dressing and great portion size. For a couple of years, we have looked forward to eating breakfast at Yours Truly Sundays after church. The food was well prepared, the drinks were amazing, and the service and ambiance met our expectations. Unfortunately in the last couple of months, all of that has noticeably changed. The tables are not cleared and adequately wiped and the floors are not swept to remove dropped food. Last Sunday we decided to see if these issues had improved but found that even though tables were empty of diners, dishes remained on several tables and we had to wait to be seated. This was a great experience, service was fast and efficient. We were seated quickly, our waitress was attentive and our orders were prepared quickly. I had the Killit Skillet, it was very filling. A generous portion of hash browns, two pieces of bacon, 2 sausage patties, 2 eggs(I like mine scrambled), and 2 pieces of ciabatta toast. Everything was delicious, truly, the sausage is well seasoned, I'm picky about how my hash browns are cooked, and they did an acceptable job with them. The ciabatta was amazing, I'm not sure if they make it in house or buy it, but wherever it originates, it's wonderful. The service in the restaurant was nice and prompt. My companion said their spinach salad was nothing extraordinary. It was just okay. My Monti Cristo Sandwich was inedible, in my opinion. It was like biting into butter. I don't know what the bread was, but I didn't eat the sandwich. The ambiance was minimal. They need new flooring in that Yours Truly, if nothing else, because it gives the impression of filth. The restaurant looks like there has been no investment in the interior for decades. So I think reviewers are sorta hard on this place. It's a simple breakfast diner and I'm not sure why others are acting like this is supposed to be a super fancy breakfast place. If that is what you are looking for this is not it, think simple, because this is just that. Great place to get an affordable solid huge breakfast. Good coffee, good bloody and good pancakes. My only complaint is that the sausage is not that good (again, don't go expecting house-made sausage). I walked into the you're truly in solon this morning. stood around for over 5 minutes to get sitter and finally a young African American lady came to sit us down by the way am African ! she took us literally outside on the patio side of the restaurant and asked if I wanted a high chair or small metal sit . I told her I wanted a boot she said WE DONT HAVE BOOTHS AVAILABLE ! while am looking around the restaurant with 8 booths available inside of the restaurant clean and ready to go ! she was very rude and dismissive and it was not a very warm welcome environment I was used with yours truly ! I requested the manager who came out and invoiced my complains . he sat us down and we waited another 15 minutes to be waited on after 3 other guest was sitted and one older lady was sitting in a booth and waited on! it wasn't a pleasant experience on my anniversary but it was cool ! we finally got waited on and honestly I was skeptical about eating the food !! read more

This is a carry out review during COVID. They were so friendly on the phone answering questions and taking the order. They luckily have a drive thru which was crazy convenient! We were able to pay at the window and have the food brought to the car. The staff were conversational but kept a safe distance. The food was all packaged well, as ordered, and tasted great! This is a nice little place with A LOT of variety and a solid price. I stopped here with my mom on the way to the airport for lunch. I had the Tuscan chicken, and she had a salad. That salad probably could have fed two people, and the chicken was very flavorful. I got the larger dinner so I also had chili and some fruit. The chili was pretty good (not my favorite but I'm pretty picky about chili). The cantaloupe had some Peel on it. Overall a nice stop. Definitely worth checking out for a solid meal on a conscious budget. read more

Today I dined I'm with a friend. I am newly plant based not many option but I ordered monster hash browns and added spinach and mushrooms. My friend had French toast. I'll blame covid for the service it was slow and they weren't very attentive. The host was very nice and so were the servers they felt bad because our waitress took out drink order and never ordered our food. They have a nice patio and a full bar. I may come back for mimosas or other drinks but the wait for our simple breakfast was almost an hour from the time we ordered. I know everyone is getting use to the new normal so I'll be gentle. Stopped in for breakfast this Sunday morning. Place was hopping, waited for a booth, about 5 minutes. Server was Paul, he was attentive & knowledgeable. Food came out promptly & looked good. We ordered the sunrise toast, which is French toast/eggs & (she ordered crispy bacon), side of toast($2.50 little pricey), came w/halved strawberries also. Bacon was cooked perfectly & French toast was great too. Side of toast was slightly burnt. Sedona omelette w/spinach & red peppers added, was the other meal w/hash browns & an additional 2 eggs (up) w/toast & drink breakfast. The omelette was good & the bacon inside was flavorful. Was a packed omelette, every bite had fixings. The hash browns were crispy but not as hot as they should have been. The 2 eggs up were cooked properly, runny yolks & all, the dry rye toast was little to burnt also. Overall a good experience & we will be back to try other menu items. At first, I thought it was going to be an awful experience as I have not had the best food at this restaurant in the past. However, not only was my food absolutely divine, but my server (RYAN) made it so much better. Not only was he attentive and accommodating, but he was also the most polite and caring server. He consistently made sure that all of our needs were met. If theres any review that says otherwise about Ryan, please trust my review instead. He was a fantastic server, especially with the maturity he displayed at such a young age. I WILL be returning to Solon's YT restaurant due to the amazing service I received. In fact, I will be specifically asking if Ryan's working. The management made an amazing decision when they hired Ryan. read more
